Walking down the corridors until she found the room where they would be. Upon entering she was met with the sight of both her boyfriend and her brother sparring shirtless. She crossed her arms and leant against the doorway and watched as they fought.
Bellamy struck first but Lincoln blocked it before sending his own. This went back and forth before Lincoln saw an opportunity and kicked him backwards. Bellamy hit the mat before getting up and sending him knee into Lincoln's side. With Lincoln hunched over and stumbling back he ran and jumped sending a hard punch into his face.
Just when Bellamy made his way to finish Lincoln, Lincoln grabbed his arm and send him flying over his shoulder. But he short short when he went to punch Bellamy. Lincoln straightened up and looked over the group watching them spar.
"He had me, but he was too aggressive." He addressed them about what they had just witnessed.
It Bellamy a moment to gather his breath before making his way over to his belongings. "Whatever you say."
"Quitting so soon?" Lincoln asked as Bellamy went to put his shirt back on.
With that said Nia made her way inside. Gazes shifted toward her as she walked over to Bellamy.
"Mapping run. Sector 7." She informed her brother. She knew he'd hate the information but it was what they had to do.
"Harper, let's get this over with." Bellamy spoke before Lincoln could interject. The blonde threw a bag over to Lincoln. "The council wants you to have that."
Lincoln pulled a Skaikru guard jacket from the bag. He looked at his sister but she offered no look of advice as she held a blank stare. She herself didn't know what to think. This offered a higher position and would allow more trust to come if the people saw him or her wear it. But could she ever wear the jacket herself?
"I'm Trikru." Lincoln countered still trying to figure out how to feel about the jacket.
"A uniform doesn't change that. This is our home now, Lincoln. We fought for it." Bellamy spoke to Lincoln before speaking to the others in the room. "Too many of our friends died for it. On the Ark, the uniform meant something different. Down here, it means what we make it mean. Together." He finished saying before speaking in a soft tone to Lincoln. "My sister will understand that eventually."
Bellamy walked over to Nia and gave her a quick peck before he grabbed her hands and they walked out of the room. Lincoln ordered those to begin fighting before he followed the couple quickly out.
"Hey." He said stopping them in their tracks. "Sector 7? That puts you right at the Ice Nation border." He spoke more to his sister.
She knew the risks they were taking but it was Abby who had sanctioned this mission. Nia originally wasn't suppose to go but when she found out where she joined.
"I know." Bellamy was the one to speak. On missions he was the one in charge but Nia help if they ever ran into others.
"Just because Azgeda is part of the Commander's coalition doesn't mean they respect the ceasefire. I should be on that scout." Lincoln informed. He didn't like the idea of sending a team toward enemy territory.
Nia sighed as she knew this would happen once he found out. The teaching helped him become occupied but three months of not being let outside the walls was now taking its toll. She hated leaving him there. He had always been the one to roam around the woods and not he was restricted to stay put for his own safety.

"I wish. We all do. But until the commander agrees to lift the kill order on you, you're more trouble than your worth." Bellamy spoke hoping he'd understand. But the look on his face was unsure.
"We'll be okay, Linc. We can handle ourselves." Nia provided and finally Lincoln nodded still not happy with the situation. Nia sent him a smile before she walked backwards in the direction they were going. "We'll be back soon."
The couple reached a corridor that split in different direction. Nia informed Bellamy she would make sure her horse was ready while he spoke with Abby.
When she reached the stables she saw that her horse was already prepped and ready to go. Jade and Fox were the two to always make sure her horse was ready before missions. Nia thought that the two thought if they contributed to helping her she would allow them to come. But it took Nia a whole month and half for her to even let Fox out on her first hunt.
She patted the horse's mane for a minute before Jade popped up quickly. The girl begged her to go and Nia simply chuckled.
"I'm not in charge of this mission, little one. Therefore I cannot say if you can or vannot come." She worded simply but the girl figured it out quickly and began to pull her in the direction of the Ark. Jade would ask Bellamy if she could go.
Nia spotted Octavia and pointed to her horse. The brunette understood the notion and nodded.
It wasn't long till they found Bellamy inside the hanger that held the ranger they had found. He had been talking with Gina and it gave Nia an uneasy feeling. The girl had known the two were together but still showed interest in Bellamy making Nia unnerving. But she still allowed Bellamy to befriend her, Nia fully trusted Bellamy's intentions. But when she saw the girl hand something to Bellamy and stare up at him it made her sick. Luckily for her Jade had spotted Bellamy and called his name loudly.
"Bell, Nia won't let me come and said I have to ask you." The girl ranted off as she quickly drag Nia over.
Bellamy looked over at Nia who sent him a pointed look. They both knew the girl wouldn't stop asking until she had gotten the answer she wanted. The book in his hand gave him a idea.
"I'll tell you what, you take this book and if you can tell me what you read, you can come on the next mission." He offered the ultimatum. If it was any other mission then he would've allowed her but not this.
Jade was going to counter until she saw the title of the book. She remembered the stories Bellamy had told her about it and now he held it in his hand. Eagerly, she grabbed the book and gave him a hug and ran back to one of their rooms.
With Jade gone, Bellamy looked over at Nia. "Why do I have to be the one who tells her no?" He asked her jokingly as he stepped toward her.
"Because if she kept asking me, I would've gave in." Nia informed before placing a kiss on his lips. They shared a sweet smile before making their way over to the Rover.
They didn't noticed the lingering pair of eyes that were on them since they had entered. Gina hated the fact that the three had looked like a family in such a short amount of time. She had liked Bellamy since they had been on the Ark but she never had his full attention. The first couple days on the ground made her wonder if she could actually have him but it was crushed when she saw the way he looked at her.

