Clarke said, clearly she didn't know about what Finn wanted to talk to them about before they called her over, "with who? How?" She asked.
"I was just with the grounder that we had in the drop ship" Finn said trying to explain it to the girls, "His name is Lincoln" Anastasia was even more confused, she didn't know he could speak, he never did when he had her and Octavia. He didn't even utter a word when he was held captive, and during his torture.
"He spoke to you?" Anastasia asked in a questioning tone.
"It's not important" Finn answered dismissing the girls question
"If we want to live in peace Finn, we can't live in peace with people who've done nothing but kill us" Clarke stated
"They didn't kill me" Anastasia slightly said getting looks from both Finn and Clarke. They shared a type of confusion at her answer, she looked up to see there faces almost in disapproval of what she said, "I'm just saying, maybe we should give them a chance, can you think of a better way to stop the bloodshed" Anastasia said defending herself, with Finn silently agreeing.
"Yeah, with the guns from the guard" Clarke replied.
"You really want a war?" Finn asked her, "because at this rate, that's what's coming" Clarke seemed hurt by his tone, he calmed up "Look, i know it's a long shot, but this is our world now, and i think we can do better than the first time around"
"I trust him" Anastasia spoke up, indicating she was talking about Lincoln, the grounder.
"I don't" Clarke stated bluntly folding her arms over each other, "but if we go, we bring back up"
"No way, we're not bringing guns" Finn said shaking his head, "Those weren't the terms, and if we're gonna do this, we got to give it a fair shot, Ok?" Finn asked turning his head to both of the girls
"Ok" Clarke said disingenuously, "I'll get my pack and I'll meet you by the gate" Clarke said walking away.
Anastasia nodded towards him showing that she agreed but her points already showed that she did. She knew this was the right way, if it was communicated through the grounder, Lincoln, that saved her, and if Finn trusted him, she knew this was the easiest way at peace. It was something she had studied for many years, her father always told her peace in the Ark meant something different that it did on Earth. Peace in the Ark was fueled by fear, fear of being floated, peace on Earth thrived on trust. Before Anastasia turned away Finn grabbed her arm, stopping her back turning her back towards her face.
"Anastasia, I want to make sure that Bellamy doesn't come, don't tell him" he pleaded to her
"Yeah, of course" she replied turning back around walking away to her tent. While inside she grabbed all her bag. Slinging it over her shoulder as she pushed the fabric covering the opening aside stepping out, to be yanked aside by a strong on that gripped her.
"Clarke told me" she heard Bellamy's voice boom out of anger, she couldn't see anything but his shape but she could tell he was angry, "Are you seriously putting yourself out there to be killed?" His voice faded into worry as his grip loosened.
"Bellamy" Anastasia said lightly trying to comfort him, "Don't you want peace?" She asked him, the lightness of her eyes lighting up the dark corner they were in.

"Not if it means you die in the process" He stated gripping her cheek.
"I won't, the grounders they want peace too" She said taking his hand off of her cheek, "this can work" she said giving his hand on last squeeze, "I'll be back..., soon" she turned away meeting them at the gate where Clarke and Finn were already standing talking about something that stalled when Anastasia arrived.
They started walking into the forest as Clarke and Anastasia followed Finn, as he got his directions from Lincoln of where to meet them. Anastasia didn't know how long they have walked in mostly silence, but soon dawn approached as light shined through the dense forest as they could finally see where they are going.
"I'd love it if you were right about this" Clarke said speaking up breaking the silence, "but did you ever consider it might be a trap?" She asked as she walked over a rock fumbling with her words as she slipped.
"Yep, but it's Unity day, i decided to have hope instead" Finn replied with a joking tone, he stumbled on a branch, he fumbled before hissing and clutching his chest.
"Hey, let me have a look at that" Anastasia said as Finn pulled up his shirt to show of his yellow and purple bruised wound, Clarke came over as she dangled her fingers on it making him hiss more before she retracted it in guilt of making him hurt.
