《The Alpha And The Shy Girl?》Why Me?

I woke up the next morning with a sudden longing to go outside, and so I got up carefully from bed, trying to pry off Jaxon's hand from around my waist.
I tip toed to the bathroom, did hat ever I had to do, dressed and let my hair be lose; I'm going to shift anyways.
I stepped out the front door and jogged to the tree border, as quietly as possible, since most probably everyone in the pack is still sleeping.
When the pack house was out of view, I started to slowly jog, and after a few minutes I was running full speed.
As I started to slow down, I noticed that I've run quite far from the pack house and I wasn't even sure if I still was on my packs territory.
I started to look around, panicking a bit being alone in the woods not knowing where I even am.
As I started to slowly walk towards where I thought the pack house was, I heard a crunching sound behind me and felt a pinch on my thigh. My body suddenly collapsed and the last words I heard until I blacked out were "I finally have you, mi amor".
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up in a bed, in a small room, and as my eyes adjusted, panicky began to settle in. This was not mine and Jaxon's room. The walls were a different color and the bed wasn't king sized. As I looked around, memories of what happened flashed in my head, and cold sweat broke out in my skin as I looked down at my self. Thankfully, I had a long t-shirt with underwear on me, although nothing else.
I heard the door to the room squeal open as a face I hoped I never saw.
"You!" I screamed-whispered, afraid that if I raised my voice, Nikolas would kill me that vey second.
"Good morning, mi amor" he said, as he slowly approached the bed.
Every step he took forward I took a slide backwards in the bed, until my back hit the headboard and Nikolas was looming over me.
"Who would have thought that Jaxon's little mate would be out in the woods, far from the pack house and completely defenseless" he laughed, although I was completely unamused.
"Let me go and Jaxon might let you live" I said in a low tone full with authority, that I never knew I possessed.
"Let you go? But the fun hasn't even started yet, mi amor" he smirked back.
"Quit calling me that!".
"Oh, but you will like it, having no choice but to love me back too, when I'll mate you and mark you as mine. Then, you will become my mate".
"That's not possible" I said, with fear lacing my voice.
"Oh, but it is. Once I mark you and take your virginity, two days will pass without Jaxon even seeing you, and then, you will be my mate".
"Why?"I asked, not caring if fear shone tight through my eyes.
"Because I always get what I want, mi amor".
He started to crawl on the bed as I squirmed on it, trying and failing to find an exit front his room that doesn't include coming nearer to Nikolas. He grabbed my ankle and pushed me beneath him, holding my hands above my head so I could do nothing but shake my head from side to side, with tears streaming down my face.
"No, please no".
"If you stop moving and relax it might even be enjoyable for you" he said as a matter of fact, as he took off his shirt and trousers in less than a second. He tore my shirt off and I was left in nothing but the underwear and bra they put on me; thong and lace.
He reached out for my bra as a ear shattering roar rang out through the whole building Nikolas was keeping me in, and my hear skipped a beat as I recognized it. Jaxon.
“Hello! My humble audience! I, the Bard of the North, am going to tell you a tale. Nothing new, nothing old. A story of a hero, some may say, others a poor boy who was hated by the world.” The storyteller paused as he waited, right timing was everything when telling a story. Pacing… Too slow and the audience became bored then left without tossing even the smallest of coins. If he spoke too fast and rushed the story. It would leave the audience confused and having no reason to be impressed. So like any good storyteller, the Bard has to do a balancing act of sorts. Not too slow, not too fast. Just perfectly in the middle. “In a shattered country in the south, a novice princeling has the ambition to mend a torn tapestry that is his birthplace. Struggling to fend off those who would usurp the throne in an unending civil war spanning centuries. A mercenary that left only death in his wake, unable to stave off the monotony and peace of life. He looks back at the path laden with bodies, wondering if it was all worth it. Wandering souls summoned by a madman, travel away from a wasteland in a foreign land, the first alone, the others as companions. A deity, ancient in her years, waiting to be freed from a duty she no longer enjoys. For all these people and their stories, none are the hero of this tale. No, the hero is not grand, not wise, not ready.. he was punished for nothing of his doing, who was an outcast that was unloved by many, including his father.” This was always the big reveal novices use to jump off into their story. He did not start here, instead, like any good fishermen, he set the bait and waited until the fish bit before pulling. As he saw the audience's eyes focus, he then started the backstory. The harness, that stopped the listeners from having metaphorical whiplash. The foreshadowing. “But that is not where the story starts. No, not even the hero's birth. Where the story begins, is the boredom of the deity, a deity many know of. She who hunts for the impossible, the guide for those who have lost the path, the Huntress of Mallon--” A small pause, a short breath. “--All old names for a single powerful being that has roamed the grounds of this continent longer than any line of kings or queens, lords or ladies. A being of worship for many an individual…” One last breath. And he began singing the first verse.
I'll leave this old version up for people to compare with the new one. Like a public first first draft. -Ando
