and Anastasia even managed to count them as she checked each one off in her mind. She was tracking the lines until her finger tip reached the end. The familiar shape was on the top of her tongue, but she couldn't seem to form the words, instead she just kept tracing the outline.
"Usra Major" Bellamy uttered surprisingly close to her, as he saw the outline on her fingers. She turned her head in shock, forgetting how close they were, as she could see into his soul through his dark eyes. She took a deep gulp, searching his eyes for a reason not the move. All she saw though was a broken boy, someone wanting to numb the pain of reality, and even though she wanted to help him she wasn't going to subject herself to the hurt of being left, by someone as fickle as Bellamy.
"We should go, Bellamy" she looked away from him, pushing away before standing up. She could have swore she heard an sigh from him but it was hidden by the traveling wind all around, as it picked the sound up and away from her ears.
Anastasia led them to the bunker as they picked out the guns and blankets preparing for the walk ahead. Every time Bellamy approached her, Anastasia would slid over leaving space between them.
"You okay?" Bellamy asked as the carried the guns over their shoulders, dragging the blankets behind them in a net.
"Yeah" Anastasia replied continuing till they got to the camp gates. They majority of the camp was circled around the fire looking frantic.
"What if he brings other grounders back? He'll kill us all" they heard walking into the camp, the grounder escaped, "or worse"
"Let the grounders come" Bellamy said as him and Anastasia broke through the crowd dropping the blankets to the ground but keeping the guns around their shoulders, "we've been afraid of them for far too long, and why?" Bellamy said preaching to the crowd like he does best, "because of their knives and spears, i don't know about you, but i'm tired of being afraid" he uttered as they removed the guns off their shoulders displaying them to the crowd, exciting them.
"These are weapons, not toys" Anastasia began, "and we have to be prepared to give them up to the guard when the drop ship comes down, but until then, they're going to keep us safe"
"And there are plenty more where these came from, tomorrow we start training, and if the grounders come, we're going to be ready to fight" Bellamy said as they group dispersed after they carried the guns into the drop ship to keep them save leaving the blankets for the 100 to have. When the 100 saw the blankets many seemed to forget about the guns that were bundled in the corner, as they quickly grabbed on as wrapped themselves in the worn cotton fabric, as the temperatures continued to drop.
"I'll talk to Jaha, and call you when he's ready, okay?" Anastasia said stepping away, as she slid her hand over Bellamy's shoulder walking down the stairs and out towards the communication tent. She sat down putting on the headset as the chancellor came through.
"Hello, Anastasia" Jaha uttered as the transmission fluttered through, his face became clear on the screen.
"Chancellor, the depot was mainly trashed, we found blankets and guns" she said informing him, she could the slight sound of arguing, but she couldn't figure out if it was coming from the Ark or the camp. Jaha nodded but could tell there were more words on her tongue, she was looking around, and keeping her eyes focused on the slit in the fabric.

"Really? and that's all that you wanted to tell me, Ana?" He asked her getting back Anastasia's attention. She quickly nodded "no", as Jaha waited for her to build up the courage.
"I wanted also for you to listen to" she took a giant breath, "Bellamy Blake" she lowered her voice, "and listen to his reason and my reason for him being pardoned" she added
"Bellamy Blake, the kid that shot me!" He exclaimed, slightly Anastasia nodded in agreement, "you want me to pardoned him?" He questioned angrily.
"Just listen to him, please, Jaha" she pleaded.
"I will listen to him, but that doesn't mean i'll pardoned him" he said stated.
"Thank you, I'll be right back" she said removing her headphone quickly, walking out of the tent spotting him by Octavia.
"Bellamy, it's time" Anastasia said, Bellamy looked over to her as Octavia flashed a slight smirk, as she watched her brother quickly dash over.