So there she stood watching at how he interacted with his friends with her standing by his side. She knew she should cut her loses and move on but something wouldn't allow her two. She stared until they were piling into the car and getting ready to leave.
"Be safe." Bellamy told Nia as he gave her a deep kiss. On every mission she rode her horse. She had never ridden in the Rover since that first time and Bellamy didn't like it. If something were to happen there was no guarantee he would get to her on time.
She jogged ahead of Rover to get to her horse quickly but when the doors opened Octavia ran up with Nia's horse beside her. Nia mounted quickly just when she heard Octavia's speak.
"Try and keep up." She shouted as her and Nia shared a smile. Nia sent the Rover a grin as her and Octavia took off toward the gate, the Rover not far behind.
They had been traveling for quite some time. Nia and Octavia on either side of the Rover when they reached the open plain. Suddenly, Jasper popped out of the turret and began to cheer. Nia had been worried about Jasper as she watched him suffer without accepting the help others had offered. But his cheering was stopped short when the Rover stopped quickly. The girls pulled their horses to the back doors and slid off.
"Don't tell me we missed the party." Octavia said as she pulled the door open. Nia stood behind her wondered what had made them stop so suddenly.
"Sector 8." Raven said but offered no explanation.
"That's Ice Nation." Nia commented getting a bad feeling at where this was going.
"What about it?" Octavia asked trying to figure out what was going on.
"Protocol says we go home. Let the Chancellor decide what to do next." Raven informed them all.
"Screw protocol." Bellamy's frustration coming through. Nia didn't like the idea one bit. "The Chancellor's not from Farm Station. Monty is. So is Miller's boyfriend. It's your call."
"Let's do this." Miller encouraged.
"You have to ask?" Monty agreed.
Bellamy reached over to the door and sent the girls a smirk not noticing the look on Nia's face. "Try and keep up." She joked to the two before closing the door.
When they approached the woods Nia was on edge. She got off her horse and readied her bow. She was going to be ready for anything that might happen.
"These woods must be the border." Bellamy commented as they piled out of the Rover.
"So, where's all the ice?" Miller asked. Everyone thought Nia would be the one to answer but Octavia responded.
"Much further North. Azgeda stretches for 1,000 miles." She informed them as they made their way to the front of the Rover.
"Lincoln's still teaching you. Good. I hope you're ready for this." Nia spoke up her eyes still trained on the woods.
Bellamy noticed her on edge and figure they should be ready too. So he began to order everyone around. He tried to keep Raven with the Rover but Octavia argued against it. It wasn't till Monty informed them that the beacon was moving closer to them that caused them to ready themselves.
Three horses made their way through the trees and stopped in front of them. Nia's arrow aimed as everyone except Octavia followed her lead.
"Ice nation?" Bellamy asked about their presence.
"Yes. White war paint. Stay calm. No sudden movements." Nia told them with her bow ready for a quick attack.
"Who are you?" The leader of them asked. He could see the Commander bracelet on Nia's wrist but wanted to know who the others were.
"Skaikru. Looking for our people." Octavia was the one to speak for them.
"Looking for Wanheda." The other said from behind them. The name caused Nia to tense. A movement Bellamy had caught.
"They think were looking for Wanheda." Octavia translated.
"Who's that?" Bellamy questioned hoping Nia would answer but received no word.
"I don't know." Octavia answered. Monty spoke about a beacon and without warning Jasper walked forward. Octavia tried to pull him back but he shook her off.
Bellamy saw Nia aim her bow and knew she wouldn't hesitate to fire at one wrong move. Quickly, he spoke with Octavia before Nia could do anything rash.
"Tell them we observe the Commander's truce. Do it now." Octavia relayed it quickly.
Jasper pulled the beacon off his belt before trying to walk away. But he didn't get far as he was yanked back and a knife placed on his throat. This caused everyone to raise their weapons and shout for Jasper to be released.
Shouts sounded from both sides before the leader saw the boy smile. He said something to him before dragging his knife across his skin. At the first sign of blood Nia fired her arrow into the leader's shoulder.
Seeing the other raise his arrow to her Bellamy shot him quickly before everyone else fired. When the leader got back up Octavia yell for Jasper to duck while she grabbed her sword and chucked it at him.
The radio sounded as Bellamy rushed back to answer. Nia made her way and pulled her arrow from the dead warrior's shoulder before making her way to Jasper. She grabbed a cloth from her pocket and pressed it against the wound. Everyone yelled at Jasper's irrational actions as they made him lean against the Rover.
"He needs to get to medical." Nia informed cutting off any other criticism that would be fired his way.
Bellamy had gotten off the radio with Kane and the tone of the conversation told him that something was up. That along with Nia's reaction made him wonder if it might be about this Wanheda.
He began ranting off instructions as he made his way back toward the group. He told Miller to grab one of their horse but before the boy could go get one Nia stopped him.
"No, take mine. If Alec or Lincoln see it they might think Azgeda is attacking." Nia recommended. Bellamy sighed after she told Miller what to do. He had wanted her to go back with them but she seemed too have decided to go with him.
"Who is Wanheda?" Bellamy asked her directly as they made their way to Sector 4 where Kane was waiting.
Nia sighed knowing he would ask her this. And with them on their way to meet Kane she knew what this meant but she couldn't be the one to tell him.
"Everything will be explained when we get there." She simply provided knowing it would frustrate him more.
He didn't say another word as the three continued to make their way there. He had a bad feeling about this meeting and he could only hope that it would disrupt their peace.
A/N: And we are now entering Season three. I know that the Azgeda's queen is named Nia but for the sake of the book lets name her Syra. (Pronounced like Sarah.)
