to let her go along with the others as they headed to check out the crash sight of the Exodus ship. For some reason she felt compelled to go, she had to know what happened. They all left a little after dawn, trekking through the forest towards where the ship drop out of the sky into a crash. They made to the crash by midday, Anastasia stood in shock as she saw the ground burned beneath, as the remains of the burning ship spread across the tarnish ground.
She walked down the hill following Bellamy as she looked along the ground seeing charred bodies laid around, burnt beyond recognition. Anastasia stood speechless as she knelt down to the bones, her chest weighing on her, as she looked around the rest of the scorched land. Her breath hitched as she scanned the area.
"What could have gone wrong?" She whispered to herself hovering over the black bones, as the sun beat down.
"Stay sharp" Bellamy urged as he walked around the sight staying near Anastasia, watching over her, "Grounder retaliation for what happened on the bridge is coming, just a matter of when"
"Can you blame them?" Finn retorted rudely as him and Raven rummaged through the remains of the Exodus ship.
"No, I blame you" Bellamy replied keeping his gun tucked up his arm.
"Maybe if you didn't bring guns" Finn snapped back at him
"If we didn't bring guns, we all would've been killed!" Raven bite at Finn, defending Bellamy.
"Why they're coming doesn't matter anymore" Bellamy stated, "It's our job to be ready when they do, we're on our own now" He said scanning the crash yard. Anastasia took a deep breath standing up looking away towards something else than the bones.
"Clarke!" Anastasia turned her head over as Raven screamed, "Stop!" She added running towards Clarke, as Clarke slowly back away from one of the rockets that carried the ship. Anastasia watched as Raven examined the the rocket she couldn't see what they were looking at.
"Fire in the hole!" Raven shouted as she chucked a rock, instantly where she threw it, an explosion erupted causing a ball of fire to float up, Anastasia was take back as she felt the heat on her face, "We need to clear this area" she said as Bellamy nodded in agreement.
"Okay then" Bellamy breath out, "We move in formation, no straggling, weapons hot" he explain looking at at the others behind him, the began to come down, as did Clark and Raven, "We got to get back before dark" the group got into a line and continued back to the camp keeping a slow pace as the kept careful watch on the surroundings as they made their way. The day suddenly turned into dark and that's when Anastasia began to realize the areas near the camp. Soon they could see the light from the burning posts along the opening of the camp.
"Bellamy!" One of the kids standing by the gate screamed as he saw the group walk in. He ran up to him suddenly, "Murphy's back", Bellamy pushed through the kid, as he ran into the camp.
"Where is he!" Bellamy screamed in a rage pushing past the fabric of the drop ship, Anastasia walked in as she was meant with a horrific scene. Murphy's face was basically unrecognized with blood running down his face as one of his eyes could barely opening, as the blood clumped up on his face, "Everyone but Connor and Derek out" he stated, "Now!" He shouted powerfully as the others finally left that were standing by the opening on the drop ship.

"He claims he was with the grounders" Derek said as he looked down on Murphy, "we caught him trying to sneak back into camp"
"I wasn't sneaking" Murphy sneered back, "I was running from from the grounders" he explained slowly
Anyone see grounders?" Bellamy asked the two boys, they simultaneously shook their heads "no".
"Well in that case" Bellamy said pulling his gun out aiming it at Murphy, his face was focused as he stared at him with a killer's look.
"Hey!" Finn screamed slapping Bellamy's gun off of Murphy, "what the hell is wrong with you"
"We were clear what would happen if he came back" Bellamy replied moving his gun back to Murphy
"No!" Finn shouted stepping in front of Murphy, in between Murphy and the barrel of Bellamy's gun, "if he was with the grounders, then he knows things that can help us"
"Help us?" Bellamy questioned angrily, "we hanged him, we banished him, and now we're going to kill him" He stated propping his gun up towards Murphy, "Get the hell out of my way!" He shouted at Finn.