Anastasia stood by the entrance, as Bellamy rushed over. Anastasia could see the nervousness on his face as he took a big breath. Anastasia led him into the tent, the chancellor was still sitting on the screen as static chopped him up for a second. Bellamy took the main chair and Anastasia sat to the side, they both slipped on the headphones and the sounds of the Ark over took the fire crackling outside the camp. Anastasia led a comforting hand on his with a smile, as the chancellor watched their interaction understanding why Anastasia was so desperate for him to be pardoned.
"Mr.Blake, i've wanted to talk to you for some time now" The chancellor said as they both turned their heads to Jaha, Bellamy looked at him in fear as he tightened his grip on Anastasia's hand.
"Before you do, i'd like to say something" Anastasia butted in, looking at Bellamy, he hadn't cleaned up his face since he had gotten back, which meant Jaha could see the damage that has happened to him because all of this, "when you sent us down here, you sent us to die, but miraculously, most of us are still alive, in large part, that is because of him" she said nodding to Bellamy who was sitting with his hands folded over in each in his lap as he tried to keep his eyes somewhat focused on the screen with Jaha's image, "He's one of us, he deserves to be pardoned of his crimes, just like the rest of us"
"Anastasia, I appreciate your point of view, but it's not that simple" the chancellor replied.
"It is" Bellamy spoke up looking at Jaha, " if you want to know who on the Ark wants you dead" Jaha contemplation, before sigh and looking back at the two kids on the screen.
"Bellamy Blake, you're pardoned for your crimes" Jaha stated bringing a smile to both Bellamy and Anastasia. Jaha's face stayed serious, "now tell me who gave you the gun"
"Commander Shumway" Bellamy said bluntly, Jaha looked at him before rushing up in his seat causing the signal to fizzle and Jaha was gone.
"I told you we would figure this out" Anastasia said removing her headphone setting it aside on the table, as Bellamy took a sigh before sitting back in his chair. Anastasia turned to Bellamy, scooting off her chair closer to Bellamy gripping his face, rubbing her fingers over the blood on his face, "we should....um, we should get you cleaned up" Anastasia removed her hand from his face gently letting them lay in her lap.
"I'm fine, it makes me look tougher" Bellamy replied jokingly causing a slight sound of out Anastasia's mouth that was a mixture of a scoff and laugh.

"No, Bellamy, come on" She said standing up griping his hand pulling him to the drop ship. She sat him down, gently gripping his head dipping a cloth in water draining it a little bit before applying to Bellamy's face. She gently wiped his face, removing the drying blood.
"He got you pretty bad" she said noticing the intensity of his scars.
"Nothing, i couldn't handle" he replied with a smile.
"Were you actually going to leave m....Octavia and everybody else?" She asked him, he uncomfortably looked at her as she dropped the cloth down to her knees, still clutching it in her hands, looking into his dark eyes scanning them for emotion.
"You wouldn't understand, but it was only way to..." he began as Anastasia diverted her eyes towards the bucket on the ground.
"To what? Bellamy, with you gone, something could have happened that we didn't know how to fix, or the grounders could've attacked and we would've been" Anastasia snapped she licked her lips looking back at the muggy water that laid there. Catching a bit of her reflection noticing tears begin to well up, she turned her face away, making sure Bellamy didn't see her, wiping her face. She didn't know if her sadness was caused by her own emotions or the good of the camp. But either way she felt like she was losing control, even though he sat in front of her, she still felt like he was gone.
"Hey, look I'm not leaving, okay" he said resting a hand on her shoulder bringing her into a hug.
She collapsed into his touch, resting her head completing on his shoulder, closing her eyes to the comfort of his touch. He pulled her away only slightly waking her up from her light nap. Both of his hands rested now on Anastasia's shoulders, as he kept them close together. His eyes scanned hers, and he could see the traces of tears on her cheeks as he took one of his hands dabbing the drying sadness away. After he was done he didn't remove his hand from her cheek, instead he kept it on her face, it just felt comfort in that position. He moved his hand closer to her ear, sliding a piece behind her ear. Anastasia could feel where this was leading, and it became more obvious when his eyes focused on her lips. Some part of herself wanted to let him in, but everything about his movements felt planned, and she felt like another toy.
