Catalaiya's pov:

Aziel and I made our way to the backyard. All the men were by the patio sitting on the couches and talking among themselves, sipping on some cocktail while the ladies where by the open area, sitting on the chair, talking and smiling, sipping on some cocktail.

I stood by the drink table and pour two glasses of watermelon refresher for Aziel and me. Carter stood up and came to refill his glass with Tipsy Tee. Aria was now on Thalia's lap and Alicia was making funny faces to make her laugh.

"Not gonna lie, it's a good party," Carter commented.

I smiled, "Thank you."

"A little break from work doesn't hurt," Aziel added.

Look whose talking...

"True,"

I heard the faint sound of the doorbell and I knew who it was.

"Hmm Carter, I think there is someone at the door. Can you go open it, please? I have to share the cupcakes." I asked him. Aziel shook his head lightly while looking down at his juice, with a faint smile on his lips.

He knows...

"Sure," Carter nodded.

I put my glass on the table before walking to the front door. I wonder who it might be, I mean everyone was already here... maybe it's another brother or sister of Catalaiya's.

I opened the door and I froze when my eyes landed on her. She turned to look at me and I watched as her hazel eyes widened slightly.

"Hi," Her soft voice echoed through my ears.

"Hi," I smiled as I stepped away from the door.

"You look pretty," I commented. She smiled, a little blush showing on her cheeks.

"Thank you, you don't look bad yourself." She added.

"Well if I knew you would be coming, I would have to try to dress up a little more," I said. I was wearing black pants with a morron belt and a white shirt.

I heard someone clear their throat and we turned around to see Catalaiya and Aziel. Aziel gave me a slight smirk and I send him a glare.

He better keeps his mouth shut...

"Hi, happy birthday. Here's a little gift for you."

Nayvee handed Aziel the gift and he thanked her.

"I'll take her out near the drinks," Carter suggested making me smile.

"Sure,"

They both walked out and both Aziel and I shared a look.

"He's quick." He commented.

I chuckled, "I'll bring the cupcakes."

He nodded before walking back to the backyard while I went to get the cupcakes. I opened the box and it looked good.

I walked out and let the gents grab one. Aziel took the happy birthday one as it was his birthday. I walked to the ladies and I sat down before picking one too.

"I love how we are only ten people here and the party is really good," Alicia commented.

"That's because we know better than to invite unwelcomed and unpleasant guests." Thalia pointed out.

We cheered to that before drinking another sip of our drink.

"By the way, this necklace looks pretty," Nayvee said as she look at Aria's necklace.

"It's a small gift from Aziel and me," I said. Kassy gave me an a-I-don't-believe-you- look.

"It was mainly Aziel's idea." I lied.

It was now 6 p.m and we all made our way to the food table. We set up the table as a buffet so that everyone could choose what they wanted to eat.

Leo went to his car to get Aria's car seat as we didn't have anything to put her in while we eat. Kassy dipped her pacifier in some strawberry juice before handing it to her. She tasted it and by the look on her face, she loved it.

Thalia handed Aziel his birthday gift and so did Leo.

Every woman sat on one side of the table while the men sat on the other side, just like in a restaurant.

Dinner went by pretty smooth and we had a great evening. Thalia went to grab the dessert that she kept in the fridge and when she came back everyone was quite excited to see the plate.

"Damn, dentist who?" Carter said making us chuckle. We pass the plate and everyone took what they wanted to eat. Fifteen minutes later, Alfred went to the side and brought a speaker.

"What's a party without dancing." Thalia smiled.

"It'll be a slow dance, my friends," Alfred added.

He set up everything while we walked to the space by the table. The song 'you are the reason' started to play and each couple, including Carter and Nayvee, started to dance.

Aziel pulled me closer to him, his arms wrapped firmly around my waist.

"Thank you for everything today." He smiled.

"You're welcome."

I pulled away and he spin me around, my back pressed against his front. We swayed to the music before he spun me around again.

"I didn't reply to you earlier," I said as I looked into his eyes.

He furrowed his eyebrow," About what?"

"I love you too." I smiled.

He smiled back before leaning to peck my lips a couple of times making me giggle. We continue to dance as the music continued. I glanced at Nayvee and looked like she was having the time of her life. She had a big smile on her face as she looked at Carter who was looking down at her with a fascinating look.

I hope they end up together...

Eventually, we stopped and went to sit at the table.

Leo, Kassy and Aria were the first ones to leave as it was almost Aria's bedtime and she was getting grumpy. The next one to leave was Nayvee and Carter followed by Alicia and Adam.

Whatever food and snacks were left, Thalia distributed them among everyone in takeaways. No waste of food.

Then, Thalia, me, Aziel and Alfred cleaned as much as we can in the backyard.

Around 11:30, we were in our rooms. We already showered. I felt Aziel grab my arm before he pulled me onto him. He leaned and crashed his lips onto mine, this time he was a little demanding and the kiss was needy.

He pulled away from me,"I would like to take my other gift from you, Love."

I knew exactly what he meant and I didn't dare to stop him.

"I'm all yours," I whispered.

Let us just say, we went to bed late... really late.
