Narrator POV
Three young women run through a forest. Lily, the youngest by twenty-one days, runs through the leaves at the front. Sam, the middle amongst the three chases after her. Smiles on their faces they run from Britta, the eldest. Sam looks back and shoots her a small grin. In front of her Lily stopped and Sam runs into her back. There's a tall man in robes standing before them. He had light pink hair and a crown. "Guys! Why did you stop?" Britta says as she catches up. Then she sees him. The man has and angered look in his eyes when he says, "what are you kids doing on my land?" Britta, being the mom of the girls infront of them. "I'm sorry sir, we'll leave now"
As they turn the sound of a crossbow cocking stops them. "You didn't read the signs, did you?" The man says. "N-no sir, we must've missed them." Sam stutters out. The sun was going down and they had to get home. "Ah, well they said, 'no trespassing, under the penalty of death'" Lily took a shaky breath as he walked towards her. "You know what that means, right?" "I-" too late, the bow goes off. It hits Sam first. The warm liquid infected her hair making it a darker shade of red than usual. Lily looks down at her best with wide eyes. That was a mistake. The arrows pierces the skin on her stomach blood splatters on her face making her freckles more prominent. Britta rushes over to her best friends. Tears streaming from her eyes. "You ba-" She didn't get to finish. The last click goes off and everything goes black.

The man looks down at the girls laying on the floor with satisfaction. Red stains infect the leaves and pine needles underneath them. You know what they say, blood for the blood god.

Virtual Reality does not even exist in this period of time, how come Ling Ru is able to play a game, that feels so real? Upset about his family undermining his gaming habits, again and again, Ling Ru's mental fire begins to rage as he rushes out into the night on a rainy day. He likes MMORPGs and RPGs, why does he have to study hard? For his second time, he failed his University Exams, which means he would have to repeat another year. While fuming and bitching to himself, he seeks out a new comrade, a rather cute one. Actually, he found a cute cat standing on the road while walking on the sidewalk, maybe not a real comrade, but at least something living he could bitch about his family with, or rather to. Surprisingly this cat stood on the road and obediently listened to everything he said, it carried on for quite a few minutes before he noticed something weird. The cat was stone, or rather it had not moved for quite a long time. He tried making sounds and scaring it, nothing works. He decides to check why it is acting so weird, as he approaches the cat, it does not even fret, it's still. When he comes in near proximity to the cat, something weird happens. A blinding light and a loud honking noise. Naturally, it features very overpowered characters with a lot of high stakes battles roaming across the cosmos. Warning: Swearing, some suggestive sexual gestures/words, gore. Feedback is highly welcomed. (The story was originally named, God's Return, but I wanted to change it.)

Divine Mortality is about the experiences of Players stepping into a new massively online world. A video game which was crafted with near-future technical advances, a game that provides seamless virtual reality headset and control support, a game which was hidden until it's surprise hit release shocking the world of boring and mundane MMORPGs played today, and a game that has been described as a miracle creation. Something which is difficult to create in Today's REAL WORLD, yet, it's not impossible with the right conditions and intentions. I try to implement concepts of my dream MMORPG which I believe will work and fulfill a Player's fun, immersion, creativity, and social world. The story in season 1 follows the first person perspective of an enthusiast of the game, Amulet Pond. Season 2 follows a new individual called Sayooshi, written in a more third person perspective (attempted light novel). (Recommended!) Season 1 covers the rough chapters 1-52, Season 2 (chapters 53+) should be better in quality. You can start reading from 53.
