《Love Letter to Adrien》Chat Noir?

Adrien blushed, he didn't actually get to think on what to do when he sees Marinette. He got really good at lying because of this double life he had going on, but he knew this was going to be difficult.
There was an awkward silence, while he was looking down, knowing he had to say some thing quick. He felt Mari's big blue eyes looking at him with concern.
"I don't want to lose her... " he thought as looking into her eyes.
Marinette blushed even more, when Adrien started piercing his eyes to hers.
"I can't ... I just can't"
"Oh hi Mari! Nice to see you! " he said happily, trying to pretend everything was normal.
"Hey Adrien, nice to see you too? .." she said , while she stopped looking into Adrien's eyes and looking at her shoes, knowing the letter topic was going to show up soon.
Adrien knew why Marinette was acting that way, but he thought the best was to pretend nothing happened ....and that he didn't read that ... that beautiful letter....
Marinette knew Adrien saw the letter, I mean, she saw him do it.
"So how was your day Mari?" The blonde boy finally said, after debating for the best thing to say in his mind.
Mari remembered the exact words she wrote;
I know you may not feel
the same way , and if it's like that you can ignore this letter ...
"I get it.." she said quietly, almost whispering, but not quiet enough so that her crush couldn't hear it.
She walked away slowly , leaving Adrien looking at her from behind, thinking of how much he wanted to run and hug her but he couldn't.
"No... dont leave Mari... " he thought as he almost took one step towards following her, but Chloe showed up

"ADRIEENNNNN" shout Chloe
"MY SHOE GOT STUCK IN THIS THING PLEASE HELP ME!!"
Adrien knew he should probably go and help her —but couldn't stop looking at Marinette.
Was the quote "you don't know how much you want something until you lose it" true?
He helped Chloe, but was completely silent.
Chloe noticed something wasn't right with Adrien.
"A-Adriekins, is everything okay?" She said, while Adrien was knelt down trying and get Chloe's shoe out of the problem.
"Im actually not okay Chloe, but please, don't insist, not this time."
Chloe sighed and covered her face with one hand
"You know I will" she said with a smirk
Adrien smiled while he shook his head.
"Ooh, look, problem solved" he said, standing up and pointing with both hands at Chloe's foot.
"Thanks Adriekins, what would I do without you" she said, looking how her friend was going up the stairs.
"Bye Chloe, see you tomorrow." He said not looking back.
Chloe was worried for his friend, after all, he was always there for her when she's sad.. and Adrien and Marinette always console her.. she wanted to do the same.
He turned and saw Chloe running up the stairs towards him,
"Chloe, I'm just a little sick... see you tomorrow"
"Okay—" she said as Adrien entered the bathroom door.
"Well... I won't fall for that but.. maybe he needs some alone time.." she said, looking at the closed door.
Chloe walked away still thinking about her friend.
Adrien looked in the mirror.
"Adrien are you stupid or what" he said to himself .
Plagg clumsily unzipped adriens bag from inside and looked at his holder.
" You can sometimes be , kid"
"And when I say sometimes it means like 90% of the time" Plagg concluded with a little laugh.

