《Naive Astronaut (Toruka Story english) 1.》Chapter 9

April woke up the next morning, very early by her standards, and even before opening her eyes she felt that something was wrong. Her head buzzed enormously, her stomach rumbled as well and the taste of ...? She clicked her tongue to find out what it could be, but then she groaned resignedly. A cautious look to the side confirmed her premonition. Torio was not lying next to her, it would have been too easy. Another sigh escaped her. She rose and dared to look into the big mirror in the corner, whereupon a shrill scream echoed through the apartment, followed by various curses and heavy sobs. The young astronaut just rolled his eyes, but didn't care.

There she was again, old April. His colleague, who actually got on his nerves terribly and constantly wanted to get at his laundry. She will calm down again, at the latest when I make her the offer to stay with me for a longer time. ' he thought. Of course only with the ulterior motive of giving the unknown being the possibility of a new transformation.

"'A wonderful good morning, April darling', he greeted her relatively friendly and even smiled. But the blonde American woman was still too groggy to notice the positive change in the astronaut. She shuffled to the coffee machine and stared at it with an empty gaze.

"Torio?" Her voice trembled slightly, and when she turned to him, you could still see the traces of the make-up that had run off. Her hair was tied in a braid, making her look very severe.

"Torio? ... What happened tonight?" she wanted to know. "I feel... how shall I put it... needed? "burnt out, as if my body had been warmed up inside." She came a few steps closer. "Did you... did we... Two big question marks stood in her eyes.

"Yes, we had... wine, and... you had one glass too many? Sit down, I'll make you some coffee."

"Okay? What have I done to deserve this?" she marveled and sat down on the bench next to the kitchen window. A somewhat sceptical look followed the wheelchair user, who obviously wasn't hung over. "Why on earth did I get drunk? ... And this taste ... strange. I've had some parties before, but I've never felt this bad afterwards," she sighed, resting her head between her hands, her elbows on the tabletop and trying to recall last night. But somehow she had no memories, neither of spicy drinks nor of an extraordinary meal. When Torio returned to the table with her breakfast, she pushed her confused thoughts aside and slowly but surely the woman inside her awoke.

The blond man in front of her was dressed in light sweatpants and the tank top, with its wide sleeves, showed much of the trained upper body. He smelled of a spicy shower gel and his hair hung perky in his face.

'He smiles! she noticed only now. Damn it, what have I missed tonight?!' She was enormously annoyed about the memory gap and hoped for another evening with him, so she started carefully:

"I'm really sorry, Torio. I'm absolutely no help to you. ...in your daily routine or in your cooking." Thoughtfully, she still tasted that bitter-sweet taste in her mouth, but immediately whitewashed it with a strong sip of fresh coffee. "I'm not particularly gifted in these matters. "I'm not very good at these things..."

"Maybe so," he interrupted her. "I also have to get used to having someone around me who has real feelings. Tomo and Ryota are machines, I can hit them with just about anything, they can take it." Torio rolled to the other side of the table. "What do you think? Can you stick with me a few more days?" He didn't want to appear too pushy, but he would go to the extreme just to see Mori again. The thought of meeting an alien robbed him of his sleep. Nothing else mattered. He wrote down all the events of yesterday, noted the time and duration, put up his own theories about how, when and where the alien reappeared and wrote a shopping list.

"You mean... I'll get another chance?" she batted her long eyelashes and smiled seductively. "Don't regret this..." Both laughed at the ambiguous promise and the blond astronaut could hardly wait.

His daily schedule was set. Consisted of various physical activities that would take April a lot of energy. He wanted to tire her out and since last night was short for her anyway and pushing a wheelchair was not part of her daily routine, it would not be too difficult. So he suggested..:

"We're going on a trip downtown. I have some errands I need to run, and you can help me do them."

No sooner said than done. With his freshly made-up and prettily dressed companion, the astronaut took a taxi to the shopping metropolis in the heart of the city. Torio had never been here before and, to be honest, he would have liked to spare himself this, but Mori, yes, he called his fantasy just like that, was worth it. They spent half the day in various fashion stores, household and delicatessen shops and only returned to Torio's apartment after a substantial lunch. April fell tiredly onto the couch and shook her arms to relax her tense muscles. She had insisted on pushing him in a wheelchair, which wasn't really necessary, but she wanted to prove to the blond man how much she was behind him. This huge shopping mall, with all the hurdles, high ramps, lifts that were far too small, miserable long corridors and far too many people, was a huge challenge. And maybe the fashionable lady was wearing the wrong shoes, because her feet hurt too.

"We should put away our shopping, some of it belongs in the fridge and would you be so kind as to fill the ice cube containers. so they'll be ready for our drinks in the evening." He shooed her back up and she obediently followed him into the kitchen with the grocery bags.

"Heavens! Torio, what are you doing? What do you need so many ice cubes for? Are you going to take a bath in them?" She laughed and took at least 20 of those square shapes out of a sack. "One cocktail, that's all I'm having tonight. The aspirin saved me today, but despite the spicy pizza, I still have that bitter chocolate taste on my tongue, I don't understand it. I don't even like this stuff?" She raised her shoulders uncomprehendingly and handed the man more things from the shopping bag: Cool Pats, ice cream, cooling body lotion, a fan...