"Bellamy" she said forcing her head away "we can't, the grounders, the ark coming down" she let out with a sigh, naming off reasons noticing his hand still latched around her shoulders.
She felt his touch slowly began to fade, as his hands drifted away moving her hair in the process. She heard him sit up and walk out the entrance the sound of his boots stomping towards it haunting her. She waited in silence for a few minutes, sitting in her thoughts. She couldn't place what she was feeling for Bellamy but she knew that it wasn't something that belonged in her life right now. Everything going on right now, wasn't the time to try to figure out feelings. Every situation they're put in is either life or death, and feelings can get in the way, she knew that. She ran her fingers through her hand frustrated clearing her vision. She held her hands upon her head, as she sat there in silence staring down at the floor, before letting her hair go and standing up walking out the drop ship towards her tent that she still shared Octavia. Octavia was already passed out when she arrived, cuddled up with one of the blankets they brought. Anastasia laid down trying to get sleep but she was haunted by her revelation today, and also her encounter with Bellamy tonight.
"Anastasia!" Her eyes fluttered open as she saw Octavia hovering over her shaking her madly.
"What?" She questioned sitting up, wiping the massive amount of sweat on her forehead. She looked at it questioning as her entire bottom felt warm.
"You were shouting in your sleep and shaking too, i was worried" Octavia replied laying a hand on the girls forehead feeling for a temperature, "are you okay?"
"I..I just had a bad dream, that's all" Anastasia replied assuring Octavia with a smile.
"Okay, good, because today is Unity day!" Octavia shouted shaking her friend excitably.
Anastasia loved Unity day on the Ark it was the one day her father let her actually be a kid. Throughout her years she had been forced to learn and present the annual Unity day history speech, each year. This year was obviously going to be different as who knows what a bunch of rowdy criminals will do on the one holiday they all know. Octavia left the tent after finding out that Anastasia was okay, saying that she had important things to do today. The vague plan easily got passed Anastasia's tired brain, as she sat up tying up her boots and heading out.
She hid herself when she watched a girl exit Bellamy's tent, looking like she had spent the night, her heart dropped watching her sauntered out towards the people gathered around in the middle of the camp. Anastasia ran after Bellamy when he exited the tent, calling his name and gripping his wrist. Her turned around looking at her, disheveled with a distasteful look as he stared at her with a death glare.
"Bellamy" she said letting go of her grip on his wrist, "we should talk" she added not wanting to let him now what about, but he already had a sense what she wanted to talk about.I mean what else would they have to talk about then the cold shoulder he was now giving her after their interaction last night.
"Can't" he bluntly replied crossing his arms over each other, "too busy"
"It's a Unity day, what could you possibly have to do?" She questioned him, as he gave her a judging look.
"I'm just busy, okay?" He said powerfully before storming off, she knew he might had been a little annoyed about last night, but she didn't think that he was mad at her, why would he?
She watched him walk away as he headed towards the other side of camp, she had no idea why he was going there. She knew he wasn't busy today everybody was already crowded in the front of the camp, having fun. She shook her head, watching as Jasper came running in with probably another thing of Monty's moonshine.
"Monty strikes again!" Jasper screamed when he ran in directing the crowd of teenagers towards him.
Anastasia watched the criminals crowd around Jasper as he poured out the "Unity Juice" as he called it. Anastasia was too distracted by Jasper and his "unity juice" loosing Bellamy as he disappeared behind the drop ship.
She rushed off, heading pass the hoard as they cheered for Monty's moonshine, heading in the direction that Bellamy went to. She made it to the edge of the drop ship on the other side, as she watched Bellamy pick up one of the guns, aiming it at one of the many targets that they set up as he began shooting, she could see his anger began to grow as he frantically move the gun back and forth between targets.
"Bellamy!" She screamed running in between Bellamy and the targets, "stop!"
"Get out of the way" he said trying to shoo her away.
