《Peter Parker field trips to SI and Avengers Compound!》The Sleepover of Doom Pt. 3

The tour had started in a room with information and artifacts from the Avengers fights. Melony began explaining something, but Peter just whispered to Karen to play his music. He'd done the tour more than a few times, he'd even gone on it. Once.........ya just once....haha.

He stood silently by Ned and MJ, just waiting for the day to be over. Oh, wait. They're supposed to be here over night. Yay.

They were aloud to roam around the room and Ned dragged Peter and MJ over to look at a Spider-Man display. It contained his first homemade suit that made Peter cringe and MJ snickered. A few videos played of some of his more heroic saves. Like when he caught that car. A couple fails also played making Peter cringe even more. Some older web shooters that Peter had discarded were also on display.

Flash continued to send his 'menacing' scowl at Peter, who didn't care. Honestly, he could care less what he thinks.

After the Museum they went up to one of the intern labs. All they did was talk to some of the interns and look at what they were working on. Peter was called over to a dozen different interns to check their work. He hated having people feel the need to get his approval for everything. All their work was perfectly fine and yet they wanted him to make sure that that was actually the case. He didn't want them to feel like they needed another's approval. He wanted them to be confident in their work. That's one of the reasons he'd stopped coming down to the interns in the first place.

Every time he got called over, his classmates would stare. Who knew teenagers his age could have such intense stares that made you want to curl up in a ball and hide from life for the next 70 some years? Oh wait, Peter did because of being bullied. How could he forget? He began wondering how his Dad dealt with it all.

Ned just rambled about how cool it was that Peter got to work, and live in the Avengers Tower. Peter mostly ignored him knowing how Ned could get when he was in Fan Boy Mode.

After that they went up to an R&D Lab. Peter hadn't realized they were on Bruce's floor until he placed a hand on Peter's shoulder. "Hey Peter. I thought you were supposed to be on a trip with the school?" Stupid spidey sense.

"Hey Un... er Dr. Banner! Apparently the trip was to here. Isn't that funny?" Peter let out a bitter laugh. Bruce gave him a sympathetic smile, knowing that Tony must've had some part in this whole thing.

Peter noticed everyone staring at him. Again. He decided to stare back this time. He had to get use to it eventually. It was hard, but he managed. Barely.

"How the hell do you know Bruce freaking Banner?" Flash's voice rang out over the silent group. Peter internally face palmed. Thankfully his Uncle didn't seem to notice the angry edge in Flash's voice or else there might've been a code green.

"Peter has worked with me plenty of times. He's one of our best interns!" Bruce smiled warmly down at Peter whose face was flushed red from the sudden compliment.

"Th-thanks, Bruce," He mumbled.

The tour continued after that. Bruce and the staff in that particular R&D Lab had come up with a test for tourists. They had to make a robot that could move forward using a remote to control it. Everyone was paired into groups of two by the teachers. Peter hoped to get placed with Ned or MJ. His luck decided to yeet that possibility to the wind by pairing Ned and MJ together instead. And of course it just had to get worse. He ended up being placed with Flash of all people!

Flash didn't waste a second, "Hey Parker, what'd you have to do to get Bruce Banner to act like he knew you?" He paused, "or Who'd you have to do?" he hissed under his breath.

"Shut up, Flash. You should've realized by now that I actually intern here." Peter shot back, ignoring Flash's last comment. Ugh, he was the worst.

Peter had already finished their robot without the help of Flash. Instead of standing next to his bully for another twenty-five minutes, he decided to go and talk with Bruce and see what he was working on. "What're you working on Uncle Bruce?" Peter asked quietly so no one would here him except his Uncle.

"Just reviewing some of the tech used on the Hulk if he goes on a rampage and no one can calm him down." Bruce sighed sadly at the thought.

"Peter, stop bothering Dr. Banner!" Mrs. Mane. yelled at him, "go and help your partner finish up the robot." She told him.

"We finished already, Mrs. Mane." Peter explained.

She just glared at him and Peter told Bruce he'd talk to him later. He went back and stood by Flash who continued to make fun of him. Peter just tuned him out and listened to his music.

That's when Flash noticed the ear plugs. He did nothing.

For now.

After everyone else finished the robots were tested. Peter's and Flash's robot came in first. MJ and Ned's came in second. And a group with the people that had come in fourth and fifth on the test, came in third.

