《Skaikru ☣ Bellamy Blake [2]》Arkadia

Nia woke up with her head on Bellamy's chest. As she studied his face she recalled the events from the night. The way his hands had been on her. The feeling of his lips on her skin. It seemed almost like a dream to her as she laid there.
Too lost in her thoughts she hadn't noticed he had woke until she felt him draw patterns on her back. He would linger on her kill marks on her left shoulder blade before going to the arrow that lined her spine. Her right arm held one on her upper arm with her clan symbol on her forearm with a healer symbol next to it.
They stayed in that moment intertwine with one another. But because of their influential status they had to deal with the camp around them.
Before Nia could go further from Bellamy he pulled her back into a kiss and they went to their own business. Bellamy would be speaking with Kane while Nia would get ready for her trip to Polis the next day.
When she had finished packing her stuff she had left to find her brother. She hadn't spoken much with him and wondered how he was dealing with the kill order. The two had hunted and fought together since they were little, so having Nia on her own is a difference.
She was able to locate him with Jade training with another sword. The girl was still little but she needed to master more than her own sword.
"She's doing well." Nia commented as she approached Lincoln after he sent the girl off.
"She's a fast learner." Lincoln input as he set the sword he was using down.
"She has a good teacher." Nia added as she took a seat beside Lincoln. "Which is surprising seeing how you haven't had a good fight in awhile." She teased and nudged his shoulder a bit.
"Says you." He fired back with a smile.
"I don't know being behind these walls, you may have lost your touch." Nia stood before standing up and anything that might get in the way. She knew where she was going with her teasing and it was only a moment before Lincoln would to.
"Wanna test that theory, Zhalia?" Lincoln said standing as the two began to circle one another.
Nia sent him a smile before she charged forward and swung. Lincoln sidestepped her attack and blocked her next punch. He grabbed ahold of her wrist but that didn't stop her from being her knee into his side.
He stumbled back before regaining his balance. She kicked her leg up but he ducked down missing her foot. Taking an advantage of his position he swung out his leg kicking her out from underneath her. She landed on her back and sprung back up quickly.
All of these antics caused some to gather around and watch as the siblings battled each other. When Kane and Bellamy arrived they went to break them apart but were stopped quickly by Alec.

"They are training." He told them allowing them to take a step back. "They won't go to far. They know what they're doing."
Wordlessly, the two took a step back and watched as they advanced toward one another again.
This time Lincoln attacked he went to tackle only for her to step aside. She kicked at the back of his leg causing him to tumble to the ground. She rushed over to gather in into a headlock but it didn't keep him down. He got back up but this time Nia had clung to his back still trying to wrap her around.
Not being able to pry her arm way he had went to get her off his back. With minimal force he forced them both into the wall of the ark. The impact caused Nia to lose her grip and slip off him.
She pushed herself off the wall and ran back to Lincoln. This time her punch managed to land on Lincoln's cheek. But when she sent another one Lincoln grabbed her arm and twisted around her. He held it in a firm grip and managed to get her back to him. Using his other arm he wrapped it around her neck before releasing her arm and applying a bit of pressure.
Carefully, he began to increase the pressure of his hold waiting for her to tap him arm. Nia pulled at his arm before trying to jam her elbow into his side. But nothing caused his hold to loosen. Once he had gotten her to her knees, she let out a sigh before tapping at his forearm.
He released his grip quickly and Nia drew in a breath. He looked down at her sent her a cocky smile.
"You were saying Zhalia." He teased her and held a hand to help her up.
"It would've gone differently if the knives were involved." Nia shot back.
The sound of applause brought their attention to the crowd that had gathered. Most held looks of astonishment while others tried to recall what they had just witnessed.
"That was entertaining." Marcus complemented as he stepped toward the two.
"I'm surprised it took so long for Lincoln to take Nia down. After all she is tiny." Alec spoke out from his spot beside Bellamy. He held a mischievous smirk as he stare at them. No one said a word as they wondered what they would do next.
Nia looked over at her brother who sent her an encouraging nod. Without warning she charged Alec this time knocking him to the ground. She sent a couple punches before he managed to shove her off.
He went up to her she the two began to throw punches at each other. Alec having a height advantage gave Nia some difficulty. Seeing this Lincoln would yell things to her and Nia did it without hesitation.
She managed to grab ahold of his neck before bring her knee to his side. She sent a few knees before Alec around her knee on the next try. Using her small frame he lifted her by the knee and under her arm and sent her flying toward into a table covered with various items.

