《Skaikru ☣ Bellamy Blake [2]》An Ally?

The moments after Azgeda's announcement seemed hectic for Skaikru. Not only were they ordered not to leave but they couldn't, not without finding some resolution to them helping. Another takeover couldn't happen now not when they had bigger problems on their hands. They needed to get their people out of the city without being detected but how? Luckily for them, they had one ally left.

Indra entered the temple as those not needed left. She would help them in any way to restore order in Polis.

"Well?" Clarke asked wanting to know what they'd be facing.

"You're not gonna like it." Bellamy stated knowing the odds stacked against them.

"When You destroyed the City of Light, there were a thousand Azgeda warriors inside the city of Polis." Indra informed.

"Good timing." Octavia commented.

"Only way to remove them is by force." Indra provided the answer that would get them back in control.

"Them let's remove them." Octavia added. Since Lincoln's death she had taken a more active role in being a warrior. As Indra observed her, she couldn't help but compare her to another warrior who had faced the loss of loved ones far too frequently.

"Slow down. You're talking about a war." Abby spoke up not liking how the conversation was turning.

"Yes. Rockline, Flokru, and Broadleaf will join Trikru without question, but we'll still be short." Indra listed the allies Trikru had constantly had over the years.

"This is madness. We should be leaving with the others while we still have time." Abby tried to convince the others.

"They know where we live. If we run, they'll follow." Kane input not liking the idea of fighting but it was the better option. "There are 8 other clans. How do we get them to join is?"

"I can do it, but I'll need the Flame." Indra responded but what no one seemed to know was the but of information she was holding back. Her thinking had led her believe that with the Flame it would been a minimal detail.

Clarke was quick to disagree in giving up the one thing still connecting her with Lexa.

"Clarke, the clans will follow whoever had the Flame." Bellamy supported knowing how much the Flame meant to the clans. But still Clarke didn't budge.

This lead them back to their original point in fighting back but Clarke had another thing in mind. But Abby seemed to catch onto her daughter's determination to save the King. In asking Clarke about it led to them revealing the ineviable end they would soon face. This information came as a shock to them all and as deceiving as ALIE was they needed confirmation.

"Even if it's true, that's 6 months away. There are a thousand Ice Nation warriors on the streets that want to kill is today." Indra stated being their attention back to the task they were currently facing.

"They won't kill us." Clarke said confident in her response.

"How can you possibly know that?" Octavia asked not sure how she could possibly know that. Azgeda had always been more than eager to try and prove the power that they held. What's to stop them now?

"Because we're going to surrender." Clarke replied before looking back to Indra. "All of us."

Indra simply stated at her not believing what she had actually said. Not only did this cause a problem among them but for her as well. Now it was time to reveal her detail.

"I can't order a surrender." Indra informed making them glance at her questionably.

"What do you mean?" Kane was the one to question her meaning.

"A general is the one who leds the army but I'm not the general of this army. Nia is." Indra revealed making all of them to shift. Having Indra help their chances but Nia was another story entirely. "Convincing Nia to fight wouldn't have been a problem, especially with the Flame but getting her to surrender." Indra trailed off not needing to express further.

"Where is she?" Bellamy asked. If anyone could convince her it would be him.

"She ordered Trikru to the embassy." Indra informed as she moved toward the door. She would have to be the one to get them inside to her.

The group made their way toward the embassy each not know what they might expect. The guards beside the door looked reculant to let anyone other than Indra but she managed to conince them otherwise. They walked further in until they came into a room where Nia stood looking over a table with a few others gathered around. A guard mentioned their presence making Nia look up from her position. She didn't say a word but led them from the room to another open area, one that held all the wounded they still had in the capital, but with enough distance to not be overheard. Tate was close by as he had establish himself a position as one of her guards.

"I was beginning to wonder why you weren't present in the embassy." Nia spoke out first to Indra who hadn't made an appearance longer than a minute. But Indra provided no rebuttal but allowed the others to speak for themselves.

"We need your help getting to the King." Clarke was the one to talk first.

"And why would I help you much less him?" Nia responded not moving from her position against Azgeda.

"You helped us before." Abby was next to try speaking to her. She hoped that her communication with Nia would help their situation.

"That was before Skaikru was responsible for the deaths of my family." Nia stated bluntly.

They all knew this would come up in a matter of time but they hoped it would not stir her from helping them. But it was the one thing Nia had fought for her whole life and now it was gone.

"That wasn't-" Clarke tried to reason with her but it only set her off.

