" Anastasia spoke as the council sat before her on the screen that Raven got working in, "we're gathering nuts and berries, curing meats, digging for roots, but the truth is we'll freeze before we starve" she explained as they nodded their heads.
"There's good news on that front" her father spoke, "according to the civil defense plans from before the war, there's an old emergency aid depot not far from the landing site" this was the first time he had seen her since he sent her on the drop ship, and unlike the other willing kids she turned down her father's offer for a personal chat later on after the council meeting. She didn't even know why she was in this seat and not Clarke, of course she was supposed to be chancellor by know, but Clarke has had more of an influence, but nobody has seen her leave Finn's side much, "here are the coordinates" he said showing her a screen as she copied them down.
"In addition to supplies, it could provide shelter for the 100 and for the citizens coming down from the Ark" the chancellor added
"And what makes you think its intact?" Anastasia asked
"It was made to withstand nuclear warfare" her father answered
"All right, It's worth a shot" she replied
"Chancellor, i have to object" she heard a women say but the screen didn't change, "project exodus is under way, the kids should sit tight in their camp until the first drop ship launches"
"Even if everything goes off without a hitch, the 100 would die of exposure before relief arrives" The chancellor responded turning down he offer, "i like a moment with Anastasia, please, and i know there's a line of parents waiting to talk to their kids" he said as the rest of the council including her father left, even if he left reluctantly, "Anastasia, we are very proud of what you've done down there, your father—"
"I don't want to talk about my father" Anastasia replied shutting the chancellor down.
"Please, Anastasia, it's time to forgive" Jaha said
"Let me schedule a time for you and Marcus to sit down, privately"
"Look, i know you both think sending me down here, was a necessary step, but i don't see it that way, and i never will" Anastasia spoke calmly, like a politician, like her father had taught her all her life, "so just tell me who's next and let someone who actually wants to talk to their parents have a turn" she said as the chancellor looked at his clipboard
"Dax" he replied
"Thank you, chancellor" she remarked taking off the headgear. She took a deep breath, holding herself together, before letting her problems fall in one swift exhale. She sat up and push the chair in. Walking out of the tent that was set up for especially for the communications with the Ark after Raven set up the screen.
"Dax" she called out getting no response, she walked over to Jasper and Monty who were working over at the nut station, "Hey, you guys seen Dax" getting Jasper and Monty's attention. Over the pass few days since contact with the Ark, Anastasia's attitude has changed back to the old days on the Ark. The minute she communicated with the chancellor for the first time, she instantly shifted back into the Ark's princess.
"Over there on the meat crew" Jasper responded pointing towards where they would skin the meat the hunter brought in and remove the bone for easy cooking and eating. Anastasia walked over to him,

"Dax!" She called out getting his attention, "you're up" she said, he nodded dropping his meat and taking off his gloves before walking past Anastasia towards the tent.
Anastasia now had more important things to worry about like getting to the supplies from the depot. She walked towards the place she knew Clarke would be, the recovery tent where Finn spent most of his time. She opened up the tent flap to find Clarke sitting by Finn side.
"Clarke" she softly said causing Clarke to look at her, "the chancellor says they're some supplies in a nuclear war shelter, i was wondering..."
"No, take some one else" Clarke replied, shooing her off
"Who? Octavia, is hurt and she still won't speak to me because she thought i could stop what Bellamy did"
"Bellamy, take Bellamy" Clarke spoke up standing up as she walked over to Anastasia, "take Bellamy, okay?" She stated before walking off and out of the tent.
There were clear reasons she wanted to stay away from Bellamy but basically they all added up to the fact that when her father comes down he will force her away from him anyways. She thought it would be best if she didn't create anymore of a bond with him before she had to take her spot on the council. Right now though, Bellamy was the only choice, and he would definitely be protection against any grounders if they came on contact with them while making their way. She took continuous deep breaths as she walked towards the drop ship, the deep breaths were something that chancellor Jaha showed her whenever it felt like it too much. Anastasia walked into a Blake sibling fight as they were clearly arguing about the grounder that they still held possession of.
"Bellamy" Anastasia said walking up to him, he looked at her a cocked his eyebrow to the side before pushing her to the side
"The answer is still no" Bellamy remarked, "I'm not talking to Jaha" noting the last conversation they had when they heard word of communications being full operation. Anastasia tried to force him to speak to Jaha, and disagreed greatly leaving whatever they have very rocky. She hoped that he would say "yes" and it could save her from having her to end talking to him and hanging with him when the Ark came down.
