The next couple of days flew by. Tate was never physically far away and when he was, my mind would just wander to him. I was hooked! I forgot all my worries about school and what the end of the summer would bring. I forgot about Kimber. It was just the two of us and nothing else mattered.

Thursday morning, I woke up to the sun just starting to peak through the East facing window of my room. I was not ready to start the day, looking at my alarm clock at 5:30 am, just great! But there was a long list of things that I had been neglecting this week and needed to get them done. So, I drug myself out of bed reluctantly and just about face planted as I tripped over a pile of dirty clothes.

Grumbling to myself about laundry, I trudged to the bathroom to wash my face and throw my hair up in a messy bun. No need to take a show yet, I was going to clean the house. I changed out of dad's old t-shit that I always slept in, not wanting to ruin it while cleaning and just threw on a black sports bra and a pair of gray sweats. No one needed anything fancy while cleaning, right? I grabbed my phone and headset, being too early in the morning I didn't want to wake mom up by playing music as I cleaned.

Loading up the dirty laundry basket and stripping the sheets off my bed and then tip toeing into mom's room I gathered her laundry basket. I walked to the washing machine and separated the clothes by color and threw the first load of laundry in. Going to the kitchen I opened the cabinet door, underneath the sink, and grabbed my old broken-down caddy of cleaning supplies and walked to the bathroom. After half an hour of scrubbing the shower, toilet, sink and mirror the bathroom was almost done. I decided I would clean the rest of the house before worrying about the floors so I could do them all at once.

Dancing my way to the kitchen I loaded the dishwasher, turned it on and scrubbed down the counters, cabinets and table, then took out the trash while dancing to the music flowing through my headphones. Next to the living room. This room was used the least in my house, so it never took long to clean. Finally, after getting all the dusting completed, I grabbed the broom and started sweeping the dark colored laminate flooring. As I swept and mopped, I danced around the house, hey who said you couldn't have fun while cleaning?

I was twirling around in the kitchen when suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around me. Ripping my headphones from my ears I screamed, "AHHH", and using my martial arts training flipped the person over my shoulder. They landed on the floor in front of me on their back, I instantly took up a fighting stance and looked down at my attacker.

"Ow!" the voice rang out. "What the hell?!?"

"Oh, for Goddess Sake Tate!" You hollered at him. "What the hell are you doing breaking into my house and grabbing me like that? I thought you were going to kill me! " I shook my head.

"Geez girl, you sure know how to put someone in their place." I reached out offering my hand to Tate and helped him up.

"So why did you just let yourself into my house?" I asked.

"Well, I came over to see you. Maybe go for a run? " He started, "But I knocked, and you didn't answer, then I saw you dancing around so I let myself in. Speaking of, why would you leave your front door unlocked? "

"Usually I don't have weird people trying to get my attention, so there's no need." You snarked.

Tate growled, "Don't even joke about that!"

I rolled my eyes, "I took the trash out 10 minutes ago. Usually the door is locked you jerk. "

"Do you have time to go for a run?" He asked.

"Umm... yeah, I am done cleaning for now until the laundry is ready to be changed again. But, let me check on my mom first. I need to let my wolf out for a while anyway. It's been a while since she got to run. "

Tate

It was about 7:30 when I woke up, immediately my mind went to Ally. Over the last few days we have been together more than not. And it was just getting harder and harder to stay away from her, our bond was getting stronger the more time we were together. It was like my entire life before her had no meaning and without her I was nothing.

I couldn't stay away from her any longer, so I jumped out of bed and got dressed. I decided to just show up and surprise her. Maybe our wolves could go for a run together, they haven't gotten a chance to properly meet yet.

I pulled up to Ally's house and walked up to the door. I knocked, there was no answer. I knocked again. After a couple of minutes, I was getting impatient, I knew Ally would be up by now. She was an early riser. Peeking through the window of the door I saw her dancing around with a mop and headphones in, no wonder why she couldn't hear me knocking on the door. I chuckled, absolutely loving how carefree she appeared in this moment. I tried to door and when it was unlocked, I let myself in.

I walked over to Ally, figuring that she would feel my presence before I reached her, but she didn't so I decided to scare her, that would be good for a laugh, right? No, not really, the next thing I knew was flying over her shoulder and landing on my back on the floor in front of her. Damn, some Alpha I was if I could be taken down this easily, I shook my head at myself. Ally pulled her headphones from her ears, "Ow! What the hell?!? I said looking up at my mate.

"Oh, for Goddess Sake Tate!" She scolded. "What the hell are you doing breaking into my house and grabbing me like that? I thought you were going to kill me! "

"Geez girl, you sure know how to put someone in their place!" I said as she reached out offering my hand and helping me off the floor.

"So why did you just let yourself into my house?" she asked, I think finally realizing her attire, because she crossed her arms over her chest like she was trying to cover herself. I smirked at her failed attempt but said nothing.

"Well, I came over to see you. Maybe go for a run? " Ally rolled her eyes, like that wasn't much of an answer to the question of why I just walked into her house. "But I knocked, and you didn't answer, then I saw you dancing around so I let myself in. Speaking of, why would you leave your front door unlocked? "

"Usually I don't have weird people trying to get my attention, so there's no need." she snarked.

Growling I said, "Don't even joke about that!"

Ally rolled her eyes at me, "I took the trash out 10 minutes ago. Usually the door is locked you jerk. "

"Do you have time to go for a run?" He asked.

