One of the incredible things I've found while writing is the audience engagement with some of the characters. In the past, some of you have asked specifically to see old Clone Wars characters make a return, even some of my OC's from the Price series. Looking ahead, I think that I'm going to have an opportunity to write spin-off books.

This probably won't happen until after I write Season 3 (which may end up being a different book because this one is so long), but I do want to get some opinions. I will keep an eye on this chapter and do my best to respond to comments. I'd appreciate all the feedback I can get, so anyone is welcome to give their opinion. Here are some of the ideas I have for spin-offs, I may come up with more in the future.

Spin-off Ideas:

-Soka Journey: This would likely navigate her discovery of the Force. I may wait on this idea for a long time, just because of an idea I have, but I would like to at least see what you all think. What type of journey (pun intended) should she go on?

-O-Mer Majal: This would track his story from the moment Order 66 begins to when he meets Senator Organa and agrees to work with him. The last chapter would likely be his introduction to Granger. I would like to play around with the idea of him being in charge of all seven Younglings and how he struggles with that. It would also be an opportunity to delve into how the Younglings cope with the destruction of their home.

-Lur'akan: This would start with a flashback of O-Mer getting separated from her, leading into the near future where she and the other Younglings must accept that their mentor and protector is gone. She would be about ten years old at the time, so the other Younglings would start to take her training more seriously. It would be an opportunity to discover how the Younglings grow as adults and what kind of teenager Lura becomes.

Jinx Daru: This would start at the death of Adi Gallia, his previous master, and show how he copes with her death up to the point of Order 66. It would elaborate on his friendship with O-Mer Majal and Caleb Dume, as well as his growing connection with Mace Windu. It would show how he processes his grief before the Jedi Purge begins, at which point he would be separated from his friends and witness the death of Mace Windu at the peak of their relationship. The story would end as Jinx descends fully to the Dark Side and begins his journey as a disciple of Tyrannus and Jadis.

Barriss Offee/Jadis: This would describe her apprenticeship under Maul or Tyrannus, possibly both. At some point, I would like to compare the two and show the difference in her thinking before and after she joins with Tyrannus. It would flush her out more as a villain, which I don't really have an opportunity to do here. Unfortunately, the Rebels TV series doesn't bother to worry about Vader a lot because we already know much about his descent to the Dark Side. While I would like to solidify Jadis' journey a bit more, I don't have time to do it in the official Renaissance series. A spin-off, on the other hand, could accomplish this nicely.

Luke and Leia Naberrie: This would describe their experience in boot camp, as laid out in the Naberrie Family Part 2 chapter from Book 3 of the Price series. I think it would be fun to watch two of the most talented and skilled Padawans of the age learn how to hide their abilities and learn the lessons that others like Ahsoka Tano had to pick up on the fly. We would get to see them mature into warriors in a way that they couldn't do at home, which is just entertaining from a writing standpoint.