"Hey" she replied, "relax" she met him at the opening to the drop ship, as the wind flapped the cover, while the sun shined through it, "that's not why i'm here"
"What then?" Bellamy asked with rudeness in his voice.
"The Ark, found some old records that show supply depot not to far from here" she said relaying the message she was given earlier.
"What kind of supplies?" Bellamy probed seeming more interested.
"The kind that might give us a chance to live through the winter" she replied, "i'm going to go check it out, and you know i would need backup"
"Why are you asking me?" He questioned Anastasia bitterly reminding her that they aren't on the best terms.
"Well, because you are my last resort, Clarke said no" Anastasia replied coldly. Bellamy thought about it for awhile. Causing an silence to flow through the drop ship.
"I'll get my stuff, meet you in 10" he replied, watching Anastasia immediately leave after getting her answer.
She went to her tent packing flashlights, her map, the note with the coordinates, and her knife, just in case. It was the one that she used on Jasper, and after she cleaned it up it was the only thing that made her feel safe to walk outside the camp after the grounder kidnapped her. She walked out as she followed Bellamy as he headed towards the ration area. She watched him as he stuffed about a months worth of rations into his bag.

"That's a lot of rations" Anastasia said in a suspicious tone, "you do realize this is a day trip"
"A lot can happen in a day" He said before him and Anastasia headed towards the camp gate. Anastasia watched as Bellamy looked back at the camp twice before finally breaching into outside the camp. Anastasia pulled out her map along with the note that marked the coordinates as she lined it up trying to figure out where to go. She began walking straight towards the horizon as Bellamy followed behind.
"What happened to you, princess" Bellamy uttered causing Anastasia to flip her head back to him quickly.
"What are you talking about, Bell" she questioned turning her head back and continuing.
"You used to be Anastasia, the earth's Anastasia, now you're back to being the Ark's princess, i know that's why you took over the camp basically, they told you too, right?" He questioned picking up his paced to be hand and hand with her.
"I did that to get us ready, Anastasia...the Ark Princess they're the same person Bell" she answered.
"I know that isn't true, and you know that isn't true" Bellamy chirped up
"The first drop ship is gonna come down soon" Anastasia said diverting the conversation, "pretty sure you can't avoid Jaha forever"
"I can try" Bellamy replied as they reached a peak that looked over the depot. Anastasia fished through her bag instantly becoming hungry as she watched Bellamy pop some nuts into his mouth. She ate but the weird taste quickly turned her away from the snack. The entire area was soaked in water as a lake seemed to spread through the area. It seemed like more of a wasteland than a place they would put a supplies depot.
"The depot is suppose to be around here" Anastasia said pulling out her map again. She looked around trying to see if she could find it.
"There's got to be a door" Bellamy added looking around too. Anastasia turned to him grabbing his arm and looking him into the eyes.
"Maybe he'll be lenient" she stated, changing the subject.
"Look, i shot the man, princess, he's not just gonna forgive and forget" Bellamy replied, "let's split up and cover more ground, stay within shouting distance" he added before diverging one way and she went to other. She plucked at the bushes slowly losing focus on the mission. Her eyes focused on Bellamy's silhouette across the grassy hills. She slapped herself out of it, heading down the hill near where the water ended swiping away weeds to reveal a day.
"Bellamy, over here" Anastasia said, "I found a door" she pulled on it but it wouldn't budge, "i think it's rusted shut" she said pulling on it again.
"Here, watch you foot" Bellamy replied before slamming his small axe on the door handle breaking it in two blows, "okay, give me a hand" he said setting his axe aside as he grabbed one side of the door and Anastasia grabbed to other pulling it open. Anastasia grabbed her stuff walking down the stairs that lead to the main entrance, the entire thing was covered in webs and smelled like death, "really think this place hasn't been touched since the war?" Bellamy questioned walking down the stairs with the only light being the daylight. Anastasia handed him a flashlight when he got down.
"A girl can dream" Anastasia joked, causing Bellamy to smile, "come on" Anastasia uttered as they headed towards the supplies, which meant going to down a stairway that basically made out of webs. Bellamy shined light on the skeleton laying along the stairs.
"A hell of a place to die" he uttered
"So much for living down her, this place is disgusting" Anastasia said realizing she had failed the chancellor, "damn it"
"Anything left down here is ruined" Bellamy said as they started heading down the hallway at the end of the stairs. The water from above appeared to have sunk into the depot as a small waterfall of water leaked down onto the floor from the ceiling, it looked like it been happening for awhile as there was damaged on both the floor and the ground. Most of the shelves were bare and trashed, covered in spiderwebs and not supplies. The containers had a layer of dust upon them.
