《Flashback {Toruka}》Flashback 23

As his hand danced on the paper, the slender vocalist sneaked glances on the clock hung on the wall "ten more minutes" he muttered, pretending to concentrate on his paper. Taka snuggled further into his lover's side, his legs raised to his chest, serving as a background to his music sheets. Toru strummed softly on his guitar, smiling at the vocalist's warmth. The two clock hands met at twelve, their sizes overlapping as Taka tilted his head upwards. December 7 striked as his lips met the blonde guitarist's cheek. "Happy birthday, my favourite leader" Taka whispered, preventing his face from flourishing with red.
Toru's thin fingers stopped their movements on the strings, slowly touching the side of Takahiro's face, moving it towards his own "You really love catching me off guard don't you?" He murmured with a meak thank you before pressing his lips to his boyfriend's, instantly forgetting the gravity of the world around them, falling into a spiral abyss of soft feathers, and the sweet taste of their love. "Why do you insist on making me fall for you harder everyday?" Toru questioned curiously, locking sight with Taka's dark black eyes. The darkest shade of colour though they were, they still radiated warmth and brightness, like swimming in a pool of warm water, or snuggling up by the chimney in a cold winter. Taka simply giggled in response, returning to his initial position before the clock striked.
"mouuu" Taka complained softly a while later, catching Toru's attention. "A block again?" Toru smiled, gently swiping Taka's black bangs. The latter just nodded and started doodling on the edge of the paper. "Stay here, I'll make us some hot drinks. Maybe chocolate?" He suggested before heading to the kitchen, setting his guitar by the sofa. "Don't burn the kitched down!" Taka called after his lover, sniggering to himself. "When will you lay off my poor cooking skills?" Toru yelled back from the kitchen, smiling to himself as he heard Taka's laughs echo. As the powdery chocolate dissolved in place, Toru fished out his boyfriend's favourite cup, gently pouring him his share. His hands clutched around the two containers as he walked soundlessly towards the living room.

As he emerged further into the room, his eyes fell upon a sleeping Taka, his chest heaving up and down slowly. The tender breath exiting his nose tickling the papers resting on his chest. An unconscious smile crept to the guitarist's perfectly shaped lips as he set down the mugs. He adjusted his partner's position, lightly taking aside the lyrics sheets. "And you still insist on working this late" Yamashita crouched down by his lover, gently stroking Taka's face, preciously as his most treasured possession. "Takahiro" he whispered, but no response was provided. With a huff the blonde stood up, placing his hands around his petite lover, chuckling as he noticed his increase of weight.
Up in their room Toru set Taka down on the soft bed. The leader peaceably threw the warm sheets over the sleeping figure, humming the tunes they were composing lately. It always amazed him how Taka composed his songs, always reminding him that it was the right decision to invite him to the band, or maybe stalk him. With a low snicker he sneaked under the covers, smiling as Taka moved to his chest. Whether it was him pretending to be asleep so he would carry him, or his body subconsciously finding its place by his side, Toru felt bliss befall him.
A couple of hours later Toru's eyes snapped open to the unusually shining sun of December. He checked his phone, but it was already noon. Getting up in a hurry, he searched for his missing lover. He descended the stairs stealthily, his eyes finding a Taka in some shorts and a T-shirt he used to go out, a mask and dark shades lay on the counter and two bags were thrown on the couch. "What's going on?" He asked, scratching his messy hair. "Today is December 7" Taka simply responded, with a soft hug he gave to Toru with a whispered 'Morning' , before immersing himself back in what he was doing.
"And?" The younger questioned, not so on track with Taka. "Oh please don't tell me aging is affecting your brain" Taka answered jokingly, only getting a frown in response. "Toru I'm sorry I didn't mean to-" he quickly apologized, thinking he hurt his lover who only laughed in response, "no it's okay, but I really don't understand, why were you out this early, alone?" He answered, giving curious looks around then at the bags Taka gestured to. "Today is your birthday, we have to celebrate" Moriuchi clarified, his eyes lighting up as the door bell rang. He ran towards the door, admitting his two band mates. "Happy Birthday Toru-chan!" Ryota beamed as Tomoya forced a cake on the guitarist. "Strawberries?" Toru perked a brow, throwing acusing looks towards the smallest one in the room.

