As ambitious as they were, ONE OK ROCK dreamed bigger and higher until they reached their first world tour, their first time performing outside of Japan. That being said, anxiety hovered over the four, hung in the air long enough to make it stifling.
They went to bed early the day right before the very first concert, for the sole reason of not dwelling over depressing thoughts.
Deep into the night, Taka's sensitive ears caught shallow shuffling of sheets and soft foot steps right after. At first, he thought one of his friends wanted to grab some water or visit the bathroom, however, the steps lasted for a while. As careful as possible, he peered his head through the curtains of his bunk, only to find the blonde guitarist pacing up and down the bus. "Toru?" He called softly "is something wrong baby?"
The younger man hesitated a bit before heading over to his lover who was already standing in the aisle of the tour bus. "What is it?" The vocalist asked tenderly, cupping Toru's cheeks. "It's nothing" the latter responded "I just had a bad dream and I can't sleep, maybe because I'm so nervous for the concert" Toru whispered back, seemingly humiliated. "And?" Taka inquired, obviously not believing that what Toru said was the whole story.
"I really don't know Taka.." he murmured, his eyes becoming glassy as he tried his best to ignore them "it's fine, just tell me everything" Taka soothed lovingly wrapping his arms around Toru's neck while stroking his blonde perms. At last, the guitarist gave up pretending and sniffed into his lover's shoulder "I'm feeling terrible Taka" he sobbed "I don't even know why, I'm so scared. What if I messed up tomorrow, what if everyone came to hate OOR because of me? I don't want to waste all of your hard work because of me." Toru tried to continue his trails of confessions but his cries stepped in the way. He tightened his grip around Taka's back and smiled as Taka returned it with a tighter one.

"Toru...hubby.." he started "it's totally normal to be nervous, don't be ashamed of that ok? But, you won't mess up, no one will hate you. Absolutely not. Even if you make mistakes, it's fine too. We all make mistakes constantly. I always forget lyrics and you guys forgive me" he chuckled softly "we won't say that you wasted our hard work or meaningless nonsense like that."
"It's cute when you forget lyrics though" Toru said through his tears "c'mon c'mon you spoiling lover of mine" Taka laughed, patting Toru's back roughly.
"Taka?"
"Hm?"
"I...c-can't sleep without you anymore" the blondie mumbled "it's already been two days, I miss you"
Although touched by his lover's vulnerability, Taka managed to blush as he untangled his hands from their embrace "you should have said sooner Baka" he smiled as he slid into his bed "c'mon hop in"
"but.."
"it's alright, I can finally make use of my size" he grinned as Toru crawled to his side.
The young frontman scratched his curly strands before slipping his hand around his soulmate's back, stroking it gently until Toru fell asleep, a tiny smile on his lips.
The next morning, the two lovers were still deep into their slumber when the rhythm duo retreated from dreamland. "Tomo-kuuun, have you seen Toru?" Ryota called as he saw Toru's empty, unusually exposed bunk. "Maybe he went somewhere?" Tomoya replied as he prepared their breakfast.
"Mori-chan-" his sentence was cut short, a smile making its way to his lips instead "Tomo-kun, I found him" he mentioned, staring at his childhood friend. Toru was snuggled into Taka's chest, hugging him so tight as if Taka would go anywhere who in turn wrapped his hands around his precious one. "Let them sleep, it's still early for rehearsals" Tomoya said, joining Ryota while they slowly moved the curtain shut.

I am proud of myself for writing."The last months have been a true roller-coaster of emotions for me, and I did the one thing a writer would do in such a situation-I wrote about them. I believe in the healing and therapeutic power of writing. And so, I wrote poems. Poems that I want to share with the world. This is the collection of the poetry that I wrote so far. The poems that may be written in the future, after the collection is out, will also be uploaded.