"They must have distributed most of the supplies before the last bombs went off" Anastasia remarked looking around the area. she carried herself around, and so did Bellamy he walked over opening one of the bins, taking out glow stick and began cracking them laying them on the ground. Anastasia found an another unopened bin, and popped it opening, noticing multiple blankets stacked up.
"Hey, i found blankets" she said as she looked at the vibrant orange blankets illuminated by a few red glow sticks and mainly her flashlight.
"Excited about some blankets?" Bellamy questioned mockingly, before moving away the glow sticks to look at more of the depot.
"Well, it's something" Anastasia said looking back at Bellamy angrily check the other empty shelves.
"How about an canteen, or a med kit, or a decent fucking tent!" He shouted as Anastasia moved behind him looking at books and letters that had survived the attacks that they hid in the depot. She jumped at the sound of a bang on the ground as the rush of water, she looked over to see that Bellamy had kicked over one of the barrels probably in anger. She rolled her eyes looking back at the desk opening up a old notebook.
"Oh my god" she heard Bellamy said she ran over to see him kneeling near what looked like murky water, that was probably polluted
"What?" She questioned as he turned towards her with gun in his hands. He looked hopeful as she examined the gun, using one of the blankets to wipe off grease that the guns were soaked in. Anastasia remembered the time her father brought her to the shooting range in the ark and gave her a few lessons for "self-defense", but she wasn't going to let Bellamy know that. Bellamy stood up picking up some of the guns, noticing a red piece of fabric tried to one of the door frame.
"Wait" he said walking over to where Anastasia was standing grabbing a black marker that was sitting on the table walking over to the fabric drawing a big "X"over it. He walked back over to her hand her a gun.
"Ready to be a badass, princess" he said turning off the safety lock.
"Look, i'm not going to fight you on bringing guns to the camp, i know we need them but don't expect me to like it" she replied holding the gun with one hand.
"We're lucky the rifles were packed in grease, means we're not sitting ducks anymore" he said looking at the guns in admiration, "here you need to learn how to do this" he said putting his gun down.
"So" Anastasia said, moving the gun up to her low shoulder, wanting to mess with him, "so i just hold it on my shoulder" she said holding the gun wrong aimed at the cross. Bellamy walked closer to her grabbing her shoulder
"Yeah, just a little higher now, that end" he said moving the gun up, Anastasia felt tingling as Bellamy grabbed her hand. She looked over to him standing beside her and then looked down at his hand on hers. He quickly moved it away walking back to his gun, grabbing it off the table placing it on his shoulder, "watch and learn" he said aiming the gun, pressing the trigger, the gun clicked but no bullet came out. He gave a questioning look before cocking the gun again, aiming it back up and pressing the trigger again. No bullet came out again.
"Still watching" Anastasia replied, causing Bellamy to roll his eyes.
"My bullets are duds" he said setting down his gun, "try yours" he said as Anastasia moved facing the marker, aiming the gun at and focusing. She took a deep breath keeping her eye on the target, squeezing the trigger between her fingers as a bullet escaped and punctured the fabric right in the center of the "X".
"What?" Bellamy questioned watching the bullet whiz by.
"My father was council member over the guard, I learned how to shoot a gun when I was 13" she said putting the gun down.
"I'm impressed princess, Try again" he said.
"No, we shouldn't waste ammunition" Anastasia replied watching Bellamy pick up her gun, she watched him closely as he moved the gun up taking a shot, "we need to talk about how we're gonna keep the guns around the camp, where we're going to keep them, and who has access" she said as Bellamy took another shot, "you left Miller in charge of the grounder, you must trust him" she said turning towards him, as he looked away from the target for one second at her.
"You should keep him close, the others listen to him" Bellamy said about to take another shot before Anastasia grabbed the gun, "you clearly don't know about gun safety" he replied watching her put her hand over the barrel.
"I should keep him close?" She questioned making him look at her as she kept on holding the gun, "Bellamy, what's going on" she asked as Bellamy looked away towards the target, keeping quiet, "you been acting weird all day, all the rations you took" and then it finally hit Anastasia, "you're going to run, that's why you agreed to come with me, you were going to load up on supplies and just disappear"
"I don't have a choice" Bellamy finally replied, "the Ark will be here soon"
"So you're just going to leave Octavia?" Anastasia asked him, what she wanted to ask was so you're going to leave me but she couldn't form the words without feeling sick.
