since the bridge blew up, knowing the eventually the grounders will come back. Bellamy increased watches around the clock, as they waited for the inevitable attack. Anastasia found herself on watch rarely but sometimes she would, as she watched the higher elevations on the lookout. She had nothing else to do. She watched out into the distance, wondering what they have discovered and what was still unknown to them. It seem never ending, and somewhere in the forest was the grounder's villages.

"Anything?" Bellamy asked coming up behind her scaring her because she didn't hear him approaching, "Woah, calm down?" He said settling her down. Anastasia took a deep breath before shaking her head "no"

"It's been two days" she stated, "maybe the bomb at the bridge scared them off"

"You believe that" Bellamy questioned, Anastasia shook her head again,

"No" she uttered, "they're coming" she added with fear in her voice as she felt Bellamy's eyes on her, she could even feel when they soften.

"Jasper thinks he can cook up some more gunpowder" Bellamy said turning around as he headed down the hill, Anastasia turned to follow him, "if he gets some sulfur, and Raven says she can turn that into landmines" he explained as Anastasia watched her footing as she stepped down the steep hill, "so be careful where you step" Bellamy added noticing her looking at her feet. She turned to him smiling, as she reached the end of the hill.

"Haha, funny" she sarcastically remarked as they were split by a tree, reuniting side by side.

"What I really need is 1,000 more of her tin can bombs" he said slowing his pace by a little bit as he was in thought, "i can roll into their village and blow those grounders to hell" Anastasia gave him a side glance stopping slightly feeling uncomfortable by his comment, "that's what they want to do to us" he defended himself

Anastasia shook her head in confusion, "can't believe we survived 100 years just so we could slaughter each other" she scoffed, "there has to be another way" her face riddled with disappointment and guilt

"Any word from the Ark?" Bellamy questioned

"Radio silence" she answered thinking about her father

"Finally ran out of air" he stated

"Maybe my dad got lucky" she said, knowing no matter what he had put her through she didn't wish oxygen deprivation on him, "at least it was quick" she added, "no one is coming to save us" she looked up to Bellamy as they shared the same worrying look. Anastasia continued the trek inside meeting Clarke at the gate as she stayed in the main camp ground nowadays.

"Anything?" Clarke asked seeing Anastasia returned, she quickly shook her head "no".

Anastasia found herself in the drop ship, as she took out the journal she has been hiding from everyone since the day they came back from the depot. She took one of the empty notebooks from the desk, stuffing it in her pockets as they were grabbing supplies. Since they had gotten back she hasn't had time to use it, with everything going on. She hasn't even written in it scared to ruin the fragile paper, she wouldn't even know what to write with she didn't take a pencil or a pen with her. Anastasia didn't take the notebook because she wanted to write in it, she just wanted something to herself.

"Fire!" She heard screamed from outside the drop ship, Anastasia shoved the book back into her hiding spot, tucking it safely before ruining out into the heat of the uncontrollable flames. People were already working on putting it out as she saw Bellamy on the other side watching the boys throw water onto the fire. It wasn't until the fire was mostly extinguished that she recognized what it was, the smoke house.

"Okay, everybody keep your distance!" Bellamy shouted after the fire was put out, she kneeled in front of the ashes of the burnt building as the observers flocked in other directions.

"Any idea what happened?" Anastasia asked approaching him, her eyes focused on the burnt structure that added gloom to the camp

"Murphy says Del kept feeding the fire" Bellamy stated as he looked at the ruin spread crossed the ground, "mostly because Octavia told him it was a bad idea" he added with a hurt tone as he drop a piece of burnt wood to the ground

"And we believe Murphy?" Anastasia asked almost jokingly, but her mood change when Bellamy's serious eyes filtered to hers.

"Yeah" He replied seriously, "I do"

"Okay" Anastasia replied, "We have wild onions and nuts in the drop ship" she explained, "it's only enough to last us maybe one or two weeks" she looked around the ash land, "What's left here?"

"Nothing" Bellamy bellowed out, "it all burned"

"Then we have to hunt" Anastasia proposed, "Anyone we can spare goes out" Bellamy shook his head "no" standing up to walk to her.

"The whole grounder army out there?" He questioned pointing to the gate meaning what lays beyond the gate.

"We can't defend ourselves if we're starving" she replied

"Fine" he reluctantly answered, "Everyone who is not working report to the drop ship for orders!" Bellamy screamed out getting the others attention as he stomped to the drop ship waiting for the rest to arrive. Anastasia took one look back at the grey ash structure before following Bellamy into the drop ship as the most of the unoccupied kids flooded into the drop ship, "Each group take a gun, and they're for killing grounders, not food!" Bellamy yelled as many people began grouping up to go hunting, "we don't have the ammo, use the spears for hunting" he explained as many of of the people in the camp had already started to make their way out of the drop ship, "Get what you can, be back by nightfall, no one stays out after dark" Anastasia nodded to Bellamy as the drop ship began to clear up.

"Hey, Anastasia" she heard a chirpy voice call her, her head tilted to the side to see one of the boys that she had seen around the camp, "You alone?" He asked when she turned her head towards him, "You maybe want to go together?"

"Um" Anastasia began

"She's not going hunting Myles" Bellamy replied to him

"Oh" he answered anxiously nodding his head, "yeah, yeah" he repeated, "that makes sense" he walked away, nervously

"I'm not going hunting" she questioned Bellamy, "what else am i going to do?"