"No, Finn is right" Clarke stated running to his side
"Like hell, he is" Bellamy shouted as Clarke took a seat next to Murphy, "Clarke, think about Charlotte"
"I am thinking about her" Clarke said examining Murphy's wounds, "but what happened to Charlotte, was as much as our fault as his"
"Ana, come look at this" Clarke said holding up his hand, for her to see. She began to make her way over to Clarke who's kneeling by Murphy, she felt a hand grip her wrist pulling her back. Anastasia looked up to see Bellamy shaking his head "no" as he held onto her wrist.
"I'll be fine, he can't do anything" She said touching his hand, squeezing it as it let her go, she made her way over to Clarke as she took Murphy's hand from Clarke. Clarke pointed at his fingertips as she looked at them it was hard to see from all the blood, but she saw what she was pointing too, "He's not lying" She breathed out, noticing the blood on her hands, she took a deep gulp before proceeding, "His fingertips were torn off, the tortured him" Anastasia uttered looking at his distressed face.
"You and the grounders should share notes" Finn joked towards Bellamy,
"The grounders know we're at war" Bellamy stated, "What did you tell them about us?" Bellamy questioned Murphy.
"Everything" Murphy answered anonymously as he stared straight in shock. Anastasia stood up, walking towards Bellamy
"Once he's better, we find out what he knows" She said to him, "and then he's out of here, okay?" She said catching a glance of Murphy as she walked towards the opening of the drop ship.
"What if he refuses to leave?" Bellamy asked turning towards her, "what do we with him them?"
Anastasia stared at Murphy, reliving everything he has done to her, trying to force off her wristband the first night, trying to kill her and Wells, and using her as leverage against Charlotte. She looked into his eyes imagining the day he stared at her with the knife in his hands, as she stood in front of Wells. His face was murderous rage, and she couldn't displace that feeling. His mischievous smirk played over in her mind, as she placed in over his blooded and stalled face.
"We kill him" she replied with no emotion, pushing the fabric back as walking out of the drop ship. Her feet began walking back to her tent

"Ana!" She heard Clarke scream after her, "Anastasia!" Clarke yelled grabbing hold her shoulder, stopping her.
"What?" She questioned her turning back.
"Kill him?" Clarke questioned, "that isn't like you"
"That's what we all agreed to the night we banished him, we're following through" Anastasia stated coldly
"This isn't about our stupid threat, you didn't care, this is about what he did to you" Clarke replied in a accusing tone, Anastasia huffed at her response throwing her head up, "Ana, he's one of our own, and we need him against the grounders"
"Clarke he tried to kill me, and Wells" Anastasia replied, "He doesn't deserve our forgiveness!" She screamed at Clarke
"Is that your words or Bellamy's" Clarke accused Anastasia, "You're a great leader" she said sympathetically towards Anastasia, "when you lead with you head and not your heart"
"I'm leading with both" Anastasia replied, "my heart, and my head, and both of them are saying he doesn't deserve a second chance no matter what happened to him with the grounders"
"I just think you should think about this" Clarke said, "Just think about it and you can make your decision later, okay?"
"Okay" Anastasia replied before turning back around, to her tent, where Octavia was already sleeping in her bed, pass out, not noticing when Anastasia came in.
Anastasia couldn't get herself to help Murphy as she watched Clarke begin to clear him off as he would jut back in pain every once and awhile. She sat down on a box nearby focusing on her nails trying to avoid the hisses of pain that Murphy would produce.
"I'm sorry, Ana" he breath out.
"I don't need your apology" Anastasia replied not making eye contact with him, as her nails dug into her hand.
"I know....you don't" Murphy's voice was straining, "but I just wanted to"
"That won't save you"she said, standing up, "your fate has been decided" she said before walking out leaving Clarke with Murphy. She felt a wave of dizziness as she sat up, her feet felt heavy as she walk, but it as soon gone, as she made her way towards the communication room, she hoped that the others left on the Ark could explain what went wrong with the ship.
"Oh, sorry" Anastasia said seeing Raven by the radio, "i didn't know anyone was here" she said as a wave of dizziness blew over her.