The toss knocked the wind out of her but only for a moment. Before anyone could assist her she grabbed an item and when Alec came close she swung it at his head. He stumbled back with his back toward Nia and quickly she shot forward.
This time she had a firm grip around his neck. She restrained his arm movements by wrapping her other arm around his arm and locking it behind his head. Finally, she locked her legs around his waist, she was determined to pin him.
Alec tried to get her off his back but without the use of his other arm made it difficult. Giving in he tapped her elbow and she released immediately. He hunched over as he regained his breath. The sibling shared a smile before Nia commented.
"What was that Alec? I couldn't quite remember." She said with a grin. Alec waved her off causing some to laugh at their antics.
"We should let you guys to medical. Have you checked out as a precaution." Marcus recommended as he looked over their states.
Alec had a slight cut for the punches that Nia had sent. The hits Nia took were pretty big hits and he wanted to ensure of her stability. But both males would most likely have bruising on their side from the knees they had taken.
"We don't need-" Nia began to speak only being cut off by Bellamy.
"You have to get looked at." He insisted as he went to assist her to medical. The other two following as they thought it would be the better option.
Abby was shocked when she saw them entered and she sat them all on beds. She checked on Nia first before going over to Alec while Jackson looked Lincoln over.
"What happened?" She questioned Marcus who waited for her to finish her exams.
"Training." Nia was the one to answer. "It was nothing we couldn't handle."
"It was rather entertaining." Marcus commented but the look on Abby's face made him go silent.
"It was nothing Abby. We have suffered worse than this." Nia tried to reassure her.
"How did you managed to do this to Alec?" Abby questioned as she began to stitch his cut.
"Lincoln taught me to fight." She began to explain. "He one of the best teachers I had."
"It's true. He one of the best combat fighters." Alec supported Nia's statement.
As she heard the two speak about Lincoln and she saw the damaged they had done to one another. She also saw how Lincoln how been training Jade and Fox. She realized how good of fighters they were and how the guards weren't that skilled.
"I'd hate to impose," she began to speak when she was finished with Alec's stitches, "but Lincoln how would you like to train our new guards? We were discussing on adding more guards. But our guards are not training that well in combat."
Nia was shocked to hear the request. But as she thought of it, it might be a way to keep him occupied. He wouldn't have to worry about what is going on outside those walls.
"It would help a lot." Abby tried to persuade after a moment of silence.
Lincoln nodded after a minute. If ihe was suppose to stay inside the wall at least this would help keep his mind off the kill order. He hated the fact that Nia would be out there without him begin able to watch out for her. Now Octavia was beginning to venture beyond the wall. But there was nothing he could do. Besides helping Jade and Fox had been a big help when he thought of leaving the walls once in awhile.
Abby smiled before she went to speak with Bellamy and Marcus for an area that they could use for training. Jackson began to speak with Alec allowing Nia to speak with Lincoln.
"This will be good for you, Linc." Nia reassured him about his decision. "It will keep your mind here and not out there."
"But Nia-" Lincoln tried to speak but Nia cut him off quickly.
"You don't have to worry about me or Octavia. You trained us to be the best fighters we can be." Nia comforted as she leant her head against his shoulder.
Lincoln sighed as they drew the calmness from each other. They were going to be okay until Lincoln was able to go out with her. He needed to help her keep the peace as much as he could.
The days that passed after were calm. No attacks happened and they had begun to come together inside their camp. Nia had gone back and fore to Polis and had brought back two other horses for Alec and Octavia. The girl was grateful for it and tried to venture outside often which her brother and boyfriend wasn't enthusiastic about.
But on one particular day she had questioned Marcus and Abby about the name of their home. After the explanation she wondered why they would continue to name the place after someone who had abandoned them in a time of need.
This got them both thinking. They should rename their home. Their home should represent them as a group. Something that reminded them of who they were and what they had endured.
Arkadia. This is what they would call their home. This is where they would build their future. This was their home.