"Okay everyone, it's now time for lunch!" Melony said leading them to the cafeteria. They all got in line to order. The menu for today consisted of garlic bread, salad, and pizza. Peter got all two of all three choices because, high metabolism and all.

He sat down with Ned and MJ at a table in the corner. He had his back to everyone. He listened to Ned ramble on and on about how great the tour, he's been on multiple times, was. He was so invested in his food that he didn't notice Flash coming up behind him until his Spider Sense warned him a moment to late.

Flash grabbed Peter's ear plugs and ripped them out of his ears. Peter went to grab his arm, just missing Flash as he jumped away. "What are these, Parker? Hearing aids?" He laughed before dropping them on the ground and crushing them with his foot. Peter got an alert from Karen on his sunglasses telling him the ear pieces were no longer connected. No duh, Karen. No duh.

Instead of doing something Peter just turned back around and continued eating. The noise in the cafeteria became much louder. He usually tried to remove them in a quiet area so it wouldn't be such a large shock to his enhanced hearing. This was a crowded cafeteria full of noise making him flinch. Constantly.

Flash noticed, "what's wrong Penis? Oh wait, you probably can't hear me!" He laughed obnoxiously. Before returning to his lone table, he dumped the remnants of my ear buds onto my food.

Ugh.

Peter could already feel a huge migraine forming. He decided to try and sneak away to go get another pair.

He quickly told Ned and MJ what he was doing and they said they'd cover for him.

He quickly started towards the private elevator that would take him to the Avengers living quarters and main living space. This took up four floors in total.

Sadly he felt his spidey sense go off and then Mrs. Mane was in front of him. Damn, he was so close. "Where do you think you're going, Mr. Parker?" She glared down at him. Her terribly pointy red heels made her a few inches taller than him.

"To the bathroom?" He basically asked, his lying skills weren't that good.

He had such a huge headache at this point, he didn't need another stressful and loud encounter.

"The bathroom is in the other direction," Mrs. Mane pointed behind him to the other end of the cafeteria. "I thought you of all people would know at least that much." She smirked at him.

Peter just sighed and returned to his seat, resting his head on the cool table. Ned and MJ exchanged worried expressions. They had a silent conversation and then Ned pulled out his earbuds and put them in front of Peter, who looked up and thanked Ned gratefully. He plugged them into his phone and began listening to some music.

It didn't help much, but it was better than nothing. Sighing he laid his head back down on the table and closed his eyes focusing on the sound of the music.

Lunch finished soon after. Melony began leading them into the elevator and began explaining what they would be doing now. Peter could hear her despite his attempt at zoning out of life for a few minutes. His day was just getting worse and worse. They were on their way to an Avengers training room that Peter new would be in use.

He was, of course, right.

They were in a cramped viewing area looking through a large window that revealed all the Avengers, Bucky, and Loki training. Wanda and Loki were practicing lifting and attacking things with their magic. Loki was more so helping Wanda more than anything, they had a sort of father daughter relationship. Steve and Bucky were sparring using weapons. They seemed to be on pretty even ground. Natasha and Clint were sparring on the other side of the room without weapons. Clint was losing. Sam was flying around the room obviously showing off. Thor seemed to be secretly following Sam with his unbroken hammer, he liked to randomly drop it on peoples chest. Tony and Bruce were both watching everyone from the sidelines. The room was full of weapons and different devices and things made especially for the Avengers enhanced strength and skills.

Everyone in Peter's class was practically yelling at each other at how cool everyone was. It was NOT helping Peter's head one bit. Ned noticed this and stopped yelling, though he still looked about ready to jump onto the ceiling regardless of the fact he didn't have awesome spider powers.

Peter stood as far away from the window as he could. He prayed that they'd leave and go some where else soon. Surprisingly that prayer was answered, "okay everyone!" Melony clapped her hands for attention. Peter let out a small happy sigh. Unsurprisingly his relief didn't last long. "It's time for a Q&A with the one and only Avengers!"

Peter's shoulders immediately slumped. This trip would be the death of him. The class began to chatter excitedly about how they were about to meet THE Avengers. Peter really needed to get another set of sound cancelling ear buds before he had an overload. Today wasn't the best day to have them broken. This morning when he woke up he could tell his senses were dialed up more. That meant a sensory overload.

They gathered into a large conference room where the Avengers already sat waiting for them. How they got there before the class was a mystery.

Peter sat as far to the back as he could, forcing Ned to sit in front of him in an attempt to hide. MJ just watched him with a slight smirk knowing his efforts were futile.