Taka's face hosted a colour of pink as he busied himself with the decorations, spilling the contents of the bags everywhere. The rhym duo proceeded to help him as Toru retreated upstairs to get a change of clothes. Once decorations were set and the birthday song was sung, they all sat down to ravish the cake. However, as Toru dipped his attention in the plate, Taka sneaked up beside him, placing one of his knees on the couch beside Toru as he ripped a birthday hats bag. "Hehe" he muttered as he forced the first one on his partner's head, squeezing the band around his expressionless face. "What are you doing?" Toru inquired as he heard Taka giggling. Tomoya clutched his hand on his mouth as Taka accumulated the hats over each other.
The quietest of the four got up, finding a mirror to view Taka's doing. As he came back with a bored Gachapin expression, Taka fell on the sofa laughing, trying to get out his phone, taking an urgent shot of the taller male. "This is going to my feed Toru!" He warned before another outburst of laughter, amazed by Toru's ability to keep his face straight. "You.." Toru muttered, slowly edging towards Taka who had his eyes closed. "No Toru!" Tomoya called from behind, thinking Toru was angry, nevertheless, the younger's hand smashed in the cake slice, then the cream was smeared on the vocalist's face. "Someone should get covered with cream, isn't this the tradition?" He triumphantly elaborated to Taka, who only looked stunned at Toru's actions. "Eeeeh why should it be me?!" Taka pouted adorably, licking the excess cream of his lips, as his large almond eyes looked up at Toru, trying to muster an innocent gaze.
"Tomo-kun look" Toru heard his childhood friend speak, showing some photos to their drummer. His head slowly turned towards the two, his eyes slightly widening at their evil smirks as he edged towards them. The blonde peaked over the screen, shock visible all over his handsome features. "You guys!" Toru pleaded as Ryota prepared his post, photos of him with pigtails, he took back when they were filming the Dreamer parody. "Stop!" Toru blushed as Ryota pressed the post button, his laugh thundering in the room. "Idiot Ryota!" The leader smacked his head, desperately flopping on the couch as his three friends laughed, later pulling a smile to his face as well. "Toru" Tomoya called later, handing Toru the gift he prepared the day before. "Thank you!" Toru grinned at him, his face hosting happiness that only dropped as he saw his oldest friend beckoning the bassist. "Where are you guys going?" He asked dumbfounded, his gaze as confused as Taka's when he looked for an answer. "It's been so long since we united don't leave this early please" he beseeched, trying to get up only to be stopped by Ryota's brief hug. "We'll meet again Toru-chan" the one with the brightest smile assured. "We're just giving you some private time to celebrate together with Mori-chan" he winked at his friend with a shoulder pat.
"Thank you again, Tomo, Ryota" Toru bowed his head slightly, waving his friends goodbye at the door, his arm over Taka's shoulders. The shorter's arm wrapped around Toru's waist as he smiled at him fondly. "So what do you want to do 'in private'?" The vocalist laughed as he closed the door. "I really don't know, but certainly not fall asleep writing lyrics" he teased, receiving a glare in return. "Don't be mad" the guitarist snicked, pressing his lips to his lover's forehead. "Happy birthday Toru" Takahiro repeated, his arms coiling around Toru's neck, who countered the embrace with a tighter one, a smile adorning his carved lips.

8 155Fortuna Verto
A girl’s luck changes when her world changes upon itself, sending her back and forth between a world she knows and another that shouldn’t even exist. Working with her parallel self from that other world, the two must adjust to their alternate form when visiting the other’s world, as they search for a way to escape the chains of misfortune they are bound to. While this story is the conclusion of the trilogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, as the world of Celese itself is no longer a place the characters will be journeying through. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for all previous books, in case that matters to anyone. This book has an additional chapter after the final chapter that represents the trilogy conclusion, and should not be read until all three books are read first. Fortuna Verto continues the events of Essentia Animus to advance society into a sci-fi interpretation of Celese, bringing events to a distant world of another star. At the same time, events interpret a real-world advancement into a similar sci-fi age of another planet that shares Earth’s galaxy, a planet that has also been linked by the Celesi Veil. English remains predominant in both worlds of the story, but the presence of both sides makes certain Aethyx terms stand out, while Earth-styled scientific terms will also stand in a powerful contrast. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.

8 194Conquest Of Mortem
*NOTE* This novel is a war of attrition. To say anything less is a disservice to its demand. While comparable to other such works as Ulysses or Moby Dick, each sentence in Conquest is an enemy to be tackled. Not in the ways of difficulty but in absurd density that wishes nothing more than to destroy what patience you may have. Do not tackle chapters as you would ordinary chapters in an ordinary book. Tackle each chapter as a book unto itself. A foe to be vanquished, a period of life to leave behind. Seek to be master of this work. Seek to overcome. For in its design is the willpower, and the perseverance, and the strength of someone who sought meaning in struggle. As I discovered these in times of ultimate desperation, so I hope for you to discover these things. This novel is a love letter to your trials. May you overcome them. May you master them. May you become conquerer.- SeedSagaA literary epic for logophiles, philosophers, and poets alike. A journey into zeitgeist, the impact of media on culture, and the endurance of morality against an onslaught of hatred. These vague descriptions do little to compact Conquest's density into a bite-size summary. They do however relate the basest themes found within. A plot, if such can be surmised, is strung thinly across multiple perspectives, weaving together these concepts into a seemingly distorted tapestry of indecipherable events. Inspired by early 20th century modernism, Conquest will challenge the reader, and provide critique on the medium upon which all great stories are derived. Further interpretation is up to you now; an explorer among a sea of words. Venture on and discover what lies ahead, in...CONQUEST OF MORTEM
