《Skaikru ☣ Bellamy Blake [2]》Trikru Strength

Her horse moved quickly maneuvering around all obstacles. She needed to be quick before something bad overcame the two small girls in her care. It wasn't till the familiar rocky passage could be seen in the distance that she realized her obstacle. There the Azgeda army stood there at the base.
She didn't waste any time pulling at the reigns and steering her horse in another direction. From the time it took the girls to leave compared to the time it took to mobilize their army, she knew that the girl's wouldn't been able to bypass them, especially with them being so small and Jade knowing the terrain. She needed to get around them and she knew exactly how. But it seems as Azgeda was trying to keep their advantage to themselves.
Through the trees she maneuvered her horse only for her to pull it to a stop when a sound was heard. She listened closely before spotting them a short distance away. She dismounted her horse before taking her bow and moving quietly towards them. With her clothing blending easily into the surroundings, she moved along the shadows creeping closer and closer.
Once she was within distance, she pulled back the drawstring and let the arrow fly at the one standing furthest from her. The arrow brought the attention of the other three to her. She loaded another arrow and sent it flying but it wasn't long till the other two were charging toward her.
Dropping her bow, she pulled her sword out and met their strikes. She ducked the first swing before blocking the other. She kicked that one back before sending a swing toward the other. Her swing was overshot as she was only able to cut his shoulder but it sent him stumbling back. She drew her sword forward and into the stomach of the other as he charged forward. She pulled her sword out and blocked a blow from behind before quickly swiping her sword across the other's throat.
The sword dripped with blood as it hung by her side. Her breath heavy as she tried to slow it. But the anger was present as she remembered all the fallen she had lost in the capital. She took a moment until she found what she was looking far and mounted her horse once more.
She continued through the woods, her eyes and ear on alert making sure there were no other threat around her. It wasn't long till she heard something. Urging her horse to go faster she finally appeared over a little hill and down below stood Bellamy Blake, Clarke Griffin, Echo and Roan.
The sight of them standing together talking stirred something inside her. A thing that had remained dormant for so long but only beginning to wake once the harsh realities of her world were revealed. She kicked her horse making it hurry to their spot.
Heads turned toward her, all alarmed at who might be coming toward them. Echo drew her bow at the sight of Nia and was ready to fight her. Bellamy heard the sword and was going to speak against them attacking when Nia was the first to strike.

She steered her horse toward Echo quickly and knocked the girl backwards making the loaded bow fall from her hands. She swung her leg over and slid off the horse once she was closer to the King.
The attack from Nia was so sudden that they barely had any chance to react. Roan's hand still on his hilt but there was no way he could pull it out now.
Once her feet were planted on the ground, Nia didn't hesitate to push him back till he hit the tree behind him. Her dagger planted right at his throat as she held it firmly. One slash and it would be over. She would be able to avenge all the others without anything standing in her way.
"I could kill you right now for what you did." She sneered at him the others picking up her words. The dagger pressed further against him with every word. "No one would be able to stop me."
"I would." Echo spoke up after she had gathered her bow and arrow. Her aim pointed at Nia waiting for her move.
"You wouldn't be fast enough." Nia commented as she noted her studies of Echo in Polis. She was an excellent warrior, yes, but her loyalty to her King would cause her to hesitate.
"Nia, Nia, listen to me, you don't want to do this." Bellamy spoke hoping to calm the situation. His only hope was that she would listen to him.
"Why wouldn't I? He killed thirteen of my warriors! He deserves death!" Nia's voice made them all shudder as she spoke. She wouldn't allow the person who slayed her own go without having a justifiable reason.
"Nia, you saw the army. If you kill Roan then they come after you. Think about the girls, you can't leave them alone." Bellamy stated causing her to come to grips of her actions.
She didn't care about them coming for her in the slightest, but putting herself in that position meant putting them there as well. She wouldn't put that on them.
"This isn't the end of this Roan. One day you will get the death your due." Now's threat hanging in the air as she began to step away from him.
"How did you get past the scouts?" Echo questioned as she had been the one to order the scouts to ensure there were no further surprised waiting for them.
"You think Azgeda scum knows Trikru woods better than is?" Nia stated back sending a glare at them. She pulled the tinkets from her pocket and tossed them in the center of them. The four additional ones laid among the 6 from the capital as Roan recognized their clan symbol. "Conside those the first of many for those you slaughtered."
"Why are you here?" Echo asked wondering why she was there especially since Azgeda and Skaikru had established another treaty one that didn't include Trikru.
If Nia arrived a minute earlier then she might've found out about it indefinitely. Then they all wouldn't be standing there right now. It was better for them to keep it to themselves.

