《Skaikru ☣ Bellamy Blake [2]》A Short-Lived Victory

ALIE was losing her grasp on the matter at hand despite taking out the nightblood she had in her possession but the group was rather persistent. This lead to her sending many of her chipped followers to the top of the tower. But someone above was trying to get below.
Fox searched the floors quickly only to come up empty handed. She moved with the shadows so not get to get seen but as each second went by that she didn't find them the more she was questioning what might've happen to them.
It wasn't till the she reached the middle level. It would be the last level she would be able to reach without encountering any of the climbers. She turned down halls and peered around corners letting out a breath as the whole level seemed to be cleared. Just as hope seem to vanish inside her the final room came into view and she entered.
A sword cut in front of her missing her by inches but the blade itself was similar in all appearance. The sword pulled away just as the girl came into view in a fighting stance ready to attack any intruder.
"Jade." She called out grasping the girl's attention.
"Fox." Jade spoke as she noticed her standing in front of her. She lowered her sword before stepping forward and gathering her in a hug. She was relieved to see her there with them. She wouldn't have to defend Nia alone.
"Jade, where's Nia?" Fox asked once they pulled away from one another. She hoped that Jade had found her.
"Come on." Jade simply said before closing the door and bringing her around the room. She opened another door and was lucky it made no sound.
Inside the closet sat Nia with the blindfold still secured around her eyes. Fox was shocked by the sight in front of her and her hand went to remove the blindfold from her eyes.
"No." Jade was quick to grab ahold of her arm to prevent any further movement.
"Jade, we have a better chance at fighting if we have her by our side." Fox tried to reason going to the blindfold again.
"You can't." Jade spoke again pulling back from Nia. "If you remove it then ALIE knows exactly where to find us."
Fox's eyebrows furrowed as she tried to figure out how that might've happened. An idea popped into her mind but it couldn't be. Nia wouldn't do that and she was sure of it until Nia spoke up from her spot.
"It's true. I'm sorry." Nia offered but knew that it wouldn't be enough for her to understand. "I know about Lincoln and it was too much for me to know."
The girls shared a glance and both knowing the meaning. They hadn't wanted Nia to find out about Lincoln until after they had dealt with ALIE. But both understood her standings nonetheless and now that the damage was done, there was nothing more they could do but wait till the others were finished with ALIE. All they could simply do was defend this room from anyone else entering. They were the ones to protect Nia from enemies.

ALIE needed to gain some sort of control. She need submission. She needed those conspiring against her to give in as long as a powerful figure ordered them too and she had the perfect person in mind.
Despite not knowing her where Nia was she still was chipped and connected to her. There was a few things that Nia cared about and she couldn't get her hand on the two girls but there was something closer she could use.
The pain flooded quickly in. A scream escaped Nia's throat as it spread throughout her body. The pain could be related to a thousand cuts piercing her body and each cut going deeper and deeper. Her heart rate spiked as she began to sweat as each second passed.
The girls were quick to be by her side as they tried to figure out what might be wrong. But there was absolutely nothing they could do. Her screams would soon draw attention to them and that would not help them in the slightest.
"Nia. Nia, you have to be quiet." Jade spoke to her while Fox went to check the door.
Nia's screams silenced but moans and groans replaced them as the pain was constant. She knew she had to be quiet but the pain seem to grow the more she was silenced. But she no longer screamed as she took the pain given to her.
Jade closed the door seeing how this might been the best they were going to get. Right now her and Fox needed to be stationed by the door in case anyone tried to enter from it. The two girls shared a nod before position themselves in the shadows. They could only hope that the others would hurry in defeating ALIE.
At the top of the tower they had readied to implant the Flame into Clarke's head and now were waiting for ALIE's followers to attack. Miller, Bryan, Octavia and Pike waited in the commander's room for the first wave of attackers to approach but Miller and Bryan left the room once Bryan's wound seem to get infected not knowing the events that would take place.
Once Bellamy had caught sight of them he knew that things would go wrong leaving his sister with the man that kill her boyfriend. He made his way there quickly hoping to get there in time but did not succeed. Not only did she injure Pike who would help them fight but the climbers had begun to enter the room.
All they could do now was exit the room and bar the doors. That door was the only thing between them and a hostile takeover. As Bellamy stood there holding the door closed he couldn't help but think about how Octavia was trying to exact revenge in her own way. He had once let the grief of loss overcome his sense leading him to take 300 lives without considering all the consequences.
"O. O, listen to me." He went to speak out against her actions. He wanted to make sure that she didn't make the same mistake he did. "I know how you feel. I let my need for revenge put me on the wrong side. I don't want that for you."