"Hello, Midtown Tech! I'm sure you know who we all are so I won't waste anytime with introductions." Tony scanned the group, and Peter knew he was doomed when he locked eyes with his Dad. "Oh, hello Peter! I didn't know your field trip was here." He said innocently.

For the millionth time today all eyes were on Peter. "I know you planned this D-To-errr Mr.stark." Peter said grimacing at his close mistake. That would've caused an uproar and lots of questions.

His Dad simply chuckled, "what would ever make you think that, Pete?" He smirked.

Peter just shook his head. Wanda, Bruce, Loki, Steve, and Bucky sent him sympathetic smiles knowing how Tony can be. Everyone else had evil smirks on their faces letting Peter know they had planned something. Except for Natasha, she just gave him the hint of a smile anyone else would think was just a straight face.

Before anyone had time to question the sudden conversation between the two, Tony started the Q&A. "Alright kiddies, ask away!"

Immediately nearly everyone's hands shot into the air. Most people asked Loki and Thor questions about Asgard and things about their life and powers. One girl asked if they were single. After that most questions got directed towards Tony, Bruce, and Wanda. No one dared ask Natasha or Bucky a question. Sam and Clint just didn't really interest the class. this made Peter smirk a little as the two of them glared down at him.

The last question was directed towards Tony, "do you have any teen interns?" Peter heard Flash ask.

"Well actually, yes, I have one teen intern. You all should know him, he is sitting in this very room with you. I thought he told you." Tony responded with a slight frown that he quickly hid with his paparazzi smile.

Peter sent a death glare towards Tony as a few kids began whispering about how they had thought he'd just wanted attention. And, once again, he was stared at by his peers. It felt like they were trying to tear his soul to pieces. His anxiety was not helping at all.

Flash and Mrs. Mane simply glared at him, neither seemed to approve of this newfound information. Thankfully they didn't voice their disapproval.

The Avengers noticed this and all seemed to make a silent agreement. They had had a feeling Peter was being bullied, and now they think they might've found the culprits.

"Okay everyone, it is now 5:00pm and time for you all to have dinner. Since you are special little kiddies you get to have a feast of pizza and soda with us upstairs in our private living area!" Tony announced. An irruption of cheers filled the group making Peter flinch from the sudden noise.

That didn't get passed Bucky or Natasha who both noted his use of actual earbuds instead of his special ones. They locked eyes for a split second knowing exactly what they each needed to do. Bucky slipped into the shadows and headed up to Peter's room to get him another pair. He had a lot because he wasn't exactly the best at keeping things from breaking. Natasha silently went over to Peter as the group listened to Tony give some rules.

She draped an arm across his shoulders and took him to the far corner away from the group. She quickly explained that Bucky was getting him another pair and asked what happened to the ones she was sure he'd been wearing earlier that day.

Peter simply shrugged in reply which made his Aunt Nat give him the tell-the-truth-or-suffer-look. She could be scary and always knew when someone was lying. Peter quickly told her, "ummm, a kid named Eugene Thompson ripped them out of my ears and stepped on them." He pointed at Flash and Natasha nodded, a deadly dark look appeared on her face.

"Has he been bullying you?" She hissed. Looking at Peter's nervous face gave her all the answers she needed.

Peter saw the look she was sending Flash and quickly intervened, "No killing anyone, Aunt Nat!" He quickly scolded.

"Who are we killing?" Bucky asked, appearing beside Peter.

"No one!" Peter glared at him.

"Eugene Thompson," Natasha pointed at Flash. Bucky didn't even need an explanation before he began wearing the same deadly dark expression as the Black Widow.

"Guys, no." Peter told them, "Killing him is illegal! He's only a dumb kid trying to be 'cool.' Do I have to give the Don't Kill People Speech, again?"

"Oh don't worry we won't kill him," Natasha said.

"Only mess with him," Bucky insisted.

Peter just sighed. He knew they were going to have a long family chat about why he didn't tell anyone earlier. There is no way he can keep them from telling the others if they don't already know somehow.

Everyone began leaving and Peter quickly slipped on his specially made ear buds with a quick thanks to Bucky. He rushed over to the group before they could realize he was talking to some of the Avengers. He gave Ned back his ear phones. A notification on his glasses told him that the new pair of ear buds was now connected again.

Everything became more bearable and his headache began to fade.

Now all he had to do was keep Flash from dying, people from finding out his true identity as Peter Stark, and try to keep his Dad and the others from embarrassing him.

This was going to be fun.