"I will" she stated, "if you talk to me, let me explain" she added with her hands up symbolizing her innocence. Bellamy sighed in dissatisfaction before setting the gun down along with the others approaching Anastasia.
"You want to talk, talk" he said not willing to met her in the eyes.
"Bellamy, are you seriously mad at me because I didn't let you kiss me?" She questioned him bluntly,
"Can i finish practicing?" Bellamy asked with a dead look in his face, going to pick the gun back up.
"No, you can't avoid me, Bell" she replied stepping closer to him as he turned around holding a loaded gun in his hand once more.
"I can sure try" he mumbled under his breath, Bellamy avoided her, moving aside as he shot the gun once more. Anastasia could've sworn she heard her eardrums pop, before she collapsed her hands around her lobes, falling back with a moan, "Ana" he tried to apologize but Anastasia could feel her blood boil and a simple apology wasn't going to make it simmer.
Anastasia shook off his touch as she turned around grabbing a gun and then aimed it at Bellamy. He immediately surrendered, Bellamy didn't believe that she would shoot him, but the fire in her eyes right now made it seem like she could do anything.
"I'm just going to say this, and I'm pretty sure you're going to listen" Anastasia began as she dropped the gun to the ground, "I'm not one of those girls who will sleep with you just because you are nice to me, you should know that; I don't even know who you anymore" she mumbled out laying the gun out with the others as she walked off and headed for the communication tent.
She hoped that Bellamy would run after her and give her a reason for the way he was acting, but she knew that wouldn't happen when the sounds of bullets flying echoed through the camp. She sat down in the chair as she wanted for the static to materialize into the chancellor.
"Happy Unity day, Anastasia" the chancellor spoke as the connection was finalized.
"Happy Unity day, Chancellor" she replied, she let out a small flat smile.
"The pageant is about to began, i will sure miss you presenting the unity speech this year, and i'm sure your father will too" Jaha spoke watching Anastasia's face when he spoke of her father.
"Ana!" Bellamy abruptly ran into the tent, earning the attention from Jaha and Anastasia. He calmed down noticing that Anastasia wasn't alone, and quickly grew embarrassed, "Oh, I'm sorry" he apologized as he began to step backwards.
"Blake, you don't have to go" Jaha called out to him causing Bellamy to stop, "Ana, call me back when you can" He stated and the screen went back to static, as the rough sound floated through the tent before Anastasia switched it off.
"So" Anastasia said as Bellamy took the chair next to her, "You seemed like you had something important to say to me"
"Yeah, kind of" He fumbled with his words, nodding, "I don't want to sleep with you" He blurted out.
Anastasia scoffed, "Good to know" She sarcastically remarked with a laugh, pushing her chair out of the way. She stood up and made her way to the exit. She watched the camp start the festivities She was pulled back into the darkness of the tent my a grip on her wrist.
"I didn't mean it like that" Bellamy stated spinning Anastasia around to face him.
"Then explain" She replied roughly, he let go of her taking as step back as he leaned up against the table.
"I meant that I don't see you in that way" Bellamy was having trouble with his words, "No!, that's not what I'm trying to say" He remarked frustrated with himself, "Ana, I don't know how to say this, mainly because I've never really had to do this before" He seemed extremely nervous, "Ana, I...." Before he could get his words out, he was scared by the sound of Jaha magnifying over the camp, as he began the Unity Day speech. Bellamy turned towards the screen to watch.
"To our sons and daughters on earth listening to this message, we will see you soon" The chancellor started glancing down at his speech. Anastasia looked away from the screen, and it almost seemed like Bellamy was taking in a breath of relief. She had no clue what he was getting at, but she almost found it silly and preposterous.
"What's going on Bell?" She asked him, getting his attention away from the screen. She could tell that he wasn't actually paying attention to the words coming out of Jaha's mouth. He turned around to met her face, as she looked confused but she had this smile almost like she found it amusing.
"I..." he took a second to compose himself, "Fuck it" he clamored as she rushed up to her taking Anastasia body into his hands pulling her into him, as he forced her lips onto hers.
