《Love Letter to Adrien》The love letter

"I will confess my love to him." thought Marinette.
She was in her balcony, looking at the sky as the sun hid. She thought about Adrien, and how she hated having to supress her feelings for him. She wanted to tell him how she felt.
Mari knew that it wouldn't be a great idea to just tell him directly, because she'll just get nervous and end up sounding stupid like she did a few years ago. She hadn't stuttered in years, but she knows that if she talks about her feelings, she will.
A text can sometimes be lame.
"A letter"
She thought
"I' actually have given him a letter before...... ".
she stopped
"But I never signed it"
She hurried to her desk and clicked the top of the pen repeatedly making Tikki notice and fly her way to her holder's shoulder.
Dear Adrien
I'm madly in love with you please date and marry me
Marinette
Marinette looked at Tikki looking for approval.
"How bout that? It's going straight to the point"
Tikki gave Mari the
'are you kidding me' look.
"Okay Tikki, I'll try and be more romantic"
She erased what she wrote before and filled the paper ;
Dear Adrien
This letter is really hard for me to write, and maybe it's hard for you to read, but I have to confess my love for you. I've been hiding this feeling for years, and I'm not capable of doing it anymore.
I .. have a crush on you.
I know you may not feel the same way , and if it's like that you can ignore this letter ...
But if you do feel the same...you can talk to me.
-Marinette
Marinette sighed as she finished writing. She really hoped Adrien didn't ignore the letter, which meant hedidnt feel the same way..

Tikki hugged Mari's cheek.
"It'll be al right Marinette , I think it's very brave of you to do that!"
Marinette smiled.
She already had a plan in mind, on how to give Adrien the letter.
—
Everytime Marinette saw Adrien through the hallways , her heart stopped, remembering that today was the day he would find about what she felt.
3:00pm
It was the last period.
Marinette made sure everyone got out of the boys locker room.
As soon as they did, she entered at the speed of light, so no one could see her.
She searched for Adrien's locker, and carefully tried and opened it.
" YES!" Mari thought ,
"it didn't have a lock on, phew"
She placed the letter in a visible way, so Adrien could see it and read it. But then it happened. The door from the boy's locker room opened.
Marinette's heart stopped .
"A place to hide" she thought in complete terror.
She got in some guys locker and closed it slowly.
From inside the locker, she could see the person that was approaching.
" Adrien "
Adrien opened his locker, and noticed right away the letter.
He looked around looking for the person who put this envelope there.
"Hello?" He said slowly.
Adrien sat on the floor, opened the letter and started reading.
Marinette's heart beat so loud she was surprised Adrien didn't hear it.
"Marinette...." she softly whispered. He thought about his best friend Marinette and everything they've been through.
Adrien liked Mari, he thought she was beautiful, kind and honest. She was perfect. But also knew that he loved his Lady, and it wouldn't be fair to Mari..
Still sitting on the floor, he covered his face with the paper he had just finished reading.
"Oh Mari.."
He put the letter in his bag, and headed out the door. Deciding to pretend that he didn't read it, and maybe make Marinette think that he never saw it. But little did he know that the ninja Marinette just saw everything.

"H-He said my n-n-name" said Marinette.
Mari got out the lockers and headed down stairs to the entrance, since there happened to be 2 minutes left of class.
She turned around fast and it all seemed slow-mo.
She turned and bumped into Adrien. And they both blushed intensely. They made eye contact for about 5 seconds until one could finally say something.
"Hello Adrien.." said Mari looking at the floor.

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.
