The woman's eyes grew wide as she looked at Xerxes in disbelief. He rolled his eyes."You were angry about the deer, right?" The woman looked at the speared boy; she felt sorry for him. The boy didn't know any better, he didn't know about the set boundaries.

"Yes, but I'm not going to kill an innocent boy over ignorance." The woman said. Xerxes ignored her and continued to carry the Sky boy in his arms.

The woman wasn't going to let the boy die, but she knew she needed red leaf so his wound won't get infected. "You and I both know the beast won't want a sick prey, we need red leaf." The woman said. Xerxes stopped walking and considering what she stated.

"Go get the red leaf. I'll burn the flesh." The woman nodded and went to retrieve the red seaweed. The Sky boy grunts rang throughout the forest making the woman move quickly to the stream. The woman ran back to the Sky boy, who Xerxes was tying all four of his limbs to the broken tree. "Careful, there's a trap for the beast." He warned.

The woman could make out the slight set up of the leaves, but the Sky People wouldn't be able to tell the difference. As Xerxes finished tying up the Sky boy, the Tree Woman thought of a plan. She would place herself on the closet tree possible the trap, and as soon at the beast came to view, her dagger will be in its head. She'll make Xerxes busy with the beast, and she'll tell him to take it back to their camp as she took care of the Sky boy. Xerxes will probably want to make sure she actually killed him but she'll come up with another excuse, but really she would take him to a nearby healer. Then, she would make sure the boy was healed enough to go back to his people.

The woman chewed up the red seaweed before smearing some onto the open chest wound, then covered the seaweed with the moss, again. The Sky boy lowly groaned in pain. "You need to leave him alone. The beast will take care of him."

"No. I'm not going to let the beast kill him." Xerxes groaned. The woman was being too sympathetic toward the Sky People.

"Don't be so softhearted." He said. The sound movement in the distance caught their attention and they hurried up the trees.

The Sky boy began to moan loudly in pain attracting the other Sky People towards him. "Jasper!" The yellow haired girl yelled out towards the injured boy. "Oh my god!"

"Clarke, be careful." The long haired boy warned her, but Clarke continued to walk toward Jasper. Clarke's entire body began to fall into the spike pit until a dark shaggy haired man gripped onto her forearm. The man seemed hesitant whether he would help her up. He wouldn't let her drop, would he? He couldn't do that to his own people?

The long haired boy shouted for the others to help Clarke up. Once they helped her up, their concern went back to Jasper tied up on the tree. They started cutting away at Jasper's bondages as they somehow came to the conclusion, that Xerxes and the woman were capturing them and not food. A few of them tensed up at the thought and hurried to release Jasper from the tree.

The Tree People heard the ruffling of the leaves before the Sky People did. The black beast camouflaged itself under the bushes. The tree woman swiftly but cautiously moved down branch to branch to get to the beast before it could attack any of the Sky People. She hung dangerously low from one of the lower branches; it was the closest to the Sky People. The Tree Woman was great at hunting, she knew how to camouflage herself perfectly against nearly any animal, but she was dealing with both humans and animals.

The beast let out a deep growl, this time grabbing the attention of the Sky people. "What the hell was that?" The long, haired boy asked.

"Grounders?" The shaggy haired man suggested. Grounders? That's what they call them?

The beast erupted a louder snarl as it crawled under the green leaves. The Tree woman quickly reached for her dagger and prepared to aim at the head of the black beast. It came in to view of the Sky People and panic rose among them. "Bellamy, gun!" Clarke shouted at the shaggy haired man. The beast sprinted towards the Sky people but the tree women was ready to take her shot, until a loud boom echoed in the air.

The sudden sound caused the woman to lose focus of her target, but she rapidly rose from her position and swiftly moved across the trees. "Come back!" Xerxes hissed after her. Another boom sound occurred and it wounded the beast but it didn't kill it. The beast moved under the leaves again. Another boom ricocheted in the air. The woman could see the beast take its stance to pounce and she refocused her aim.

The beast roared as it flew into the air but not before the woman threw her dagger aiming straight for the beasts' head. The beast landed slump on the ground at Bellamy's feet. "Grounders!" The booming sound continued, this time not toward the beast, but toward the trees where the Tree People hid. The woman climbed up the tree trying to avoid the bullets at all cost. The bullets followed her way up the tree and one finding its way in the woman's right shoulder.

The woman lost her grip on the branch above making her to fall to the ground. The woman's head collided with the Earth on her down fall. Her vision becoming hazy and forming small black spots. The woman heard the voices of the Sky People as they neared her. She tried to get up and run. She was a Trikru warrior but all she could see were the trees becoming more and more hazy, until eventually, her vision became black.

"His pulse is three-eighty." The Grounder heard Clarke say. She could also hear Jasper continuously moaning out in pain. As a result, a lot of the kids began to complain and insult Jasper in the distance. The Grounder rapidly blinked her eyes trying to refocus her vision. She could tell she was being kept inside the metal containment the Sky People landed in. The Grounder saw the familiar yellow haired girl, Clarke, nursing over a pale limp body. "Don't listen to them. You're gonna make it through this, okay? Promise."

