《The Recycled Alpha (Book 1) ✔》Chapter 23

Ryan's P.O.V
I had called the attention of every single wolf in the auditorium.
The Alpha was kneeling, a degrading position for any high ranking member of a pack.
I was forcing him too.
My mate, the Omega, stood off to the side, his head bowed.
"This Alpha, has just told my mate that he was basically going to rape him.", I growled.
The Alpha tried to get up. "I did no such thing!", he cried out.
I dug my fingers into his collarbone and forced him back down.
"It would also seem that this Alpha has been raping my mate for years. Does anyone know who this Alpha is?", I asked.
A wolf stepped forward, followed by others.
"Yeah, that's Alpha Wyatt Gen. He's our Alpha and you need to let him go.", the wolf said, growling slightly.
I arched an eyebrow.
"And you are?"
"Beta Dylan Tinn.", he replied.
"And you are perfectly fine with your Alpha raping a member of the pack?", I asked.
Beta Dylan nodded. "I've even had a few go's at the pathetic Omega."
I snarled. The bloodlust swirled in me as my vision sharpened.
I was something much bigger than just a wolf.
Grinning down at the terrified Alpha as I put more pressure on his collarbone, I heard a bone snap.
"I challenge you for your pack.", I said.
"I decline.", he whispered.
Right after he said that, Alpha Wyatt was on the ground in pain.
I smirked down at him.
"You must've forgot that any Alpha who is challenged and declined automatically loses his pack to the challenger.
You fool.", I laughed.
I felt links click in place and I grinned like a maniac.
Beta Dylan stepped forward.
"I demote you to status of Omega and sentence you to death at dawn for the abuse and rape of your future Luna.", I said, smirking now.
I glanced at my unmated warriors who stood with females at their side.
"I really hate to tear you away from your mates so soon, but take Omega Dylan here to his room and keep watch on him. We leave in a few hours.", I ordered.
The warriors bowed their heads. "Yes Alpha Ryan."
They grabbed the screaming Dylan and dragged him away.
I looked down to the man at my feet.

Now that he is no longer an Alpha, he's a regular pack member in his former pack.
He technically belonged to me.
"Who all hates rapists?", I asked.
Roars met my ears as they all yelled how much they hated rapists.
I picked up Wyatt.
"Then I'll let you guys tear into this one.", I said, throwing Wyatt into the sea of hungry wolves.
They all pounced as he screamed, every wolf fighting for a bite.
"We're leaving mate.", I said, my mate following me.
We caught up to Beta Dominic where he was watching in amusement as the warriors shove a screaming Dylan into the back of a car.
"Ryan!", a voice yelled to me.
I turned and was met with a panting John.
"Yes John?", I asked.
"That was bad ass girl. Congratulations on finding your mate and I hope he treats you well.", John said before walking off.
I turned to my Beta.
"Beta Dominic, did you find your mate?"
"She's already in the truck Alpha Ryan.", Dominic informed me.
I nodded.
"You're sitting in the back. My mate is sitting up front with me.", I said.
Beta Dominic nodded and climbed into the backseat of the truck.
I opened the door for my mate, slamming it closed behind him.
Climbing in myself, I looked over, noticing my mate shivering.
The cold.
Grabbing a blanket from under the seat, I handed it to him.
He grabbed it softly, uttering 2 words to me that made my heart soar and my wolf howl on happiness.
"Thank you."
...
I picked up my sleeping mate, walking into my room.
I laid him down onto my bed and pulled the blanket over him.
No matter how badly I wanted to crawl into that bed with him, I couldn't.
I had to give him time.
Walking out of the room, I sat down at the dinner table and clasped my hands infront of me.
Everyone was asleep, most pack members opting to sleep in the homes instead of the packhouse once they heard of what had happened.
They didn't want to meet a pissed of Alpha Ryan.
"Ryan.", a voice said.
My head shot up and I met the eyes of an ethereal being.
The one told from books, how her beauty was unmatched.
The Moon Goddess.
"Moon Goddess.", I said, bowing my head slightly.

"Just call me Selene.", she said softly.
"What is it you need, Selene?", I asked.
The Moon Goddess only appears to wolves when she needs a favor.
"This is more for this world rather than me. I need you to rise to your full potential.
I need you to cast out those who have wronged many and I need you to kill them.
My wolves are going corrupt, and I need you to take out the ones who are causing the corruption.", Selene informed me.
"And who are those people exactly?", I asked.
"You'll know when you see them. Whenever your vision darkens around the edges and your senses sharpen, that is who you take out.
You go after them, and you send them to me. I will deal with them after that.", she said.
I nodded. "I'll handle it. But I need to build up my numbers and strength. I just got a new pack tonight and I'm 99% sure they can't fight worth shit."
Selene laughed. "You are right on that one. I'll give you your time, Ryan."
Within a blink of an eye, Selene was gone and I was alone.
As usual.
"Mate is awake! Mate needs us!", Blake panicked.
I heard a glass shatter upstairs and I took off.
I slammed the door open and took in my bleeding mate.
He had deep cuts on his wrists and I felt my heart break as his breathi g started slowing down.
A tear ran down my cheek as I rushed to him, yanking open my button up shirt and taking it off.
I applied pressure to his wounds.
"Why would you do this mate? Please, I've been wanting you for years. Don't do this to me.", I cried, my forehead touching his.
"JENNY! GET TO MY ROOM NOW! BRING YOUR SUPPLIES!", I screamed at her through the link.
I could hear my mate's heartbeat slowing as I held onto him tightly, rocking us back and forth.
"Goddess don't take him!", I sobbed. "Please!"
Jenny ran in, taking in his bleeding wrists and my broken form.
She took out a needle, threading it and getting to work.
"He's going to need a blood transfusion Alpha. Seeing as we don't have any information on him, we're going to have to use your blood.", Jenny rushed as she cut the thread.
"Take it all, I I don't care. Just save my mate please!", I begged.
Jenny nodded, putting in an IV and starting the transfusion.
Once it got going good, I could slowly see the color come back into my mate's face.
"Alpha, you can pick him up and put him on the bed now. He's going to be okay.", she whispered.
I nodded, picking him up and putting him on the bed.
Before Jenny left, I stopped her.
"Will you please get my mom for me?", I asked.
Jenny nodded, walking out and going down the hall where my mom was.
My mom could always sleep through just about anything so she wouldn't hear the commotion.
My mom came in and laid a hand on my shoulder.
"Who is he?", she asked.
"I don't know his name. I never got to ask but he's my mate and I already love him.", I whispered.
"He's broken, isn't he?"
"I don't care if he's broken or damaged or even if he's perfect. He's the other half of me, we fit together like puzzle pieces.
He completes me and without him, I'll never be whole. He's my Luna, the only one I'll bow to, the only one I'll submit to.", I said.
There was a moment of silence.
"He's my King. And I'll give him everything, the whole world if he wants it. I'd gladly sell my soul for him. I'd do anything for my mate.
Whether he wants me or not, I want him to know that I want him.
And if he doesn't want me, then I'll let him reject me and go. Because no matter how much of a monster I may be to other wolves, I will not be one to him. I'll fight for him, but I will not force my love on him.", I finished.
I didn't even notice that my mate was awake and staring at me.
"Do you mean that?", he asked.
I nodded, a tear falling from my eye.
"I meant every single thing. If you don't want me, then that's okay. Just let me prove to you that I'm worthy enough of you.", I whispered to him.
He just nodded and closed his eyes.
I sighed and leaned against the nightstand.
Soon enough, I was falling asleep.