"You're really a weird guy, but... you know... that's what makes you so... irresistibly interesting." She turned to him and smiled sweetly. "With so many cold things to do tonight, I'm getting hot already." Torio raised one eyebrow and looked at the watch. It was only four in the afternoon. Was it supposed to...? He closed his eyes briefly and tried to think of Mori, but there was nothing. In shock, he flinched as April put her hand on his shoulder. He saw her face coming closer, ... no, it definitely wasn't inside her, because instead of a hard-on he got goose bumps all over his body.

"Oh, let's get some more air, I wanted to give you some more baskets." He turned his wheelchair around and April stumbled awkwardly to the side.

"Oops, you don't mean..." she moaned behind him.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. You'll love it." With a wink, he grabbed the ball out of the net in the front yard and encouraged her a little bit more: "Every time you score, you give a reward."

At first, she grumbled and showed little interest in his training, but then she played along, running back and forth to throw the ball to Torio over and over again so he could throw it into the basketball hoop high above her. A few times the throw went many meters off, to increase the mileage of the woman.

This went on for almost two hours until she finally begged him for a break.

"Let's call it a day. I need a shower and then I'll look forward to that cocktail you promised me." To her great surprise, he agreed without further ado.

"Tired?" he asked hypocritically, grinning cheekily at the blonde American girl. She had made herself comfortable on the sofa after occupying the bathroom for almost 30 minutes.

"Tired is not an expression... broken describes it much better." Despite the rough day, she smiled. It was a lot harder than yesterday, but to see the smile on his lips was worth all the strain.

"I'll take care of dinner. Put your lovely legs up and rest. From now on, you're free." She didn't let him say that twice.

"That's sweet of you. Tomorrow ..." she yawned long and theatrically. "I'll cook... I'll do my best... I promise." He nodded, gave a thumbs-up and left the big living room for the kitchen.

Mori fidgeted nervously on the spot. The water splashed around his ankles and moistened his raised trouser legs. Time didn't seem to want to pass today somehow. His brother had to go back to school, but promised to be with him again by evening. As discussed, the older one would not return to Torio alone. It was too risky. Even if he could now find out why the first time became such a disaster, he should know his brother as a saving support nearby.

The reason for the narrow fainting was the high alcohol level in April's blood. The aliens, super intelligent beings, could tolerate almost anything but spirits. Even beer would set them off. And the mixture of the alien's great love and the wine in the American woman posed a problem for Mori. He could only hope that the pretty blonde had not had another drink today. That's why he didn't want to wait too long and try his luck much earlier.

It was six in the evening and Mori was impatient.

"If you're not here in five minutes, I'm leaving without you, Hichan," he murmured into a kind of wristwatch, but got no answer. Carefully, he kept stroking the confusing tassels of his feelers. The most sensitive and valuable organ of this species on planet 10969 OOR. These up to 50 centimeters long extendable antennas, united different sense organs and were vital for Mori. With them he could breathe, no matter where and in which atmosphere he was. This camouflage cover also emanated from the practical telescopic tube, which meant that an alien seemed invisible to everyone else. But the most important thing about these body parts was a so-called tracking system, which was necessary for finding a suitable partner. The love came from the tassels, not from the heart like with us humans. The bigger and more splendid the fine, elastic threads, which stood at the end of the feeler, from a purple red head, the more intensely the alien felt its tassel pain (Heardache).

The first thing you could recognize in the delicate, rather small Mori were his outstanding flowering antennas, which shone in full color. It was obvious, He had found his love. The most exciting and beautiful thing that could happen to an alien, but what if the chosen one was a human and not even a woman?

"I can do this." One final tender caress over the unique organ, confirmed his intention, and he rose from the ankle-high water. "You know where to find me, Hichan..." And off he went.

Hichan cursed his professors in the strongest possible terms. They had actually ratted him out. Now the special forces were breathing down his neck, guarding him. If he would teleport to his brother now, they would be behind bars faster than they could explain the situation. All that mattered here was the safety of the aliens. They didn't want to be recognized under any circumstances, so the unhappy love for a human was a great offence and was severely punished. The rules had to be obeyed with sticks, otherwise one put everyone in danger, the aliens and humanity.

'I beg you Mori, be careful. ' the younger brother prayed and hoped for his common sense. twisting his eyes. "as if he had ever possessed it. Before leaving Mori early in the morning, he ordered him to look through all the "forbidden" platforms on the cell phone watch to increase his knowledge of changing different media. There was so much to observe and follow that the lover didn't know, that he had never been interested in before, he would never have thought of trying. But as it is in life, this also applies to aliens, it usually comes differently than one thinks.

So the redhead crouched with hanging head and feelers at the entrance gate of the school and thought about how he could trick his guards. He wanted and had to go to Mori, to possibly get him out of the mess again, because Hichan knew a way for his brother to unite with the human by now, but didn't get the chance to tell him. All his conversations would be bugged, as the elder was already suspected to be a so-called defector. It looked hopeless at the moment, unless Mori himself came up with this idea.