"When the embassy went under siege, few fleed leading them to me. While I took care of the Azgeda guards in Polis, I left Jade and Lynn to tend to the wound. That is until they found out about Azgeda coming after Skaikru, leading them to try and warn Bellamy before it could happen." Nia began to inform still trying to find out where the two girls were currently at. "And seeing you all conversed here led me to believe that warning was given. So tell me where are the girls?"
Nia's gaze settled on Clarke seeing how Bellamy's restraints were still on. If he was captured then he wouldn't have any knowledge of them.
The information of the girls was a shock to Clarke as that was not the way that they had obtained knowledge of the attack. It was in fact Octavia who had warned them.
"I don't know Nia." Clarke chocked out as she was afraid of what Nia might do with the information.
She sucked in a breath as she had no clue where the girls might be if not at Arkadia. She had vowed to protect them but now had no idea where they might be. Could they have gotten caught by Azgeda? Her grip on her sword tightened at the thought. An act that didn't go unnoticed by Bellamy.
"Nia, Nia, we'll find them. I'll help you." He said to calm her down before she could make another move that would end badly. "They could've made it to Arkadia without anyone noticing."
Before anyone could say anymore a loud explosion was heard gaining their attention. As they looked over the trees their eyes settled on smoke rising over them.
"That came from Arkadia." Clarke announced as dread settled among them.
Nia waited for no one as she hurried to her horse and jumping on. She could only hope that they were there but now they might be even more danger than her not knowing where they are. Echo worked quickly to unlock Bellamy's chains as he was quick to shake them off. Nia held her hand out to him and once she was settled she kicked the horse's sides to go. Despite them not having any interaction both still cared for the girls and would both want to ensure their safety.
It wasn't long till they reach the gates with the others trailing significantly behind them. But the sight before them allowed them the time to catch up.
The Ark that once stood high was not crumbling before them in a burning blaze. Their viable option was gone.
Nia slid off the horse as her eyes darted around her. She hoped to spot some sign of the girls there as she blocked out the others around her. Her hope was fading as no sign was presented until movement caught her eye as it rounded a corner.
The girls had gotten to Arkadia moments after the guard had left to confront the Azgeda army coming to them. They had searched for someone any to stumble on Octavia and Nylah walking the halls. Both had told them to wait at the hanger until they had gotten back and they waited until the explosion was heard. The Ark began to shake as they were quick to make their way out.
Jade had wondered if traveling to Arkadia was the best option for them but Lynn had insisted as they both cared for Bellamy. But now it might've been best if they stayed. How would Nia react to them leaving? Had she noticed?
"Jade! Lynn!" Nia called out bring their attention to her. Both didn't waste time as they ran toward her. She engulfed them in a hug as she let out a sigh. They were safe.
Some of Bellamy's tension was let go as he saw them huddled together. All he needed to find now was Octavia. Clarke was the one to spot her first as they were being led out of the Ark. He rushed over and grabbed her holding her close. She was safe.
All eyes watched as the flames consumed the giant structure before them. Any hope for a future being destroyed with it.
As Nia stood there watching the information before being pieced together. Roan knew the Flame was gone and the biggest threat that stood against them was taken out of Polis. This would be her diversion.
She pulled the girls along back to the horse, there she noticed the horse that the girl had come on tied beside the gate. She wasted no time putting the girls on before climbing behind Lynn. They had to get back to Polis.
Once the reached Polis, Nia was quick to tie the horses as they earned a good rest from all the traveling. They entered through the tunnel quickly knowing that time was limited. They had the upper hand but they needed to ensure it stayed with them.
"Where have you been?" Tate questioned once their presence was known. He had half a mind to go after Nia after Fox informed him of what happened. But luckily, she had convinced him to stay seeing how he was needed there in her absence.
"It doesn't matter. What does is the tower is empty, Azgeda's army is out of Polis. We need to move now." Nia commanded not wanting to miss this opportunity.
The information set everything straight for them. Their threat was gone giving them opportunity.
"We need warriors and we need them now." She announced and not a second longer Indra had volunteered to gather their forces. In order to hold Polis, they need the force to keep it.
Once orders were sent out the ones that remained made their way to the tower. They would hold it until reinforcements came. It was Trikru against all others.