"Octavia hates me" Bellamy replied biting his tongue, "she'll be fine" he added.
"You don't know....." Anastasia began before being cut off by Bellamy
"I shot the chancellor!" He yelled yanking the gun and slamming it on the table, "They're going to kill me, Ana" he replied looking down at the table, "best case scenario, they lock me up with the grounder for the rest of my life, and there's now way in hell, I'm giving Jaha the satisfaction"
"Bellamy.." Anastasia tried to comfort him
"Keep practicing" Bellamy said walking away, "I need some air" slipping pass the fabric as Anastasia watched him, full of grief.

The Girl Named Rino
Oh. Hello. I didn't see you come in. No, don't worry. I don't need to hear your name. I already know what it is. I also knew that you'd come up at around this time. But, at the same time, I also didn't know. It's very hard to put into words - but that's what happens when you become the Chaos God. Your psyche gets messed up, big time. That's even more so for me, who was already warped enough to confuse reality with imagination - and, even make the rest of the universe believe that it was so. But, enough about me. Let's talk about you. You seem to come from a very far away land. It's faint, but your presence is there - in a relatively primitive planet. No wonder, no one wanted to stay in, or conquer your region of the universe - there's nothing worth controlling there. Your existence, much like your entire solar system, also seems to be pretty insignificant. Tell me, is your race capable of destroying your own world? Oh, you're already well along the way? Global Warming? Pollution? Overpopulation? Nuclear weapons? Wow... it's been many millenia since I'd last heard of such ancient concepts from someone who is actually living through it. Still, good job getting that far. That means that your world is now, at least, worth considering as a possible place to install a World System. If I find the time, I'll try surveying it. You can just thank me, later. Oh wait! What kind of person am I, not even offering my guest any hospitality. I'm ashamed. Please, take a seat. What would you like? I have everything the multiverse has to offer, whatever it is you want - I can get. Ah! After we talk, would you mind, if I asked you to do me a tiny favor? There's this girl, I want to keep tabs on. She's in one of the Worlds that I preside over, it's called Aiarthe. But, for some reason, I can't see her - not directly, at least. All I need you to do, is check up on her from time to time. Whether you do it as a pure spectator or through someone else's eyes, is entirely up to you. Really!? You would!? Wow! Thanks! You really did me, a huge solid there! For agreeing so quickly, how about I get started on surveying that planet of yours, right now!? You can help yourself, to anything in the fridge! Well, see ya!

Toothpick
“Hello! My humble audience! I, the Bard of the North, am going to tell you a tale. Nothing new, nothing old. A story of a hero, some may say, others a poor boy who was hated by the world.” The storyteller paused as he waited, right timing was everything when telling a story. Pacing… Too slow and the audience became bored then left without tossing even the smallest of coins. If he spoke too fast and rushed the story. It would leave the audience confused and having no reason to be impressed. So like any good storyteller, the Bard has to do a balancing act of sorts. Not too slow, not too fast. Just perfectly in the middle. “In a shattered country in the south, a novice princeling has the ambition to mend a torn tapestry that is his birthplace. Struggling to fend off those who would usurp the throne in an unending civil war spanning centuries. A mercenary that left only death in his wake, unable to stave off the monotony and peace of life. He looks back at the path laden with bodies, wondering if it was all worth it. Wandering souls summoned by a madman, travel away from a wasteland in a foreign land, the first alone, the others as companions. A deity, ancient in her years, waiting to be freed from a duty she no longer enjoys. For all these people and their stories, none are the hero of this tale. No, the hero is not grand, not wise, not ready.. he was punished for nothing of his doing, who was an outcast that was unloved by many, including his father.” This was always the big reveal novices use to jump off into their story. He did not start here, instead, like any good fishermen, he set the bait and waited until the fish bit before pulling. As he saw the audience's eyes focus, he then started the backstory. The harness, that stopped the listeners from having metaphorical whiplash. The foreshadowing. “But that is not where the story starts. No, not even the hero's birth. Where the story begins, is the boredom of the deity, a deity many know of. She who hunts for the impossible, the guide for those who have lost the path, the Huntress of Mallon--” A small pause, a short breath. “--All old names for a single powerful being that has roamed the grounds of this continent longer than any line of kings or queens, lords or ladies. A being of worship for many an individual…” One last breath. And he began singing the first verse.