"Umm... yeah, I am done cleaning for now until the laundry is ready to be changed again. But, let me check on my mom first. I need to let my wolf out for a while anyway. It's been a while since she got to run. "

Half an hour later Ally and I were walking out the back door of her house, towards the woods. We each walked behind a tree to strip and transform into our wolves. I walked out from behind my tree a couple just moments before Ally did. As I saw her wolf step around the tree, she took my breath away. I had never seen such a graceful and beautiful wolf with a chocolate brown coat with golden eyes, she stood only a few inches smaller than my gray wolf. We were in complete awe of the wolf that stood before us!

"Mate is beautiful." Knox commented, walking over to Ally rubbing our muzzle on her face. Ally reciprocated by rubbing our face back. Knox purred at the affection that our Mate was giving us.

Ally then licked our face and yipped, jumping around like a puppy. It was adorable to watch her be so light and happy in her wolf form. " Let's go Alpha Boy." Hearing a voice break through the pack link.

"Ally?" I questioned, I knew it had to be, but the tone of her voice was different.

"No, Lily." She said before nipping at my hind legs and then taking off into the woods. Letting Knox take control, we sped off into the wood behind them.

"Lily, I like that name." Knox purred that here. "You better run! I'm going to get you, mate. " He hollered to her in a loving yet menacing way.

Allison

I had given Lily control, after all she needed some time to just be a wolf. It can't be easy to be cooped up every day when all you wanted to do was be free. I knew the feeling, I felt just as trapped as she did. As soon as Lily took over, I knew she was going to let Tate and his wolf have it.

She started by taunting Tate's wolf, "Let's go Alpha Boy."

"Lily! Behave yourself. " You scolded here.

"Not listening to you! Playing with Knox! "

Then I heard Tate, "Ally ?"

"No, Lily." My wolf said, nipping at Tate's, or should I say Knox's hind legs. She then took off into the woods.

"Lily, I like that name." Knox purred that here. "You better run! I'm going to get you, mate. " He was hot on Lily's heels, but little did they know that Lily and I were fast. We spent many years mastering our speed, stamina, and focus there, if any that could truly beat us in a race. Maybe Tate was different though, since he was the Alpha.

" Ally, there's only one way to find out!" Lily said that is when she dropped her haunches and really took off flying through the trees and brush. A wave of happiness and joy was flooding through me feeling the air break around us, running always brought peace and clarity.

About an hour into our run, we came to the lake on the west side of the property. This was one of mine and Lily's favorite place to come. Dad always used to bring me here to go swimming and just spend the day together, it was a place that held bitter sweet memories for me. As we came up to the shore line Lily never slowed down and ran right into the water, swimming out towards the middle of the lake. She gave me back control and I dove underneath the water resurfacing in my human form. When I popped my head back out of the water, I could see Tate sitting on the beach still in his wolf form.

"What are you waiting for? The water is perfect! " I laughed at him. I dove back under the water, swimming further out to the center of the lake, where there was a small island that a lot of the teenagers liked to party. When I resurfaced Tate was no where to be found. I spun around in circles looking for him. "Okay, Tate! Not funny! " I hollered. "Where are you?" I was then drug under the water with two hands wrapped around my ankles.

We then both resurfaced and I pulled in a large gulp of air and splashed a wave of water towards Tate, then wiped my face saying, "That wasn't cool, jerk!"

Tate laughed at me, "That's for beating me at the run and trying to break my back at your house."

"Well, you shouldn't break into houses and grab unsuspecting girls." I grinned, "It's just creepy." I chuckled.

A couple of hours later we made our way back to reality. Our wolves ran and played together as we made our way back to my house. Once we got to my yard, we both transformed back into our human forms and threw our clothes on.

As soon as I walked out, Tate was waiting for me. He quickly wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close, giving me a kiss. "What are you doing this weekend?"

"Nothing really, I just have to go to the store at some point and pick up the last of the things I need on my supply list." I shrugged.

"Supply list?" He questioned.

"Yeah, I'll start my LNA course. It's gonna be 8 weeks Monday through Thursday 8am to 3pm. "

"Yeah, remember. Do you think you could do that on Sunday? " Tate was being a bit cryptic in how he was asking his questions.

"Why?" I replied, drawing out the y and squinting my eyes at him.

"I want to take you away Friday night and Saturday night. Just the two of us. "

"Why?" I asked again with the same squinty eyes.

"Because..." Tate was picking on me now by squinting back and drawing out his words, "Once you start your class you are not going to have as much time to spend with me."

"Ah, muffin!" I squealed. "Are you feeling jealous?" I pulled Tate into my arms and laid my head on his chest.

Tate placed a kiss on top of my head and breathed in deeply. "Yes, I like being with you all the time." Looking up at him I saw that he was blushing. That was something I never thought I would ever see Tate Blackwell do.

I chuckled, "Let me see what I can do. I can't just leave mom, but I'll be McKenna coming in and checking on her for me. " I placed a kiss on his lips.

"Good," he smiled at me. "Goodnight Ally."

"Night Lover Boy." I said as I walked through my back door. I closed the door and locked it, then walked to my bedroom. I flung myself on my bed.

What am I doing? I thought to myself. I can't be this stupid. I am falling for him more and more. What is going to happen when we are at school? What about Kimber? What about the Alpha and our deal? Would he ever accept me as his son's mate? My mind was reeling with questions and emotions that I was sure I wasn't ready to answer or deal with.

"He is our mate." Lily chimed in.

" I know Lily, but there are so many questions."

"Everything is good! Knox loves us and wants us. " She huffed at me.

"Lily," I started, "You know..."

"Tate and Knox are ours! They only love us, no one else. We will be together! " Lily snapped at me. Then closed our link. I know she wasn't liking the thoughts and concerns that were flowing through my mind.

I pushed everything out of my mind, I wasn't going to think about all the what if's and what could go wrong. I was going to focus on just now and the feeling that I was falling completely and totally in love with Tate.