"You okay?" Raven asked concerned
"Yeah" She replied nodding her head
"Still nothing from the Ark" Raven said putting her heads down on the table,"it's like they shut down from their side, i could be solar flares but"
"But you don't think so" Anastasia answered concerned
"I got a bad feeling" Raven stated
"There's a lot of that going around" Anastasia replied with a straight lip, she turned towards the exit, as she lost balance before gripping to the table.
"Ana, wait" Raven called for her, as Anastasia looked back at her, "I just wanted to let you know, umm Abby she's thought of you as a daughter, she was worried about you a lot" she said causing Anastasia to tear up, she felt something flow down her eyes, she thought they were tears until Raven called out, "Oh my god, Ana, your eyes" she called as Anastasia raised a hand to touch the liquid that was running out of her eyes, she printed a finger on it picking it up to see red, instead of clear.
"Ana! Clarke!" She heard a guy's voice call for her, "Where are they!" She ran out to see Connor with blood coming out of his mouth as he coughed it up, "Ana, it won't stop" he pleaded.
"Ana" Raven said coming out of the communications tent holding a rag out to her, "What's happening" she asked backing up as she saw Connor. Anastasia turned around away from Connor when she heard another cough as she saw Derek holding out his hand coughing into it as people ran away from him, "you okay" Raven asked trying to get closer.
"Raven, get away from us!" Anastasia shouted at her
"What?" Raven questioned confused
"They're the ones who brought Murphy in" Anastasia said before running back to the drop ship as she saw Clarke with the same symptom as herself, and Murphy coughing up blood like Derek and Connor, "Clarke, back away from Murphy" she said before sliding in front of him
"Murphy, look at me" she said after he finished coughing, "I need you to tell me exactly how you escaped from the grounders" she said as Murphy sat dazed in front of her with blood dripping from his mouth like spit, "what happened?" She asked again
"I don't know" he replied, "I woke up, and they forgot to lock my cage, and no one was there, so i took off" He replied as Anastasia fell back in shock, they set this up.
"They let you go" she uttered,
"Bellamy, stay back" she heard Clarke say, as she turned around to meet his face
"Did he do something to you?" He asked her noticing how sick she look, she looked at him nodding her head "no", "what the hell is this" he asked also taking in Clarke's and Murphy's appearance
"Biological warfare" Anastasia replied
"you were waiting for the grounders to retaliate for the bridge" Clarke said, "this is it, Murphy is the weapon"
"Is this your revenge!" Bellamy yelled at Murphy as Clarke was helping him, Anastasia was keeping her distant from both Murphy and Bellamy standing to the side, "helping the grounders kill us?"
"I didn't know about i swear" he replied back slowly with his breath hitched
"Stop lying!" Bellamy screamed back at him, "when are they coming?" Bellamy questioned
"Murphy, think, all right" Clarke said patting his wounds, she was already contaminated, so there was no reason she couldn't help him, "What can you tell us that's useful?"
"They're vicious" he said scared, "cruel"
"You want to see vicious?" Bellamy said coming at him,
"Hey!" Anastasia said standing in front of him making sure that she wasn't touching him, "don't" he stopped looking at her, "whatever this is, it spreads through contact" Finn busted through the opening going straight for Clarke.
"Clarke" he uttered before Anastasia stopped him,
"Finn, you shouldn't be here" Clarke said seeing him,
"No one should" Anastasia added looking at Bellamy.
"I heard you were sick" Finn said to Clarke concerned.
"Clarke, what is this" Finn asked looking around at the bodies laying on the ground in pain.
"I don't know" she replied shaking her head
"It's some type of hemorrhagic fever" Anastasia replied,
"We need to contain this before" Clarke began as Derek began retching hard, and convulsing Clarke and Anastasia rushed over to him, Anastasia kept her distant from Bellamy making sure he didn't touch her, while Finn grabbed Clarke's arm
"Hey, don't touch me!" She yelled at him "you could get sick, wash your hands now!" She commanded Finn. Clarke finally met Anastasia by Derek as he continued convulsing, Anastasia couldn't do anything until he stopped, she stood watching him in pain.
