*3 years later

"Aren't you just a cute little thing?", I cooed, bouncing the 8 month old on my hip.

I glanced back up at Josiah. "So where did you find her?", I asked.

"I found her at the pack border with a note saying that Alpha Halifax would take good care of her.", Josiah answered.

I nodded and turned my attention bacm to the little baby girl.

Her blue eyes regarded me with curiosity and I felt Blake connect with her.

"Can we keep her?", Blake asked, her attention still on the baby.

I thought about it for a moment.

"Yeah, we'll adopt her. In fact, I'm heading over to the adoption center today.", I said.

Blake cheered in my head and I smiled.

"I'm going to keep her. I'll be heading over to the adoption center here in a little bit.", I informed Josiah.

Josiah nodded before walking off.

What am I going to name you?

...

I walked out of the adoption center with the papers.

Strapping her into the baby seat I bought, I looked back at the adoption papers, a wide smile breaking out on my face.

Aurora Colton Halifax.

The second name is a little boyish but I don't care.

It was late by the time I had finalized adopting Aurora, and the Moon was rising into the sky.

I looked up at the Moon and smiled gently.

"I named her after you. She's got your blue eyes even though she's neither of ours."

"He knows. Colton watched the whole time you argued with that lady.", Selene laughed from beside me.

"What? She was getting all upset because I wanted her middle name to be a boy name. It's mybaby, not hers.", I said defensively.

Selene nodded. "Colton sends all of his love. He also says you should've taken up my offer from 3 years ago."

I closed the back door and turned to her.

"I don't need another mate.", I said blankly.

"He's grown a lot up there. Makes jokes all the time."

I smiled. "Like what?"

"He says your going to be the only wolf in history to die a virgin at an old age.", Selene laughed.

"What a dickhead.", I muttered.

"I've gotta go Ryan.", Selene said.

I waved and climbed into the truck, turning it on and leaving the adoption center.

Once we got home, I walked to my room.

Turning around, Dominic was leaned against the frame of my closet door.

"What's up?", I asked.

"Well, the pack heard that you were going to adopt a baby and we decided to pitch in and do this for you while you were gone.", Dominic said, pushing himself off of the door frame.

He opened the door, revealing my home walk in closet turned into a nursery for the baby.

I walked in in awe. "You guys did this for me?", I whispered.

Dominic nodded and I opened the link.

"Thank you guys so much!", I yelled.

"Your welcome Alpha!", they all laughed.

I picked up a sleeping Aurora and laid her in her new crib.

She stuck her thumb in her mouth and I smiled down at her.

I looked ove right Dominic.

"Go spend time with your mate. I'm putting you on a mandatory vacation.", I ordered.

"Do I get paid?", Dominic asked.

"Do I look like a charity?", I retorted.

Dominic laughed and walked out as I looked back at Aurora.

I was content with this life.
