"So... what's wrong?"
Redson let out a frustrated sigh. This was harder than he anticipated.
"Nothing drastic really, just my parents." As Red said this, he looked over to Mk, who looked nervous at the statement, then quickly recovered with an awkward expression.
"They apparently think I'm useless," Redson said with a villainous cackle "But I've proved them wrong time and time again! They don't know what they're missing out on!" The red-head put on a confident front, trying to mask how he felt his insides turned with sadness and abandonment.
"That's horrible, I'm so sorry Red, that's not okay. You're definitely not useless. You challenge me every time we fight! You're smart and strong and amazing! You're parents don't deserve you." Mk smiled awkwardly, trying to ignore the fact he was throwing compliments at his enemy.
Redson stared at Mk for a moment.
-Did he really think that? No, you're being idiotic, he's just saying that to make you feel better. He pities you. Ugh, even thinking that word is disgusting. Mk pity me?? ME????? I'm to good to be pitied by this PEASENT. But still, he's being so nice, fake or not. Why? Why do I feel so weird around him? Because he's my enemy, duh. But now it's different. He even called me Red. No one's ever called my anything special. Huh.-
Redson felt so touched by Mk's little speech, his hair started to spark.
"I- um, thank you. You're very kind, I guess. But I'll let you know, Noodle boy, I do NOT need your pity! What you said is true, because I'm obviously amazing, but you're just saying that to make a strong, amazing, spectacular ally like me!"
Mk sighs "You know every time I try to be nice to you, you always try to turn it into some sort of argument. Can a guy not try to make friends anymore?"

"Friends?" Redson mumbled.
-Friends? Friends?? FRIENDS??? I mean I'm aware five minutes ago I was complaining about being alone, but friends????? And it just HAD to be NOODLE BOY of all people??? My ENEMY.-
Even though Redson tried to convince himself he was to good for this "peasant", Redson longed for someone by his side.
"HAH! Friends?! You want to be friends with me?! I don't need friends. I'm perfectly fine on my own, thank you very much. Like I said, I don't need the pity of a delivery boy."
" I mean, I can't force you into anything, but do you even have a place to stay?? I really do want to help you. I think we could get along."
-Okay, so what. I'm currently homeless. Mk doesn't need to know that. All I need to do is come up with the perfect excuse.-
"Um, I'm staying with my parents."
Shit. Wrong excuse.
"Aren't you trying to avoid your parents?" Mk stared at the red-head in pure confusion.
" ah well you see the thing is that. Um- so you see-"
Mk stared at him.
"YOU KNOW WHAT, I DON"T NEED TO EXPLAIN ANYTHING TO YOU"
"So you don't have a place to stay??"
" AKUSSLDKJGLKSDAGK YOU KNOW WHAT, MAYBE SOMETHING LIKE THAT"
" Chillax! You can stay with me." Mk said with a welcoming and warm smile. Redson stared with heat creeping into his face.
-REDSON. This is pity, don't fall for it. You are too good for this peasant. It doesn't matter if he compliments you, listens to you, or has a beautiful smile. Remember, this is pity.-
"Really?"
"Sure!"
"Then, I guess I'll take you up on your offer."
-Why don't I ever follow my plans. -
Mk and Redson stood up from the bench, before they started walking towards a familiar Pigsy's Noodles.