"Wasn't it? Abby, Kane, and Bellamy were all there when my people were locked up because we came from outside the wall. They were there when Alec was out on his knees and shot. They were too late to save my brother. And then there was you. I couldn't figure out how Lexa died until ALIE showed me. She played their deaths on a loop just waiting for me to give in and I saw it all. I saw how she ran into the room after hearing gunshots, how she paused before stuming in and then the door closes. It's not til the guards get called in that I see her lifeless body again." Nia released all the pain that she had been harboring inside her. They should know all the pain she was going through while all her actions were to help them.

"And then I see her. Ontari." Nia sneered her name making her dislike well and clear. "I see her set her body on fire with a smile present. And it makes me wish I had fought a little harder for a little longer. I would've ripped her throat out and strung her up for all the clans to see."

The words painted a vivid picture. Each word held a but of pain that stirred inside her.

"So no, the Nia you're looking at is not the same one you've grown accustom to. If you want Trikru's help you're going to have to work a little harder than that." Nia finalized ready to walk away in a moment.

They stood in silence for a moment. Things have changed indeed but they needed Trikru's help. Clarke looked at them uncertain but they all held the same look in agreement. Before she began to speak she looked to Tate beside her but he made no indication of moving.

"Praimfaya. The fire that had destroyed the world, will destroy it again. We have 6 months." Clarke explained.

The news was shocking to Nia. She didn't expect for them to tell her this. This changed everything for them.

"And how do you know this?" She asked not wanting to believe what she was told.

"ALIE told Clarke. It was the reason she chipped everyone. Raven's trying to find a solution where we survive this but we can't help her trapped in Polis. Abby and Clarke need to see the King in order for him to let us leave. We can't do this without you. Without Trikru." Bellamy spoke hoping to get through to her.

As she heard him speak she took few steps from her standing. How could all this happen so quickly? Their world was ending. Her eyes glanced up and settled on Fox and Jade. Both had been a huge help among those wounded. They didn't deserve this end. She had to do what's best for her people. For her girls.

"You'll have Trikru's help but it won't be for you." Nia finally responded.

After their help was set, they needed their plan to get to the King. This called for a meeting with Echo while the others were left anxiously to watch.

"She's Ice Nation. She can't be trusted." Indra began to speak to Bellamy. He was the only one that Echo seemed willing to talk to and that Nia didn't trust.

"Never a dull moment, huh?" Murphy appeared out of nowhere causing attention to go to him.

"Bellamy, pay attention. She's apart of the royal guard, spies. That's why she's not marked, very dangerous, very loyal." Indra continued to inform.

"Not to the people who saved her life." Bellamy responded making Nia roll her eyes. It didn't matter who saved whose life every act seemed to be repaid with death.

"Bellamy, I know how you feel about her, but you can't lose control. You offer them technology, guns. Whatever it takes to keep her talking. Is that clear?" Kane instructed but his words were quickly caught.

"We didn't agree to give them guns." Nia announced. She would not let Azgeda hold a possesion that would be used to wipe out her people.

"Well, that's probably because you're not an idiot." Murphy commented once again.

"It won't get that far." Kane quickly responded hoping to calm nerves. "Out objective is to buy time for Abby to save the King, and if you wanna help, grab a weapon, share a post."

"Take mine." Bellamy gave up his gun before going toward the courtyard. Nia walked a few paces behind him. "I got this." He spoke out wanting to calm whatever anxieties she had. But his hope was that she still worried for him as if it were some trip outside Arkadia.

Each person stood their ground as they watched the two converse among themselves. Nia wanted nothing more than for Azgeda to make a wrong move so that she could go in and prove that Trikru was never weak. And her wish didn't take long for it to appear. Echo turned her back on Bellamy making him reach out to grab her. She didn't waste time to hold him hostage.

"Guns on the ground, or he dies." She called out to those waiting for Bellamy.

"We disarm? We're done." Indra spoke out against following Echo's orders.

"The only way my sword touches the ground is if I'm dead." Nia said determination lining her tone. Her sword in her hand the moment Echo first struck.

"Abby'll come through." Kane fully trusted the doctor's abilities.

"You surrender now, we walk." Nia commanded. She was against the original idea in the first place but was talked into it. But now she would not stand to give into Azgeda.

Kane ignored her request instead chose to order the people around him. "Do what she says. Guns on the ground now."

Skaikru laided their weapons down while the few Trikru there seemed to hold off waiting for Nia's move. She had laid her weapon down before and in the end she had faced the consequences. She wouldn't do that again.

Without a word Nia turned and left. Not a second after Tate and the others follwed behind only leaving Indra in their wake.

With him being pinned to the ground, Bellamy turned his head slightly and just in time to see Nia walk away. It was sight he never wished to see.