"Seriously, Finn, you're putting a lot of faith in a guy who stuck a knife in you" Clarke said as Finn flipped down his shirt.
"And you're sounding more and more like Bellamy" Finn replied looking at her half in jealously and the other in dislike.
"I'm trying to keep us alive" Clarke replied back to him
"So are we, Clarke" Anastasia added softly, Clarke huffed in response before turning around following the path that Finn had been keeping for the past hours, as the group was brought back into silence. They soon came to a clearing with a old bridge, that is partly falling apart where Octavia was standing at the end of it pacing around worriedly. Anastasia hadn't even noticed Octavia was missing.
"So that's how you set this up" Clarke said seeing her directing her message to Finn, "You helped him escape, didn't you?" She asked Octavia already knowing the answer.
"I trust him Clarke" she replied as the trio got closer stepping onto the mossy bridge.
"There's a lot of that going around" Clarke replied bitterly looking at Anastasia and Finn, the sound of footsteps could be heard running towards them.
"Someone's coming" Finn said stepping protectively in front of Clarke, as a figure appeared from the woods, coming out from the other side of the bridge. The grounder, Lincoln approached, as Octavia came running meeting in the middle where the bridge has fallen apart the most. Octavia jumped on him embracing each other in a hug. Anastasia could feel Lincoln's eyes on her, as he stared into the distance towards them. Anastasia saw Finn latch onto Clarke's hand pulling her to him, as the sound of clacking appeared.
"My god" Anastasia said in fascination, "Horses" she said seeing the grounders approach in the majestical creatures she has only heard about. They looked so beautiful, she walked closer to where Octavia and Lincoln were standing to get a better look.
"Hey, we said no weapons!" Finn yelled as Clarke and him approached by her side, she looked past the horse towards the people sitting on them as she saw bows and spears, tucked near them, giving them a death stare past there grey mask that covered the faces in a horrific way.

"I was told there wouldn't be" Lincoln replied
"It's too late now" Anastasia said looking at the only person who wasn't wearing a mask, a girl perched upon a horse, as she stared down at them. Clarke walked forwards with Finn still clutching her hand. Lincoln stopped them holding his hand out blocking them.
"She's goes alone" Lincoln said.
"I'll be fine" Clarke said stepping forward to be stopped by Lincoln again.
"They want to talk to her" he said pointing behind them to Anastasia, she looked at him scared as she began to slowly walk forward as watching the girl jumped off her horse and proceed to meet Anastasia in the middle of the bridge.
"Your name is Anastasia?" The girl asked, Anastasia was scared that she knew her name.
"Yeah" she replied
"I'm Anya" the girl said, pointing her hand to herself.
"I think we got off to a rough start, but we want to find a way to live together in peace" Anastasia said trying to find things to as she was not ready to speak to the grounder at all.
"I understand" Anya said nodding slowly, bringing calm to Anastasia, "you've started a war that you don't now how to end" she finished causing Anastasia to be confused greatly.
"What? No!" She shouted out not realizing what she said, as the words slipped out covering her mouth realizing that at an negotiation she spoke out of feelings and emotion which is rule number 1 of what not to do, "we didn't start anything, you attacked us for no reason"
"No reason?" The grounder questioned mockingly, "the missiles you launched burned a village to the ground"
"Missiles?" Anastasia questioned, "we didnt.."
"The flares?" Clarke asked from behind them getting a dirty look from the grounder, "those were meant for our families"
"We had no idea" Anastasia added sympathetically, she didn't even know about the flares.
"You're invaders" Anya angrily replied to her, "you ship landed in our territory"
"We didn't know anyone was here" Anastasia replied calming, "We thought the ground was uninhabited".
