《The Rising Demon |Black Butler| |Reader Insert|》I kicked your ass, dumbass

Almost immediately, you could tell that the butler was now after your ass. You didn't necessarily harm Ciel, just... fucked with his consciousness and emotions. No big deal, really. To you, actually.
'Oh, I pissed him off, didn't I?' You thought, noticing the sinister aura coming off of him. You slid to a stop and turned around, seeing him fly behind you, eyes glowing fuchsia. You growled, spinning around ripping a tree from its roots. You threw it at him, using the time he used to dodge and come up in front of him. You placed your hand on his chest and pushed him away. He went flying back a few hundred feet. You landed on the ground before seeing his silhouette walk out of the shadows.
'Impressive. He's obviously a high-level demon.' You thought, half expecting him to have at least some dirt on him. He ran at you and tried to kick you with his long ass legs, but you dodged and slammed your foot into his chin. He went flying through the trees again.
'I'm really getting tired of this shit.'
"Well, you certainly are something. I never thought you were this strong," he called out, eyes the only thing visible through the darkness of the forest. With a sneer, you tilted your head.
"Your judgement may be a bit off," you replied. With a whoosh, you disappeared from sight. His eyes darted around as he started looking for you, his senses on high alert. "Where am I, Crow?" Your disembodied voice echoed from all direction.
"Am I behind you? Below you? Above you? To the side of you? Or am I making my way towards your precious master?" Poking at Ciel was the same thing as poking at the demon. He scowled.

"You wouldn't dare lay a hand on him!" He tried back.
"I would lay a hand on anyone, if given enough reason." You thought for a moment after that. "Do you remember offering me a job to work for Phantomhive?"
Sebastian didn't say anything in response, but you knew he was listening.
"I'll reconsider... but only if your master is still alive by then." And with that, your voice slwoly faded out. However, you were still there. You never took your eyes off of him. He quickly turned around and ran in the direction of Ciel. You let out a light chuckle. "Oh Crow, how you make me laugh." You disappeared with the next breeze.
Ciel was leaning against the tree, arms crossed and eye closed. He was calming himself from his encounter with you. Seeing his mother again and watching her burn let emotions he didn't want to resurface.
"He's been gone for a while," he murmured, aggravated.
"Young Master," Sebastian called from in front of him. The boy opened his eye and gazed at the tall demon.
"Tch. Took you long enough," he harshly said. "Where is she?"
"The threat looming over your head was far greater," he replied, a smile on his face. Though he could tell it was fake. Ciel let out a quiet sigh, bringing his finger up to rub his forehead.
"You should've been able to beat her. Aren't female demons weaker than males?" He asked.
"Well, fuck you too, kid. Your butler got his ass kicked by me. You're mistaking levels for genders. Who the fuck raised you? They had no comprehension skills," the two of them heard your voice say.
"And how do you know this?" You heard Ciel ask.

"I may not have been alive as long as Crow, but I have been in Hell a few times myself," you replied.
"So? What level are you?" Ciel asked. You leapt down from the tree. Sebastian stood in front of Ciel with a scowl on his face.
"Down, Kitty," you mockingly ordered. His eyebrow twitched and that only amused you. You looked over at Ciel. "Killing him is wasteful. If you're really wondering what level I am, then you'll have to find out for yourself."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Ciel inquired, annoyed that he wasn't getting what he wanted.
"I don't disclose information about me easily," you replied, a smile coming up to your face. Ciel thought for a moment when he spoke up.
"Considering what powers you exhibited, you have to be fairly strong."
A hum left your mouth.
"I mean, you're not wrong," you replied, shrugging lightly.
"I was not aware there were different leveled demons. I also thought they were the same," he said, looking at you as if you had no idea what you were talking about.
"You're ignorant, then," you shot back, watching him purse his lips. A brilliant idea then came to your head. "Is that position for a maid still open?"
"It depends. Are you willing to follow my orders?" He inquired. You stared at him for a while, expression neutral and unreadable.
"Of course. What servant would I be if I didn't?" It pissed you the hell off, but... what else was there for you to do? "Oh yeah, dresses don't really work for my... fighting repertoire, so I would greatly prefer a butler's suit, or anything close to it. That's my only condition."
A smirk found its way to Ciel's lips.
"What would happen if I made you put on a dress?" He asked slyly. Your face dropped into a scowl instantly.
"Try it," you hissed out. He let out a quiet sigh.
"Fine. Sebastian," he called.
"Yes, Young Master."
"I'll meet you at the mansion in the morning. There's a couple of things I need to do beforehand," you said. Ciel stared at you with narrowed eyes before finally nodding.
"Very well," he replied before he left with Sebastian trailing behind him. When you turned, you were back inside of your house. Kin was there, looking at you with her large hazel eyes.
"I'm sorry Kin," you said, gently stroking down her head. With a coo, she pressed further into the palm of your hand. "I'll have to leave for a little, but I'll visit you as much as I can." You turned your head to the floor.
"Here's a parting gift." With a wave, thousands of mice scurried out of a single point, dispersing through the house. Kin screeched gleefully, dive bombing towards one of them. With a smile, you teleported to your room where a blank book laid on the bed. The pages were blank, but that was only to the naked eye.
Ja ne!

Beatrice Santello
An adult imagining of Beatrice Santello's life prior to the events of Night in the Woods. There are no explicit depictions of sex here, though there are obviously adult themes and situations involving it. I wasn't going to post it to Royalroad as I didn't think Fanfiction was okay here - but now I see it is and I am quite convinced it is the best work I've ever done yet, I've got to see what any fans of NitW think about it! The first chapter was originally written as a short vignette and wasn't intended to be continued into a full blown story. It was just intended to be moody and evocative. Even though anyone that has played Night in the Woods has a good idea how this must end, I hope it will still be worth the read. Also, since I've finished writing it, I'm going to post it as one big chapter dump all at once. Cover drawing by GreasyMojo and colored by me (with permission!). I don't think it should be too risque on it's own but I suppose I'll soon find out.
