《Field Trip to the Avenger's Compound》A Day at the Compound

This chapter basically sets the story up. You don't have to read this for the story, but it explains things :)
"Good morning Miss Rogers! Star-Spangled Dad and Metal Dad made breakfast and would like for me to inform you that everything is ready." FRIDAY announces and wakes you up from your sleep.
You chuckle to yourself at the nicknames you told FRIDAY to call your dads by. Looking over at your clock it reads 8:30 am. Dang. Peter probably won't like waking up early on a Sunday. You thought to yourself.
"Peter is gonna get a nice wake-up call," you murmur to yourself.
Although you're very tired, you hop off of your bed and scurry like a mouse to Peter's room. You stop in the bathroom and fill up a cup full of ice-cold water. Running down the hall like a madwoman, you stop at Peter's room and slowly creep the door open. Making sure to not make any noise, you sneak to Peter's bed and dump the whole cup of water on him.
"(Y/n) I really like you", I say quietly. She looks up from her desk, "What". She heard me with her damn enhanced hearing. "I like you. A lot," I say louder this time. (Y/n) looks at me directly with her beautiful (e/c) eyes and says, "I...
My dream is interrupted by getting drenched with ice-cold water. I look up and see (Y/n) looking at me laughing like the maniac she is.
I shoot up in my bed very awake and express, "FRIDAY could have woken me up!"
"But this was sooooo much better," she says back while holding back laughs.
"Yeah this is hilarious," I say stiffly while getting up from my bed to change into a dry shirt. I take my shirt off to change and (Y/n) turns beet red and turns instantly.
"Mr. Parker and Miss Rogers. Captain Rogers and Sargeant Barnes have requested your presence in the common room." FRIDAY announces in my room.
"Thanks, FRI. Tell them we'll be right there," (Y/n) turns back to me and says, "They made breakfast."
"What time is it even?" I ask sleepily.
"It's 8:45. You have a clock for a reason Pete," (Y/n) responds sarcastically. I roll my eyes and scoff. We both leave my room and walk to the elevator.
They stumble off the elevator both looking very tired. "Good morning sleepyheads," Steve announces.
"Just because you guys wake up at the crack of dawn does not mean you have to wake us up too," (Y/n) responds.
"Yeah, yeah. Peter, why's your hair wet?" Bucky asks with a puzzled look on his face.
"Your daughter decided to give me a wonderful wake-up call this morning," Peter answered while staring down (Y/n).

Steve, Bucky, and (Y/n) start laughing. Peter pouts and sits down at the table. The four wait for the rest of the Avengers to enter the common room. Steve decided that they must always wait for everyone to arrive to eat. He's a bit old-fashioned. One by one they all trickle in. Clint, always being late, drags himself across the kitchen to the table. Everyone makes some small talk. Some are a bit salty that Steve and Bucky woke them up this early.
You look around at your family and are so grateful for having them. If they would have never rescued you from the evils of HYDRA, you'd probably still be a murderer. Or worse. Dead
Flashback
"Steve. I ran a test on her DNA and you'll never believe what I found," Bruce says in awe.
"What? Is she alright?" Steve asks curiously looking into the room where the 10-year-old girl was resting.
"Yes, she is fine. Just look at my computer," Bruce says hastily.
Steve walks over to the computer and his eyes widen in shock.
"How is this possible? I-I just thought the last name was a coincidence," Steve stammers while panicking inside.
Bruce explains, "I think HYDRA got a hold of your blood somehow and... made her."
A lightbulb turned on in Steve's head and he rushed to go find Bucky.
"Buck. R-remember how you knew a little girl while you were in HYDRA," Steve asks promptly.
"Yeah. How did you remem-"
"Was her name (Y/n) by any chance?"
Bucky's eyes widen and say, "Did you find her?"
Steve nods and the two go like lightning back to Bruce's lab. Bruce looks up at the two super-soldiers in confusion. Bucky explains how she was like a daughter to him and how she has powers that don't show up in her DNA. Bruce and Steve look at him in confusion. He discloses that she has similar powers to Loki and Wanda. She has the power to teleport, make illusions of herself/people/objects, energy manipulation (like Wanda's magic but black instead of red), and the super-soldier serum powers. Bruce nods and says,
"You know I told her about you. Well, what I remembered of you," Bucky chuckles.
Steve looks at his husband and laughs along.
"I hope she likes me," Steve says nervously.
"Trust me. She is almost an exact replica of you." Steve laughs at Bucky's comment and says, "If she's anything like me... we're in for some trouble."
End of Flashback
You smile to yourself when you hear Thor's booming laugh laughing at God knows what.
"Will you be quiet you big oaf! Father could hear you from how loud you're being," Loki scolds Thor.
Thor shrugs in response and continues eating the many pancakes your dads made.

