Ryan's P.O.V

The sun shone in my eyes as I opened them.

Who gave the sun permission to shine so bright?

I rolled out of bed, landing on the floor with a dull thud.

"Oomph", I groaned.

Slowly untangling myself from my covers, I stood up stretching.

My ears popped and noise rushed to my ears much louder than before.

A loud beeping noise caused my ears to ring.

I walked over to the window, ripping the curtains open.

Right there was a construction company with a bunch of machines.

Wolf owned construction company.

I rushed to open the drawer of my dresser, throwing on some borrowed clothes and trying to slip on my shoes.

I rushed out the door, putting up my hair into a ponytail.

My silver hair was tangled and made it harder but I managed.

Ever since I was left to die, small changes in my appearance started happening. The hair was a big change.

I ran to my Beta who was standing next to a man.

"Beta Dominic, what is going on here?!", I exclaimed.

"Alpha Ryan, I remembered how you wanted to get a better hospital, a better gym, and some more homes built.

So, I've hired a wolf owned construction company to help us out. I'm sorry I didn't consult you first, I just wanted to surprise you.", Dominic said.

I patted Dominic on the shoulder. "That's fine. Just consult me first next time. Now, who is this?", I asked, feeling the power radiating off of the man.

An Alpha.

"This is the owner of the construction company, Full Moon Construction. He's Alpha John Sawyer of the MoonShine Pack.", Dominic said.

"Alpha Sawyer, this is my Alpha, Alpha Ryan Halifax of the HellHounds Pack.", Dominic introduced.

I held out my hand to Alpha Sawyer and he took it in a strong grip.

Alpha Sawyer slowly applied pressure to my hand, trying to get me to flinch.

It was an old trick. If the Alpha flinched, they were seen as a weak Alpha.

I narrowed my eyes and squeezed harshly back, hearing a slight crack in his hand.

Alpha Sawyer let go of my hand and gave me a firm nod.

"It's nice to meet you Alpha Halifax.", Alpha Sawyer grumbled.

"It's nice to meet you too, Alpha Sawyer. Once you are finished here, you do not mention us to anyone. Only your pack will know.", I replied, my back stiff.

"May I ask why?", he asked.

"I want to come out into the world on my own. I don't need another Alpha announcing me.", I growled.

Alpha Sawyer just nodded in reply.

"I would like to speak to you, Alpha Sawyer. Will you come with me to my office?", I asked.

I needed an alliance.

I had some things to offer if he would be willing.

He nodded and I led the way, feeling his stare burning into the back of my head.

I opened my office door, allowing Alpha Sawyer to step in before I closed the door behind us.

"What is it that you want?", Alpha Sawyer asked.

His muscles were tensed as he glanced around warily.

He thought I was going to attack him.

"I want an alliance. Sit down, I'm not going to attack you. That would be a foolish move to someone who may be able to help me.", I grinned.

Alpha Sawyer sat down warily but he was still tense.

"What do you have that can benefit me?", he grumbled.

"What a grumpy man.", Blake mused.

"Well, you'll have a powerful ally.", I grinned.

"Powerful ally? You only have 150 pack members and you just became an official pack yesterday.", Alpha Sawyer pointed out.

I sat back, my fingers drumming on the desk.

I looked around the room before catching Alpha Sawyer's eyes and grinning like a madman.

"I'm going to let you in on a little secret. If you tell anyone, well that won't go very well for you. What do you say? Wanna hear it?", I asked.

Alpha Sawyer looked around before sighing. "You've piqued my curiosity. What is your little secret?"

I sat forward, interlacing my fingers together and leaning against the desk.

"I'm the former Alpha Queen.", I whispered.

"That's not possible. Alpha King Micheal said that his daughter died in a rogue attack while trying to protect one of her pack members.", Alpha Sawyer growled.

He stood up and walked to the door. "I'm leaving."

"Sit down.", I snarled, this command weighing heavily.

Even though I no longer had my Queen position, I would always have the power of the command.

Alpha Sawyer sat down and I smiled.

"Micheal lied, Alpha Sawyer. My pack and him betrayed me, leaving me for dead in No Man's Land. I was rescued by Beta Dominic and I trained these wolves into who they are now.

We were all rogues, but now we're a pack. We've risen from the ashes and the Queen has come back.", I grinned, my eyes turning dark.

Blake was just under the surface. She wanted to prove to him that we were the former Alpha Queen.

Alpha Sawyer's eyes widened. I leaned back as he took in my face.

"It's you. Why would Alpha King Micheal do that though?", he asked.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"I don't know nor do I care. All I want is to rise in the ranks and take my rightful place as Queen. My pack will be there with me also.

But the real question is will you?", I questioned, staring into his eyes.

"If I say yes to the alliance, I get a powerful ally to call on, and some other resources. You would get the same thing, correct?"

I just nodded.

"Then I'll take the alliance. And I won't tell anybody about you. Only my pack and I will now.", Alpha Sawyer said.

"Perfect.", I grinned.

I stood up and we shook hands, a mutual respect in the air.

We walked out and down the stairs.

"Do you want to see why we chose the name HellHounds for our pack?", I asked.

"I was curious about that.", Alpha Sawyer replied.

"Wait here.", I said.

I mindlinked my pack for the first time.

"We have an new ally who would love to know why we chose the name HellHounds. Can everybody be shifted out front of the packhouse?", I asked.

"Yes Alpha!", they yelled, eager to show off their wolves.

5 minutes later and I got the mindlink.

"Everyone who could shift is ready and waiting outside, Alpha.", Dominic informed me.

"Let's go. They're ready.", I said.

Alpha Sawyer trailed behind me and I opened the front door.

Stelling out onto the porch, I stepped to the side.

Alpha Sawyer gasped at the lines of wolves that stood in front of him.

"They're huge!", he exclaimed.

I smiled in pride. "This is my pack. Each wolf is taller than the average grown male wolf. Our shortest wolf is 6 feet even.

My Delta is a 14 year old boy and his wolf size is 6'2.", I informed, still smiling.

"Holy shit. How tall is your wolf?", Alpha Sawyer asked.

"Well, my wolf Blake was at 7 feet tall even when I was betrayed. Blake is not at 7'5 feet tall.", I replied.

His mouth dropped open as he walked away, his hand waving.

"I've got to go see how my wolves are doing. Goddess them wolves are literally from hell though.", he mumbled under his breath.