The Grounder looked down at her tied feet in front and she could feel the rope against wrist as they're tied behind her. She twisted her hands to test the strength of the rope but only resulted in a sharp pain coming from her right shoulder. The Grounder involuntarily groaned in pain but it was fortunately masked by Jaspers loud moans. "Can he just die already?" Another kid said.

"I'm gonna get clean water. Keep an eye on him...." Clarke looked over at the Grounder and realized she was awake. "and her." She said to another shaggy haired boy, expect his hair was more slick and completely straight. Clarke walked over to the open shaft and climbed down the ladder.

It had taken Clarke awhile to returned back with two cups of water. The only form of entertainment the Grounder had was the staring competition between the straight haired boy and hearing the moaning from Jasper. "Here, Monty." She handed the straight haired boy the cup. Monty hurriedly tried to make Jasper drink the water but he only moaned in response.

Clarke walked over to the Grounder without hesitation. She crouched down in front of her and offered the woman the other cup of water. The Tree Woman kept her mouth shut and she nodded at Clarke to drink it first. Clarke lifted an eyebrow and the woman nodded her head at the water, again. "Oh." Clarke said before taking a sip of the water; the woman waited a few minutes for any signs of poison. "You see, it's good water."

Clarke offered the water again, this time the woman took a few sips at time. Clarke reached into her jacket pocket pulling out a wrapped, cooked meat. Only then, had the hunger set in for the Grounder. Nearly, two days without a proper meal.

Clarke, learning from the water, took a reasonable bite of the meat before offering the rest to the woman. "Hey, I'm just going to check on you, okay" Clarke said before holding a finger up in front of the woman's eyes. She followed Clarke's finger to the left and then to the right. "They're good." She nodded and gave a thumbs up. "I'm gonna check your shoulder." She pointed to the Grounder's right shoulder then went to move the Grounder's jacket out the way, but she moved it back so Clarke couldn't touch it. "Your shoulder," Clarke pointed to her own shoulder. "I need to make sure it's good." Clarke tried.

The Grounder, again, jerked her shoulder back when Clarke tried to reach out again. Clarke sighed in defeat. "Fine but if you don't let me check it it might worse. It could get infected." She informed the Grounder. "You should at least get some sleep." Clarke stood up and went back to treating Jasper.

The Grounder didn't get much sleep for the past two nights. She was on high alert of the Sky People and the constant moaning from Jasper helped her stay awake, along with the commotion from the rest of the other Sky People. "The Grounder cauterized the wound. Saved his life." Clarke stated. The long haired boy stared at the Grounder and she stared back at him.

"Saved his life so they could string him up for live bait. Garden of Eden this ain't." He said. What the hell was a garden of Eden? She shook her head of the question and she started to think of a plan on how to escape from their base. They took her daggers away and they had her hands tightly tied behind her back. It didn't help that the Sky People had nothing in her reach or anything that can be remotely used as a weapon. And she only left the ship blind folded, hands still tied, and at night with two guards to use the bathroom. So for now, she was going to have to wait it out and try to untie herself in the meantime.

A dark toned boy with short dark hair climbed up the ladder. He hovered over Clarke nursing Jasper. "How is he doing?" He asked.

"How does he look like he's doing, Wells." Clarke answered clearly irritated with him.

"Hey, I'm just trying to help." Wells said.

"You want to help?" Clarke held a knife in her hands and began to sanitize it with fire. "Hold him down." Wells and the long haired boy began to hold his limbs down.

"I'm not going to like this, am I?" Monty said reluctantly held his legs down. Clarke started to cut the infected flesh away making Jasper scream out in pain. The three boys were doing their best job at keeping Jasper still but he kept moving his body.

"Hold him still. I need to cut away the infected flesh." Soon, the small area was starting to become more crowded with people.

"Stop it! You're killing him!" The first Sky girl shouted as she ran to Jasper side.

"She's trying to save his life."

"She can't." Bellamy say. "All thanks to that Grounder bitch over here." Bellamy inched his way closer to the woman, they kept each other gaze with each step he took closer to her. "Maybe we should take off all that paint. See how you really look under there."

"Back off." Wells said. "First, she probably doesn't even know what your saying, and second, she's the only one who knows anything about living down here. Plus, she saved your life."

"And for that she should be rewarded?" He argued back.

"This isn't about her. This is about Jasper." The long haired boy intervened.

"We didn't drag him through miles of wood just to let him die." Clarke stated. She was truly trying her best to keep him alive. Bellamy and Clarke continued to argue over Jaspers life: Bellamy believing he is useless while Clarke believe he's worth saving.

"....He's been like this for three days. If he's not better my tomorrow, I'll kill him myself." Bellamy said. "Octavia, let's go." He called out to her.

"I'm staying here." Octavia objected. Bellamy left with one last glare at the tree woman.

"Let's see if your Grounder bitch saves him now." He said stepping down below. With that being said, everyone turned their head to the Tree Woman. Clarke knew she could help a lot. Hell, she must care for them a little if she had saved Bellamy from the beast and didn't let Jasper completely die. But, Clarke knew she was putting too much hope in woman who tried to kill them a day ago.
