(October 1st)

Catalaiya's pov:

I woke up this morning feeling crappy again. These past two weeks, I only felt crappy, sad and moody. I could tell Aziel was getting worried and upset by my sudden change of mood and I felt bad for making him feel like that but I can't control it.

I try, I can't...

By the symptoms and hormonal changes, I thought that I might be pregnant. Last week, I finally took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I felt kinda disappointed about it and cry the whole evening on the bed.

I didn't tell Aziel that I took a pregnancy test since it came out negative.

I looked at the sleeping figure next to me and I couldn't help but smile at his sleepy face. I reached to lightly stroke his cheeks with my thumb before kissing his nose. I then untangle myself slowly from him and made my way to the bathroom.

I opened the first drawer and took out another pregnancy test. I did my business and put the test on the counter as I brushed my teeth while I waited. I was getting nervous and nervous as time went by. The five minutes ended and I reached to grab the test without looking. I took a deep breath before looking at the screen.

Oh my God.

I let out a shaky breath and smiled.

Yessss...

I put the test in my pjs pocket before walking into the bedroom. I made my way closer to Aziel and sat on the edge of the bed. I leaned over and kissed his cheeks a couple of times, enough to wake him up. He stirred and slowly opened his eyes.

"What happened?" He furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at me. Before I could reply, he pulled himself up and sat down giving me his full attention. I didn't notice that I cried until he reached to wipe my tears off with his thumb.

"I have something to tell you," I said and he nodded, encouragingly.

"Last week I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative," I told him and watch as a slight frown formed on his face.

"Is it why you have been so upset?" He inquired and I nodded.

He cupped my face.

"Love, you shouldn't be. Whenever God decides to bless us with our munchkins, we will have them by our sides." He said softly.

I love this man so much...

"I took another one this morning," I told him.

"I'm pregnant."

I watched as he froze before a wide smile formed on his lips, "Are you?"

"Yes," I took out the test and show it to him. He looked down at it before pulling me in his arms, hugging me tightly.

"Congrats mama," he murmured looking at me in the eyes.

"I'm sorry I made you so worried. I couldn't control what was happening and i-"

"Shut up, you don't have to apologise. I understand but from now on anything that troubles you, anything that makes you upset... you tell me, you communicate with me... only then I'll be able to help you." He explained softly and I nodded.

I moved and straddle him, burying my face in the crook of his neck. He slowly rubbed his hand on my back, kissing the top of my head.

"I can't believe that I'll be a dad." He murmured to himself but I heard it.

"We need to go see a doctor before we tell anyone," I spoke, my face still in his neck.

"That's alright," Aziel added.

And we did, we took an appointment and we went to the doctor the next day on my lunch break. We didn't tell anyone yet.

"Mrs Alvaro,"

Both Aziel and I walked into the cabin and the nurse guided me to the bed. I laid down while Aziel stood by the bed and we waited for the doctor.

The door opened and a lady doctor walked in, "Hi, I'm Georgia."

"Hi," we both greeted her.

"So, let's start."

She did all her checkups on me before turning on the machine by my side. I lift my top to my breast and she put a blue cream on my skin before putting the mouse on it. She stared at the screen while we waited.

"Ah, congrats Catalaiya. You are pregnant." She smiled making me smile. I looked at Aziel and he was smiling looking at the screen.

"So let me measure this... hmm, well from what I can see you are only 1 week 5-6 days pregnant." She says.

"I took a test last week and it came out negative," I told her.

"That does happen in early stages... well now let's talk more about your treatments."

I was back at the office with a big smile on my face. Instead of walking to my office, I walked to Nayvee.

"Hey,"

She looked up at me, "Oh you're back."

"Yeah, are you free tomorrow night?" I asked her.

"I am... why?" She inquired.

"Well, I'm inviting you tomorrow for dinner," I said and she nodded.

"Sure, I'll be there."

Aziel and I decided to do a small dinner tomorrow to tell everyone about our little munchkin. We wanted to tell everyone at once because we didn't want to choose who to tell first, second, third and so on... everyone will know at the same time.

I walked to my office and sat down. I leaned in my seat, smiling. I replay all the conversations that Dr Georgia said and I let everything soak in.

I walked to my office to find Carter and Adam talking as they sipped on some cold drinks.

"You're back," Adam said when he noticed me.

"Yeah, "I sat on my chair.

"So, are you both free tomorrow night?" I inquired.

Carter chuckled, "That depends on you boss."

Right...

"Why, what happen?" Adam asked.

"Nothing, I just wanted to invite you both for dinner tomorrow."

(October 3rd)

Catalaiya's pov:

Right now, I was in the dining room helping Thalia to set up the table. Tonight, she did prepare dinner and dessert. Nayvee and I came early from work and helped Thalia to cook. When Aziel told Thalia about the dinner, she didn't ask any questions and agreed.

I wonder if she already has a hint that I'm pregnant...

We heard the doorbell and I made my way to the door to open it. It was Kassy, Leo and Aria. This time Aria was wide awake in her dad's arms. She smiled when she saw me, making my own smile widen.

"Hi," I hugged Kassy before side hugging Leo and kissing Aria's cheeks.

"Next time, we are inviting you all for dinner," Kassy started making us chuckle.

I grabbed Aria from Leo before we made our way to the living room and sat down. Nayvee and Thalia joined us. A few minutes later, the door opened and Aziel, Carter, Alicia and Adam walked in. We all greeted each other with a hug.

Aziel wrapped his arms around my waist from behind before kissing Aria's cheeks.

"Dinner's ready," Thalia said.

We all make our way to the dining table and sat down. Alfred brought another table from the storeroom and set it up against the other one so that everyone can fit in.

Aria went with Kassy as we started to eat. We all had casual conversations, everyone talking and laughing without hesitations. Like a big family.

"I'm really starting to like these dinner parties, it's fun," Alfred commented.

"Yeah," Everyone agreed.

I felt a hand on mine and I turned to look at Aziel.

"Don't you think it's time to tell them?" Aziel asked in a low voice and I nodded.

"How about a toss?" I asked and he nodded.

"Alright everyone, grab your drink," Aziel said and everyone looked at him confused. He raised his glass and I did too, soon everyone followed.

"What is it for?" Carter inquired.

Aziel wrapped his arm around my shoulder while looking at them."For our little coming munchkin."

I lightly tap my glass with his at the same time as the ladies gasped and seconds later, they squealed excitedly. The men took a while to process everything and understand what Aziel said.

The ladies stood up and rushed to my side to hug me. Both Aziel and I stood up. They hugged Aziel too.

"Congrats,"

I hugged them back.

"I knew it," Thalia smiled.

"You did?"

"Yeah," she chuckled.

"Congrats bro," Adam hugged Aziel. Then Carter did.

Leo walked to me, "Now I'm going to spoil your little one and you won't be able to stop me."

I chuckled before hugging him.