"You keep it closed. I'll get more for the barricade." Octavia opted out of the conversation she was about to have. She left without another word.
"It wasn't the wrong side. If the Grounder army was still there when Lexa died, they would've attacked and you know it." Pike countered still standing by his point of wiping out the Grounder population fueled by his anger.
"I wanted to see things like you." Bellamy spoke up now knowing the differences in their point of views and the damage it could do. "I needed that, to believe they were bad and we were good. But that was wrong." Bellamy knew that in his vulnerable moment Pike had taken advantage of it. "I don't know what I believe in anymore. I just know that I have to live with what I've done and who I've hurt."
There was no more talk among them as they waited for further help to keep everyone out. As silence overcame them Bellamy couldn't help but think about Nia and the girls. Where were they now? Were they safe?
Back in the lower floors, Fox and Jade had just finished another sweep of ALIE's people. There had been three groups since Nia had first started screaming. After the first, the girls thought it best to venture out so not to lead them directly to Nia. Each sweep they went through they made sure to render them unconscious but restrained them enough so they wouldn't get loose. When this sweep was done they went back to Nia to check on her condition.
When they entered they hoped to find Nia in a slightly better condition but it was not what they found. Nia was still in the pain ALIE was providing and it didn't see to calm only for a matter of seconds.
"The more pain she suffers, the more stress on the baby. She can't go through this much longer." Jade pointed out once she had a quick assessment of Nia. "Whatever they are doing to stop ALIE, they need to do it now."
Fox sighed in frustration as all they could simply do was sit by and wait. The sound of people in the hall brought them back into their predicament. They closed the door before moving quickly to strike those coming at them. They had to hold off any attempt until ALIE was finally defeated.
The barricade above was only a temporary solution as the process to stop ALIE seemed to lengthen. But the more they stood they more time they were able to strategize another alternative and that would buy them more time. Working quickly they moved positions to execute their plan.
It wasn't long till the door busted opened and those chipped flooded in. They maneuvered toward the throne room only to pause when they saw Octavia standing in a flooded hallway.
"Wait, Kane. Wait. I give up. I'll take the chip." Octavia spoke out to them.
"Good. No one else has to die ever. Maybe you can convince your mentor of that. Or even convince Nia to give in. After all you wouldn't want her to put you niece or nephew in even more danger." Kane informed taking her off guard.
The information he provided had not only taken her off guard but those listening in behind her. Not only had Nia been chipped but she was fighting against ALIE. With her and the girls still on his mind he wanted nothing more than to turn and find them but if she was chipped then there was nothing they could do seeing how they had already used their only EMP.
"Indra and Nia's alive?" Octavia asked wanted to confirm what information was given.
"Yes. Indra's on the cross suffering needlessly. And Nia's will seems to be getting in her way. The more she doesn't give in, the more the baby inside her suffers as well." Kane informed hoping to hit a nerve inside them willing to give in.
It only took a second to register the information before their plan was able to proceed. As soon as Octavia saw the last person step into the water she hopped onto a crate before calling out to the others. They didn't waste a second as they send the electric batons into the water. The charge spread through the current as it electrified those in it.
Once the charge was clear they hurried to gather weapons before going to retreat to the throne room. It was the last place they needed to hold for whoever long they needed to.
"If what Kane said is true," Octavia spoke quietly to Bellamy not liking the information they had been given, "then Clarke needs to hurry."
Bellamy's nerves were on high alert as they hurried back to the room. They were always in a race against time but now that his child was in danger the time had been shortened.
They barred the inside doors in hoping of keeping the others at bay but again it was only a temporary solution. If they got through then they would have to engage in hand to hand combat in order to keep Clarke safe and ALIE from gaining their lives.
It wasn't long till all seemed to fall on top of them. The doors not only busted open in the throne room but the hallway flooded with ALIE's followers against Jade and Fox. Each group battling against an enemy that seemed to keep coming against their best advances.
The more time that passed, the more ALIE seem to gain an upper hand. Finally, when the end seemed to come for them the ones chipped seemed to be overcome with emotion. All the pain and suffering they had forgotten flooded back. They had won.
With the first few had stopped attacking Jade and Fox they had taken a hint and hurried back to Nia. They were both reliefed to see her pulling her blindfold off and taking in her surroundings. Without wasting another second they both engulfed her in a hug and were relieved to have her back.
For the time being it was over but far worse problem was creeping you up them.
