The two locked eyes with such and intense stare that lasted nearly ten minutes with out another word from either Dream or George's mouth.
George's dad finally decided to say something to break the awkward silence and staring contest between his son and the strange boy who let him in.
"You two know each other I assume.. Dream?" He said confused as to why someone would name their kid that. Well he sounded American so that explains it.
Still, neither of the boys said a word. Both just looking at each other.
"Honey let's- let's step out side for a minute." George's mum said pushing her husband out the door, leaving the two in the room by themselves.
Eventually one would speak right?
...Right?
What seemed like an eternity, George finally broke the eye contact and looked at the ground frustrated.
"I sent you a text, and nothing all day.. I thought you were just getting my hopes up." George said softly while meeting Dream's eyes again.
Dream scoffed and walked to sit on his bed.
"Really? Because I waited all day the morning I gave you my number. I thought you'd never text."
George heard how the other was upset just by his voice.
"Look, let me just get my stuff in so my parents can leave. Then we'll sort this out." George turned and headed to the door to let them in.
"Yeah, ok." Dream rolled his eyes as he made himself comfortable in his bed.
He picked up his phone, still seeing the message he had just started to send back. But now he wouldn't have to because they're roommates. Which is just.. unbelievable.
The older couple came in with the last box and a smaller bag with George's clothes.
"Sorry about that, I just seen him before.." Dream said to make sure they didn't think he was crazy or something. Besides it's seems Americans have a bad reputation around the world.
George's mum laughed, "I see, well it was nice meeting you.." she paused.

"Dream." George said, interrupting the other. Then he helped them to the door.
Dream was a little surprised the other did that but he had to keep his act till later.
"We'll study hard and have fun!" His mum said just before stepping out of the room. Giving George a short hug and kiss to his cheek before saying goodbye.
Now together, in a room that they'd spend most of their time in. This only would happen to them of course.
Dream didn't move from his his bed. But he did keep an eye on George as he slowly approached him.
"What." Dream said in a short tone.
"What do you mean what. I texted you and you ignored me!" George said now standing by Dream's pillow.
"No no no. Look I gave you my number in the morning and you didn't send a single text till early this morning. I know I was being forward at the shopping center but all you had to say was you're not interested." Dream huffed.
George wasn't expecting all of that at once. In fact he didn't expect to be living in the same room as him yet here he was.
"Look, you don't need that attitude-"
"Really? I don't? Ok. Then I'll just loose it because it's all up to you right?" Dream said in an angry tone but a small smirk.
George slowly was starting to loose his patience.
"Dream stop. Please just listen to me. I know it may have seemed like I didn't care but it's just that.." he looked down, fidgeting with his hoodie string.
"Say it. Say it right now George." Dream egged him on with his silly little smirk. He wanted to hear one thing come from George and that's all.
George struggled to let the words roll off his tongue. But one way or another he'd end up saying it.
"I haven't had many feelings for many people, and well.. I don't know, you just kind of like.." he struggled.