"What the hell is happening?" Finn asked wiping off his hands
"I don't know" Anastasia responded as she watched him stop, she instantly knelt down to feel his heartbeat, she pressed her finger to his neck, nothing, she felt absolutely nothing.
"Is he?" Bellamy asked not able to finish the rest
"He's dead" she let out pulling her hand away from him.
"Here" Clarke said to Finn, "Alcohol" she pulled out what was left from his surgery, "hold out your hand" as she poured the liquid over his hand draining it and drenching his fingers in Monty's moonshine.
"What do we do?" Finn asked shaking off his hands
"Quarantine" Anastasia let out still sitting by Derek's dead body.
"Yes" Clarke replied agreeing with her "round up everybody who had contact with Murphy, bring them here" she told Finn as he escaped out of the drop ship
"And everybody they had contact with?" Bellamy asked unsupportive of the proposition
"Well, we have to start somewhere" Clarke stated, something bite at Anastasia mind as she remembered what they had said, someone found him, not that they did
"Connor" she called for him, "who was with you when you found him" she asked, "who carried him in?" She questioned again, "think"
"The first one was Octavia" he replied struggling for breath, Anastasia head flipped to Bellamy whose face began paler at the sound of his sister's name
"Bellamy" Anastasia tried to get his attention without contaminating him, but he was already out the door.
Within second people began to pile into the drop ship all sick, with either a bloody cough or blood coming out of the eyes. Anastasia let Clarke take care of the others as Anastasia kept her eyes peeled for Octavia and Bellamy to walk through the door.
Anastasia could feel herself getting weaker but she had to stay up and awake to help the others. She rushed to Octavia when she saw her, grabbing a flashlight checking her over, she looked everywhere but it was surprising that Octavia touched Murphy the first as wasn't showing any signs.
"Okay, we're done" Anastasia said turning off the flashlight, "no visible signs of swelling or bleeding"
"So you're saying she doesn't have it" Bellamy questioned
"I'm saying she doesn't have any symptoms, but that could change" she replied, "we need to keep her here just in case"
"No way" Bellamy objected, "look at this place, she'll get sick just being here"
"Do you want to stop the spread or not" Anastasia snapped, "look, i'll keep her on the third level with the people who aren't symptomatic yet" she added, "think of it as a way of keeping her from sneaking out again"
"Screw you, Ana" Octavia bit back
"I'll let you know if her condition changes" she said nodding at Bellamy as he gave a quick thankful smile before walking out of the drop ship, as soon as he was gone Anastasia turned towards Octavia
"Octavia, wait!" She said, as Octavia clung to the end of the ladder, "I need you to sneak out again" she added. Anastasia let Octavia out the back, as her strength began to fade even more.

Soul of the Warrior
In a world where Classes, Stats, and Levels are the everyday norm, Reivyn has a secret. He was unusually aware of his surroundings from an incredibly early age, and Skills and Stats were acquired easily. He was just the son of an ordinary village family, and nothing appeared out of the ordinary on the surface. But below the surface, dreams of another life help shape his mentality and growth. Why does he have some remembrance of a past life, and what is his purpose in this new one? "Soul of the Warrior" is what I call a Semi-Isekai LitRPG. I say "semi," because Reivyn's past life is remembered like a dream, and very incomplete. It is still Isekai, though, as he remembers enough that it directly shapes his personality and his sense of self. The System that governs the world of "Soul of the Warrior" is a combination of modified versions from Selkie's "Beneath the Dragoneye Moons" and Kosnik4's "Magic Smithing." I have changed enough of these Systems and combined them in a way that is unique that I'm mostly sure it's fine, but I still have requested permission to use these ideas. They have both graciously granted me permission. Winner of the April Writathon Challenge. Release Schedule is Mon, Wed, Fri on Royal Road.