"if the Ark starts communicating I want you to answer, and that's why you're not going" he said before walking out of the drop ship leaving her there. Anastasia couldn't wait for the hunters to come back, the hours felt like eternities as she sat there watching the radio. Monty was messing with the pieces they could find from the Exodus ship.

"Hey, Monty!" Raven yelled walking into the drop ship, "Think if I got all the supplies me and you could make walkies?"

"Yeah, definitely, with the stuff we have laying around" he responded positively as Raven smiled back at him turning away promptly. He began messing with the pieces once again.

"Monty?" Anastasia questioned getting his attention, "What are you doing?" she asked the boy confused by his fiddling.

"Savaging what is left from the wreck" he explained, nodding his head to the pile of scrap metal the laid in front of him. He continued tinkering, Anastasia absently nodded back her eyes trailing off. Monty noticed this stiffening back up, "Now are you going to tell me what's going on with you?"

"Huh?" Anastasia was taken by the question, "Nothing, I'm just not used to being cooped up" she shook her head.

"I found some good antenna wire for the radios" Raven said, "Am i interrupting something" she added stopping in her stop

"No" Anastasia replied

"Some guy was using it to fix his bed" she finished chuckling a little bit, "you find anything else from the Exodus ship wreckage?"

"Yeah, data log" Monty replied, "Want to hear something weird?" He asked as he moved his hand creating the same static sound rang through the ship again

"Sounds like interference" Raven replied factly

"Just wait" Monty said, holding his hand up "It gets weirder" as the pitch got higher the further he moved it up the box, "when the signal hit, their nav system went nuts" he stated, "they never got it back and then....boom" he emphasized softly, "it's like something was jamming the signals"

"That is weird" Raven replied, "it also makes no sense whatsoever" she added, before her face turned uninterested, "now, pull the drive-in speakers"

"You want to strip it?" Monty questioned concerned,

"Wait, we'll never find out where they crashed, if we do that" Anastasia added

"We need every component we can to get our hands on if we're gonna make walkies" she stated, Raven's eyes drifting over, around the room, "and I need the radio" she said walking over to it

"No way!" Anastasia shouted knocking her hand away from it, "How are we supposed to contact the Ark?" Raven stared at her face dull-eyes as she turned it on, static raining through the drop ship.

"The Ark is not there" Raven stated, flipping the radio off, "You're listening to a hole in the sky"

"Hey" Monty objected, "My family is up there" Raven looked at him a spilt second,

"I'm sorry" she said yanking the wires out of the radio cutting off contact with the Ark permanently. Monty groaned, his hand reaching out for the severed wire.

Anastasia eyes filtered towards the opening as shouts from the people who stayed at camp mixed in with more, the hunters were back, she thought rushing out. She watched them pile in, looking for Clarke to return, but as the final of them pile in Clarke was no where to be found. The hunters dropped what the could find in a pile as the meat packers started preparing it, it wasn't much but it could sustain them till the grounders attacked.

"Hey" Anastasia said walking up to a ground of guys who went out hunting, "Have you seen Clarke at all?" She asked watching them all shake their head "no" constantly.

She was now getting worried, Clarke wasn't stupid, and she understood the danger that nightfall in the forest meant. She wouldn't voluntarily stay outside of the camp after nightfall if she didn't have too which only meant one, two, or three ways, she got hurt, Finn got hurt, or she was taken. Those three things floated back into her mind, over and over again like a replaying movie.

She imagined Clarke, being in the situation that she was in trapped, chained, scared that a moist cave was the last thing she was going to see. She knew she needed to find Clarke, but she couldn't do it alone, "Where's Bellamy?" She asked the same group of boys that were still sitting by the fire as they pointed in the direction of his tent, which confused her how he could sleep without knowing that all of his men were back. She walked towards it, pushing past the fabric, "Bell," she stopped when she caught the messy appearance of Raven, as the look was copied in Bellamy.

"Oh, shit" Bellamy cursed, gripping his clothes as Anastasia turned back around gripping her chest walking away quickly.

She felt like the air had been stolen from her, and the more she tried to breathe the harder it got as her lungs began to collapse on her. She had no clue where she was headed all she knew she had to get as far away from Bellamy as possible.

Her feet instinctively stopped when she found herself standing in front of Wells grave, the flowers that Clarke had set there wilted a long time ago, as they still laid upon the top of his grave. She brought herself her because right now, with Clarke missing, Octavia somewhere unknown, she only had Wells left to turn to. She feel down in front of his grave just taking the cold air, noticing the spilt peace she had just taking in the area around her.

"You know how I feel about you outside the gate without a gun" she heard Bellamy's voice quietly say almost like he was afraid to speak at his normal tone.

"Clarke never came back" she said getting right to the point, "Neither did Finn or Myles"

"I'm sorry" He pleaded

"We need to look for them, grounders could have them"

"And we will, in the morning, just come back inside the camp" Bellamy begged

"They could be dead by the morning" she stated, blankly.

"Okay, fine, come inside and we'll get a group together to go out" Bellamy agreed, Anastasia stood up from the ground wiping the dirt off of her, before turning towards the gate. She felt the Bellamy's looming hand on her shoulder as she roughing threw it off.

"Don't ever touch me, again!" She screamed storming back off into the camp.
