《The Recycled Alpha (Book 1) ✔》Prologue

The wolf's lips pulled back as a snarl broke free. The sound of the crowd whispering was a distant noise. Her muscles tensed as she prepared for the fight that would soon follow.
Her opponents stared at her with disgust. They would tear into her if she wasn't careful.
The rules of this fight were different. She had to fight triplets to keep her position. If she lost, she lost her position, her pack, her womb, and her life. She'd become the mate of 3 men.
Or boys, if you ask her.
As another snarl was released, the pack she lived in sat forward, awaiting her demise. They would be happy she would no longer control them.
They would be happy that she was no longer Alpha Queen.
She'd become a shadow, a distant memory.
Her father's cold stare met her's. Hate filled his eyes. She was a disgrace to the werewolf kingdom. Or so he said.
One of the 3 boys growled at her. Her hackles raised as she crouched lower to the ground.
The 3 boys all bared their teeth at her before running at her, aiming to tackle.
She dodged, her form not so easily sliding under them.
Her wolf stood at her full height. Standing at 7 feet tall, she was intimidating. Oh Goddess was she powerful too.
One of the boys threw a punch at her face, catching her completely off guard. She grunted loudly, pain exploding between her eyes.
Before the boy could get his fist away from her face, she snatched it up and immediately crushed. They played tug of war with his arm for a little bit. His brothers and him pulled one way while she pulled the other.
His screams got louder as a tearing sound was heard throughout the arena. She applied more force in her pull back and the arm popped right off of the body.

She dropped it as the boy crumpled to the ground, now unconscious from blood loss and pain.
One of the other boys shifted into his wolf and tackled her to the ground. As he snarled in her face, drool dripped onto it.
She pulled away a little bit before slamming her wolf head into his. He stumbled from the pain and she took the opening. She latched onto his neck as he started bucking around.
He fell to the floor, landing on her. Her right ribcage shattered to pieces. Some pieces floated up and punctured her lungs. She ripped out the boy's neck as he bled out.
The wolf crawled out from under him before noticing the third boy morning the loss of his brothers. Her heart tinged with slight guilt, but was soon replaced with anger. It was his fault.
Her pack now sat back, knowing she would win. Anger filled the air, mainly theirs, but some hers.
She ended the remaining boy's life quickly, not wanting to draw it out any longer.
She stepped to the middle of the arena. Her wolf was visibly wheezing out of her mouth, blood mixing with saliva and dripping in long strands to the floor.
The wolf howled in victory, a long throaty howl. Pack members soon followed with one of their own, acknowledging her as their reigning Alpha and Queen.
With one last hard look to her father, she limped away.
Her mother? Where was her mother?
A wolf laugh escaped her. Oh right. She forgot. How silly of her.
Her mother was dead. At the hands of her father.
"Life couldn't get any shittier.", Alpha Queen Ryan thought.
"Oh, but it could. And it will.", her wolf, Blake, whispered to her.