"You're not helping Plagg.." Adrien said with a sad expression.
"Remember what she wrote? She said that if you ignored the letter it meant you didn't like her" Plagg said, remembering what was written in the letter Adrien but in his bag. (Obviously Plagg checked it)
"Shoot.... you're right Plagg — wait, you read it? "
"Yeah, I'm in your bag all day every day, and you expect me to not read the only interesting thing you have there? Na-ah kid."
"Ok then what should I do? I can't tell her how I feel for her because I also love Ladybug that wouldn't be fair to either of them, AAA Plagg help me, what should I do??!" He said, knowing Plagg's probably the worst living being to ask for advice, but he's desperate.
"I don't know kid, you humans are complicated. Why can't you just love cheese? Cheese won't hurt you, cheese won't love another person."
"Plagg..."said Adrien hoping the little black cat would stop messing with him.
"What? It's not like you can be another person and talk to her?" Said Plagg while yawning
Plagg waited Adrien to get what he was saying.
"ooOOOHHHhhh I get it!!, I could tell Nino to send her a message for me!!"
"KID THIS IS NOT FIRST GRADE COME ONE" said Plagg ,facepalming himself
"I'm just saying that if you could turn. Magically. Into another person. You could talk to her. Don't you think? Adrien?"
Adrien finally got it.
"Plagg..."
"No , kid wait, I'm about to eat my Cam—"
"CLAWS OUT!! "
"youuu bastar—" said Plagg while he was pulled by his holders ring, like a magnet.
Adrien looked at his alter ego in the mirror. He smiled and left through the window.
Chat Noir jumped on the buildings roofs looking for Mari. The clouds in the sky looked like it was going to rain.
He hesitated for a sec to catch his breath, but saw her.
Marinette was at her balcony, thinking about the pictures of Adrien she had taped to her wall. Its true, she has several of them because she likes fashion, but deep down, she knows she adores him.
She sighed and put her hair up in a bun. Took out her drawing notebook, and started designing. This is the way she tried and forget about what happened that day.
" She seems ok" thought Chat , still watching her in the distance.
But Marinette closed her eyes, held her pen really tight, and shed a tear. She couldn't hold it longer. She covered her face and sobbed.
Chat's heart broke.
He couldn't move, he wanted to say he was sorry but he couldn't. That wouldn't help.
Chat just saw how Marinette cried. He felt horrible but thought she was beautiful even when she cried like that..
"She's so cute.." he thought
Marinette stopped crying and looked at the sky, and then , to the buildings that surrounded her house.
It was getting dark. And the wind rushing and the way the clouds were, Chat knew that if he stayed there, he would end up being a wet cat, and that wouldn't be so nice.
A bee rested on Chat's shoulder. He noticed, and started to look at it closely, admiring every detail. But the dang bee flew into his eye, making him make a little scream, or so he thought.
" Chat Noir?"

Shift (Ben 10+DCU Fanfiction)
Omnitrix+ DCU, what's not to like? The main character will not be Ben Tennyson, rather someone from our world who gains the Omnitrix Hello! This fanfiction Shift is what I wanted to do for an homage to what I thought were underrated pieces of media, Ben 10 and some DCU characters. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t add context to two of the major works that inspired Shift, Dial, and A Practical Guide to Evil. Dial is another ben 10 fanfiction, however that story takes place in the MCU, and with an adult that is already a grown-up at the beginning of the story. Dial, by my own accounts, is more superficially Like shift, even though the Omnitrix is a central device in both. My protagonist starts out around 18 years old, so is less serious and can build relationships with some of the junior justice league members, and then later on in the story meet the Justice League officially. The tone will be more light-hearted at the beginning of the story as teenagers are known to use sarcasm and jokes at each other’s expense. Furthermore, in Dial, the protagonist has a well-developed knowledge of the MCU which he uses to have knowledge on events and characters, that the character in Shift will not have. While the MC will have some knowledge of people's abilities, lesser-known characters and people's real identities will be not included as much, but the MC of Shift will have some knowledge. APGTE's influence is deeper than Dials'. The epigraphs at the beginning of every chapter are an example of that, a place for light-hearted jokes and worldbuilding that's not pure exposition, but I also want to incorporate narrative stories to Shift (heroes win more than lose, providence, etc) on a lighthearted scale. While the heroes of Shift will have to work to win against villains, the MC of Shift will be allowed limited precognition, through narratives tropes and archetypes as a trade-off of less knowledge of the DCU. For example, a villain a hero faces might monologue, but the MC will not instinctively know how to counter every villain they encounter. I also wanted to bring in more realism than usual superhero stories, ie: the MC cannot just walk and have a meeting with Batman or Superman, he would have to “work his way up” in terms of credibility and whatnot. The Aliens that show up in Shift I tried to make different than the ones in Dial, just to share the love for lesser-known characters. And to make it fairer for the villains of the DCU, the main character will not wantonly use if gain at all an Alien X or a ben 10 form of Kryptonians, just so the characters have to work a little bit for victory. I urge anyone reading to consider checking out both APGTE and Dial as they are both amazing works, and I hope you enjoy them. The beginning of how the MC enters the DCU will not be as important as him actually existing in that universe, so that is why a ton of time is not spent on that part of the story. Chapters will be around 2.5 thousand words and come out around every weekday.