I look over at (Y/n) beaming and I smile to myself. Man, I wish I could tell her how I feel. But of course, I'm too terrified of rejection and what happened with my past "girlfriend", Liz. We won't talk about that. My smile fades a bit thinking about how she probably doesn't like me.
"Underoos, why the long face?" my mentor, Tony Stark, asks face full of pancakes.
"I'm just tired," I respond.
"My lovely wake-up call didn't wake you up enough?" (Y/n) asks while breaking into a fit of laughs.
The team, confused, questions her laughter. She goes into full detail about how she woke me up this morning. I gaze at her as her eyes light up while she laughs and I smile at her.
I notice Peter looking at (Y/n) while she talks. I wish he would just ask her out already. They both like each other and it's killing everyone here that they aren't together. A lot of us have bets going on about when they will get together. I'm really hoping it's before the end of this year because if not I owe Wanda, Tony, and Clint $50. I mean they're both nerds, love movies, super smart, and obsessed with Star Wars. Why won't they get together? I'm pulled back into reality when (Y/n) finishes her story about waking Peter up and the room erupts with laughter.
I slump into my chair as everyone starts laughing. I try to hide a small smile. But I have to admit. She got me pretty good this morning.
"I only woke him up like that because last week he took all my tools in our lab and put googly eyes on them all!" (Y/n) exclaims.
I bust out laughing remembering the prank I pulled.
"It was so funny! She opened the drawer and screamed!" I said between laughs.
"It took me so long to get all the eyes off! I don't even know how you got them on every single tool I have," she half-shouted.
"I had some help," I said as I glanced at Loki. He looked at (Y/n) nervously.
She just eyed him and flatly said, "Karma's a bitch."
He nodded and went back to eating his dozens of pancakes.
"(Y/n) I have an idea for our next project in the lab," I said breaking some tension.
"What?" she asked.
"What if we made real-life lightsabers?" I suggested.
"NO!" Bucky, Steve, Pepper, and Tony all said at once before (Y/n) could respond.
"Why not?" (Y/n) and I said in sync.
"First off, they can literally kill people. And secondly, I don't want to lose any limbs!" Pepper expressed.
"I was an actual murderer for 10 years of my life. If I wanted to kill someone I would just do it!" (Y/n) argued.
"That's fair," Clint said.
"At least we got someone on our side," I said.
"Okay fine. You can make them on two conditions," Tony said.
"What?"
"One, you make them so they can't do real damage to anything."
"Okay, I was already planning on that... what's the second rule?" I ask curiously.
"You have to make one for all of us," Tony said smirking. Pepper sighed in defeat and disappointment of her man-child of a husband. We both are super excited and scarf down the rest of our pancakes.
"We'll be in the lab until they're all done!" (Y/n) said quickly before sprinting to our shared lab. I chased after her and so chaos ensued.
You and Peter charge into your conjoined lab. You notice the time is now 10:30 am. Man time flies when you're having fun.
"Let's make these sabers," you say smirking. He looks from his desk at you and smiles. His smile is so cute. Wait what? Why am I thinking about that? Do I like Peter? You think.
"Hey, are you alright?" Peter noticed your distressed face.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Just thinking about how we are going to make these," You say quickly.
"Well if we (pretend there is a logical reason lightsabers could work in real life here).. we could easily make them!" Peter explained.
"Oh! That makes total sense!" you exclaim.
"Let's do this!" Peter says happily.
(Y/n) and I finally finished all the lightsabers.
"Whew. I finished my final one!" (Y/n) said tiredly.
"I'm almost done with Mr. Stark's," I said groggily.
"You know he wants you to call him Tony. Hell, he wouldn't care if you called him dad!" she said sarcastically. We both laughed.
"Well Spidey we have to go deliver the sabers to their owners," she said sleepily. I smiled at the nickname.
"What time is it even?" I asked.
"It's 12:45 am. You have a clock for that," she smirked and I remembered our conversation from the morning.
"Hey FRIDAY? Is anyone awake?" I asked.
"None of the Avengers are awake at the moment," FRIDAY responded.
"Damn. Maybe we could leave them on the table and label who's is who's," she suggested. I nodded and we took them to the common room.
"I think we need to get some sleep. We have school tomorr- well really today," I laughed.
"Yeah I agree, but you wanna watch The Empire Strikes Back?" she asked.
"Sure. I'm always down for Star Wars," I say.
"Race ya there?" she asked while starting to run.
"Hey! That's not fair!" I yelled while chasing her. We decided to watch it in her room, so we set up the projector and started the movie.
Hey guys! This was the first chapter. It's just kinda setting the story up for the next couple of chapters. I hope you liked it!

It was a life without regret. My parents were in good health, and I wasn’t homey enough for me to combine my studies and part-time jobs. I like fantasy, martial arts, games, fiction movies, cartoons… I’m a normal high school student who likes these things. That was certainly true until ten years ago. This is not the earth. A fantasy world dominated by powerful people. Savage utopia. It is a world where you can take anything with you if you have physical strength.

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess.