"Look Dream I-" George looked up only to be met by Dream's face. Hardly four centimeters away from his.
George stopped talking and looked at the others eyes for a minute then slowly down.
Dream chuckled seeing George's reaction to the closeness between the two.
"Well? Are you going to finish that sentence?"
George could barely think of anything clean. All his mind could do was think about all the things he only wished to do.
Dream laughed and moved away, going back to resting against the wall behind his bed, his legs hanging off the side.
Finally, the whole time Dream was that close George hadn't taken a single breath. They were so close and- god they only just met. George just couldn't shake these thoughts from his head.
"U-Um what I was going to say is that.. I haven't had feelings for many people in my life except a few and uh, you may be one."
He did it. George actually did it without dying of embarrassment. In fact it felt good to say that because this time he truly had feelings for another.
Dream wasn't totally expecting that but at the same time he was relieved to hear that this wasn't one sided.
"Well good." He said smiling at George who was obviously super red in the face.
George paused, that's it? That's all the other was going to say to him basically confessing.
"Really? Dream are you being serious right now?" He asked in a slightly upset voice.
Dream bit the inside of his cheek and nodded.
"Fine." George scoffed as he left the others side and went to finish unpacking. If Dream was going to act like that well, so would George. Give what you want back.
He watched as George passive aggressively put his side of the room together. Without saying anything Dream just watched as he did his own thing.
George could feel the burning stare of Dream from behind him. In fact he could tell he wanted to say something. So he turned around and gave the same stare. No words were uttered.
After a few minutes of silence Dream rolled his eyes and got up from his bed. Slowly he walked to George. And George being the stubborn boy he is, turned his back immediately as Dream came over.
"Oh come on, George. Are you mad at me?" Dream said as he gently placed his hand on the others shoulder.
George keeping his silence shrugged Dream's hand off and walked away to the closet to start hanging up his clothes.
"I'll be honest I really just wanted to hear that you liked me. I didn't mean to be mean." Dream said as he again approached George.
Even after that George still had yet to say anything and 'ignored' the other.
Finally Dream had enough.
He took both of George's shoulders and made him turn around. Once done he leaned in close to his ear.
"I know what you're doing." Dream spoke in a low voice.
Surprised by the sudden force George gently gripped Dream's shirt. Shivering as the others voice echoed in his head.
"Then what am I doing?" George tried to play dumb.
Dream came close yet again. This time just close enough that George could nearly feel his breath hitting his lips as he spoke.
"I don't like these games." Dream said softly as he learned in just a bit more.
George could feel his heart start speeding up more and more as we took in the close up of the others face. God he was just so breathtaking.
Just before Dream pulled away, George closed the small gap between the two. Meeting Dream's lips in a soft kiss.
Of course Dream didn't expect George to go in but once he did he loosened his grip, leaning more and more into their shared kiss.
What was only a few seconds was the best short seconds George had ever experienced. He couldn't help his smirk.
"Seems you do like these games huh... Clay."

What's This Fiction ? A Very Incomplete Project.
A fiction about itself and it's writer. Which is a very narcissic choice from the author, really, couldn't he have written anything else ? The cover was hastily made on gimp by the author. He has no rights to the image used on it. He doesn't have the artist's agreement for using it, either. Because he has no idea who's the artist.

The Supernormal
In a world where fantasy has become everyday, one man stands against absurdity. The local Tower stomps through the streets. Any hedge could contain a witch. Walls regularly crumble, though none more often than the fourth. In the magical city of Blackpool, all ridiculousness is possible, and it takes everything for Jack Of All Trades to survive. Badly, at that. Perpetually late with his rent, he'll take up arms for any paying customer in order to fulfill his quest. His obstacles include polka-loving ghosts, card-game playing vampires, and the most vicious monsters of all: copyright lawyers. When he's joined by an arrogant magus and an insecure vampire, his life gets even more complicated, but no matter what kind of infuriating choose-your-own-adventure he finds himself on, one constant remains—his rent is due at the end of the month. On second thoughts, maybe he should stay in bed. The Supernormal isn't your average web-novel. It's an urban fantasy parody that saunters through a world full of the absurd, delighting in poking fun at popular media, widely-accepted ideas, and often itself. Story arcs only loosely connect through the characters, who are themselves slowly fleshed out as the story continues. Think of Discworld meets The Dresden Files meets Gintama. This novel won't be for everyone, but if it is for you, you're in for a hell of a ride.

Being Frank
**Author's Note** This was my 7th attempt at writing this story. I've worked on the story since 20 years ago but my writing style and skills haven't been satisfactory to me. So after working as a digital content manager for 2 years and after a very long deliberation I've decided to drop this 7th attempt and start on my 8th attempt. This 8th attempt will be the same story but starting from a different point in the timeline of my story. Thank you for your support on this 7th try, it is only due to your reviews and comments that I have the confidence to work hard on my 8th attempt. I started on my 8th attempt with the intention that my 8th attempt will be the final one as I'm a lot more confident and content with my where my writing skills are currently at. Volume 1 In a world filled with magic, war, giants and other awesome races lives Frank. Who being Frank is somewhat of a hermit. He loves to tinker with various contraptions trying to bend the laws of magic to his will. Through his successes he has garnered some attention; unwanted attention. If only that was all there was to it. .... war is coming Volume 2 Frank was born as a normal child, born in a normal family. His father was a scientist and was busy working most days. This is also why Frank was especially excited when his father decided to take an extended holiday to travel to Asia with his family. But their trip turns out to be one from which there is no going back. Writer's notice: I will continue to participate in the NaNoWriMo every November till I finish all that I have planned to write. I expect to have this story finished in 14 years approximately.Update:I was unhappy with how I had first written the first and second volume but am leaving the editing and finishing of those volumes till later and have started on the third one. The chronological order so far is 2-1-3. Might fix that too later.
