《Zodiac One Shots》Slow Down (Leo (f) x Virgo (m))
(Leo's POV)
I put on my lipstick, grab my purse, and head out the door. I get in my car and drive off to Virgo's house. It was date night, and I was pumped! Last date night, Virgo picked what we did. And, don't get me wrong, I love him! But sometimes, his dates aren't as exciting. We stay home and watch movies, or go shopping. I like going to parties and dancing! But I care about him, and if he wants to stay home, we can stay home.
I was so caught up in my thoughts, I almost missed the turn. I turn down Virgo's street and not a moment later, I park in front of his house. I get out and walk up to his door. I knock, and a tall, handsome figure opens the door. We have been dating for a year now, but I still blush like a little fan girl.
"Hi, love!" I say, hugging Virgo.
"Hey, babe!" He exclaims, wrapping his warm arms around me tighter.
"You ready?" I ask, reluctantly breaking the hug.
"Yeah," He says, grabbing his phone off the little table by the door.
We get in the car and drive to Gemini's. Virgo still doesn't know where we're going. We pull up to see colorful lights flashing through the windows and I smirk, knowing Gemini didn't care to wait till I arrived to start. Doesn't matter, because one, I get to be fashionably late, and two, parties always get better when I walk in. I step out of the car, brushing off my purple dress. Virgo steps out, too. I can see he is nervous, but I take his hand in mine and walk up the steps with him close.
(Virgo's POV)
We step through the door and music is blasting in my ears, making my entire body vibrate. I feel comfort with Leo, her hand leaving wonderful chills up my body, but yet they can keep me warm in the coldest storm.
Gemini quickly runs up to Leo and starts shouting.
"Hey gurl! Let's go!" She shouts. She's lucky she's always loud when she's just speaking normally, or else we wouldn't be able to hear her over the music. She grabs Leo's free hand and pulls her into the crowd, leaving me alone.
I took a moment to take in the chaos around me. I hate chaos, but Leo was happy, so I go along with it. She's my world, if we weren't dating, there would be no way to drag me to these parties. I start trying to worm my way through the crowd. The place was a mess, and I had to push back a small urge to clean. I watch people lift other people up, while the word "chug" is being used to great extent. I get dizzy, and I keep getting pushed around by random drunk people. I barely make it to the living room when I give up. I turn around, this time pushing people instead of the other way around. I get to the door and walk out. A group of people come up the step and, since I'm tired of being pushed around, I turn on the flashlight on my phone and shine it in their eyes. They winced and move away, as I walk straight into the group, going to Leo's car.

I sit in Leo's car and start texting Taurus.
Virgo: Hey, can you pick me up?? I'm @ Gemini's...
Taurus: k what's going on?
Virgo: I'll explain later, trying to clear my head for now.
Taurus: no prob! I'm busy, but I'll send Pisces!
Virgo: thanks...
I wait about 10 minutes, then I see Pisces' car drive around the corner. I get out of Leo's car and wait for Pisces (aka the worst and slowest parker in the world) to take her time, trying to perfect the art of parallel parking. She purposely makes dumb faces as she parks. I'm laughing so hard and I'm about to double over. She spends about five minutes parking, and still is sloppy! I get in her sleek, navy blue car. Her blue green eyes were bigger than her big smile. I think of Pisces like a sister. She drives off and we head to my house.
"So, what's up? I thought it was date night? Are you and Leo having problems?" Pisces asks, concerned.
"No! It's just... Leo brought me here for date night, and she took off with Gemini, then I just couldn't handle the crowd. I should probably text Leo and tell her I left," I tell her.
I text Leo.
Virgo: hey, I left the party. Pisces is giving me a ride home. I'm sorry...
"Hey, you need to talk?" Pisces asks, reading my expression.
"Mmm.." I mumble.
"Come on. I know the perfect spot," She says, a friendly smile on her face.
We drive to an orchard. I think it was an apple orchard. She parks, (sloppily) and she gets out. She walks to my door, opens it, and reaches out her hand. I take her small hand in mine, and get out of the car. She lets go of my hand and we walk into the orchard. We walk deeper into the orchard in silence.
"What's going on with you and Leo?" She asks, suddenly.
I usually don't open up very often, but I trust Pisces, and I know she can keep a secret if I asked her to, plus, her smooth voice can make a rock crack open like an egg.
"Well... I love Leo with all my heart, but sometimes, our differences get in the way," I confess.
"Well that's normal, every couple has it's strengths and weaknesses," She replies.
"I know she likes to be the party girl, and I love that about her, but sometimes it gets overwhelming, and she's always too distracted for me to tell her. I want to just relax and have intimate moments," I go on.

She nods her head, "Have you told her this when you aren't at a party?"
"N-no..."
"Well, I don't want to control your relationship, but you should tell her how you feel. Honesty is important, and she won't hate you for speaking your mind. She will respect you for it!"
"You're right..." I sigh.
We talk some more as we walk even deeper into the dark orchard, the stars shining between the trees.
(Leo's POV)
I take a break from partying, and check my phone.
1 new message:
Virgo :3 (1 hour ago)
"hey, I left the party. Pisces is giving me a ride home. I'm sorry..."
Oh God! He's probably so upset just sitting at home alone! I rush past the crowd, faintly hearing Gemini call after me. I run out and jump into my car and drive to his house.
Ten minutes later, I arrive at Virgo's. I run up to his door and knock. But instead of a tall and sweet Virgo, it was a short, younger girl. It was Virgo's little sister, Cancer!
"Where's Virgo?" I ask.
"I don't know, I just came here about 20 minutes ago. My water isn't working, so I came over here to shower and relax," She answers, stepping out of the way for me to come in.
I walk in and glance around the living room. The place isn't at it's neatest, since Cancer was here, messing things up. She wasn't as much as a neat freak like Virgo. I thought I should do something for Virgo, since he has been such a great boyfriend! I pick up the broom and sweep the kitchen. I then hear Cancer call out.
"Hey, I'm gonna head home, tell Virgo I said thanks for letting me use his water, and that I love him! Bye!" She says as she walks out.
"Okay!" I yell back.
I keep cleaning the house until I hear the door open. Virgo and Pisces walk in with ice cream.
"Leo?" Virgo asks.
"Hi!" I say with a guilty smile.
"Bye, Virgo! See you later!" Pisces says as she leaves.
I walk up to Virgo and give him a hug. We sit on the couch and he shuts the T.V. off.
"Um... Babe? Can I tell you something?" He asks, looking at his feet.
"Anything," I reply, moving closer.
"I need to get this off my chest. I really love you, but sometimes I can't keep up with you and all these parties. I have trouble with all the chaos. I don't want to put out your amazing fire, but... I need it all to slow down..." He says, quietly.
"Of course! I would do anything for you! I love you with all my heart! I don't need to go to parties all the time to have fun, I have more fun with you than I could ever have at a party!" I say, holding his hands in mine.
He runs his hands through his light brown hair, his green eyes sparkling. I reach in and press my lips into his. He runs his fingers through my long red hair. Our kiss is full of passion and love. My party fire may be smaller, but I felt this other fire growing, and I never want it to go out. We break away from each other, breathless.
"Stay," He whispers.
"I don't have any other clothes," I say back.
We get up, and he takes my hand and we go to his bedroom. He finds a shirt of his and I change, making sure I put my dress up so Virgo doesn't have to stress over a dirty room. He changes so he's just in some shorts and a tank top. We curl up in his bed, and I hear him whisper, "I love you..." I smile and whisper back, "I love you, too."