"You knew we were here when you sent an armed raiding party to capture one of us and torture him" the grounder said talking about Lincoln, "those are acts of war"
"I see your point" Anastasia replied calming getting back to her taught ways, "that's why we need to put an end to this"
"Lincoln said that there are more of you coming down, warriors" Anya put in a questioning tone.
"The guard" she stated, "yes, but also farmers, doctors, engineers" she added, "we can help each other but not if we're at war"
"Can you promise that these new arrivals won't attack us" Anya asked, "that they'll respect the terms, you and I agree on?"
"I promise" Anastasia started looking up realizing that once they all came down she would just be nothing but a pawn, "i will do everything i can to convince them to honor the terms we set"
"Why would I agree to an alliance that your people can break the moment they get here?" Anya asked
"If you fire the first shot, those people coming down won't bother negotiating, our technology" Anastasia began, "They will wipe you out"
"Wouldn't be the first to try" The grounder replied, Anastasia furrowed her brows in confusion at her response. Was there some other group that had modern technology? She wondered as Anya's face was in a slight smirk.
"What...Who?" She asked,
"Ana! Run!" She looked down to see Jasper as he began shooting into the trees, she stood in shock as she saw Bellamy with them. She looked back watching Anya pull out a knife ready to attack Anastasia. She lunged at her before falling back in pain gripping her arm. Anastasia looked over her shoulder as she looked at Bellamy staring at her.
"Ana, get down!" She heard Clarke yell as arrows began to fly towards them. Anastasia dropped to the ground as one almost missed her. She picked up speed as multiple arrows were being shot at her as she ran back to the others. She watched as one whizzed past her, as Lincoln stepped in front guarding Octavia. She reached for her put he pushed her away,
"Go, Run!" He yelled as Anastasia latched onto her as they headed back into the forest running as quick as they could stumbling every once and awhile due to the speed not looking behind them. It seemed like they were running forever, and maybe they got lost because they all arrived back at the camp at night, including the backup. Finn stared at Bellamy in disgust when the got back as the panted outside the gate doors.
"You got something to say?" Bellamy questioned Finn
"Yeah, i told you no guns!" He screamed pointing at Anastasia. She looked at him in confusion
"That wasn't me" Anastasia replied
"I told you we couldn't trust the grounders" Clarke spoke up, "I was right"
"Why didn't you tell me what you were up to?" Raven questioned Finn.
"I tried" he replied, "but you were too damn busy making bullets for your gun!" He shouted at her
"Hey!" Bellamy spoke up, "You're lucky she brought that!" He yelled at him pointing to Raven's gun, "they came there to kill you, Finn"
"You don't know that!" Finn retorted, "Jasper fired the first shot!"
"You ruined everything" Octavia said looking at Jasper before turning away heading into the camp.
"I saved you!" Jasper screamed back to Octavia before pushing through the group muttering "you're welcome" as he passed Anastasia.
"Well, if we aren't at war already, we sure as hell are now" Finn stated, "you didn't have to trust the grounders" he replied looking at Clarke, "You just had to trust me" he said as he headed into the camp followed by Raven.
"I should go" Clarke said pointing to the gate that Finn and Raven just answered, "I'm sorry"she said gripping Anastasia shoulder walking past. Bellamy waited for Clarke to get inside,
"Best Unity day ever" Bellamy said.
"Bellamy, i don't want to talk about that" she uttered, "but now i understand, when it between us or the grounders, there's no middle ground" she replied looking at him, "I'm with you, anything" she said as Bellamy pulled her into a hug, holding on tight. A bomb from the sky got there attention as they watched a purple light slid down from the sky
"The exodus ship?" Bellamy questioned, "your dad's early" she looked up at the sky waiting it form more. All of a sudden the ship was speeding down towards the ground and it broke apart in a flame towards the sky. Bellamy saw Anastasia eyes focused on the falling Ark, it almost seemed like she was tearing up but she hid it, "Ana?" he reached out towards her but she shook of his hand, wiping away the stray tear and walked into the Camp.
