《Flashback {Toruka}》Flashback 5

"That was fun!" Ryota squealed as the last fan they met disappeared out of sight. Another meet and greet event was wrapped up,however Ryota noted that Taka wasn't happy as he was frowning before storming off to somewhere with fewer people.
"Toru?" Tomoya asked concerned having been noticed the vocalist's unusual behaviour. "I'll go check on him" the band leader chanted completely unaware about what was next to come.
After a fairly extended search for the little vocalist,Toru finally found him behind the building they were in,tilting his head staring at the beautiful moon beaming at them despite the darkness that tried to drown it's glory.
Toru carefully edged towards his petite lover wrapping his strong arms around him as he stuck himself to Taka's back resting his chin on the shorter's head. Within seconds, Taka squirmed out of Toru's grip as he glared at him, glared so hard as if glares could stab. "Taka what's wrong?" "Oh nothing. Did you enjoy her kiss?" "Huh kiss? What are you talking-" Toru sealed his lips as realisation hit him hard.
He released a breath he hadn't realized he'd been suppressing and watched as it twirled into the crispy night breeze. "Taka listen" said the blonde guitarist when he finally found the words he was searching for in the cabinets of his mind. "It was only my cheek, besides I couldn't have done anything about it" "she's only a fan,you could have pushed her away!" The younger male heaved a sigh and talked slowly trying desperately to reach his frustrated boyfriend "Calm down Taka. You value fans so much you wouldn't say that it you're not frustrated" "of course I'm frustrated!" "Taka I didn't say anything when Ryota kissed your cheek jokingly" "RYOTA IS-" "a man. Ryota is a man. Do you think that I wasn't jealous? But i knew you weren't cheating on me and i think you should know that I wasn't either" "Toru I-" "move the rehearsals are about to begin" Toru uttered hurt by his lover's mistrust.

He pushed Taka aside lightly and emerged into the building again hoping to translate his frustration into melodies during his upcoming rehearsals. Tears sprang from Taka's eyes only to wiped away immediately by his small gentle hands, he kept reminding himself that he had to hide his pain,he had to untangle the knots in his throat,he can't disappoint everyone right before the concert.
Almost every person in the surrounding staff detected the stiffness that hung over them, even air seemed to move slower for despite their professional smiles, it was pretty obvious that something was wrong with the couple as gloom lied in their eyes. Minutes slid by,minutes turned to hours which eventually lead to the end of rehearsal time.
"Taka!" Toru's scream fell on deaf ears as Taka didn't spare his lover a glance before heading off into the night. Shortly after, a comforting arm was wrapped around the guitarist's shaking shoulders "Toru you should go inside for now" Ryota almost whispered kindness covering his features just like a silky blanket. "No..I-" Toru's words quivered imitating his head's continuous shaking. "I need to follow him" Toru mumbled trying his best to hold back his tears that miserably escaped his lids when Ryota's arms embraced him.
"It's alright Toru, you don't have to act tough with me." The guitarist burried his head deeper into his best friend's neck grateful for the sheer absence of prejudice in his speech. "Mori-chan is really the only one who can make you cry don't you think? I've been with you for so long that this has become so obvious" the bassist chuckled lightly waiting for his childhood friend's composure to come back after it decided to forsake him for the past minutes.
"You know Toru, I shouldn't be the one reminding you that Taka won't listen no matter what you say when he's angry. So I was thinking...why don't you give him some time to calm down before you talk to him again?" "Mhm ok" Toru affirmed choosing to trust Ryota's words blindly before earning a slap on his shoulder. "C'mon! Where did you hide the cheerful Toru I know" Ryota said forcefully pulling a smile from his friend who copied his like a miror. "Now now move Tomo has already called you a cab". "Thanks guys" Toru smiled at his friends as he closed the car's window blocking every cold's pathway, but he didn't know if it was the coldness of the weather or the one coating his heart.

The lovers' quarrel stretched upon days, even when it was their performance day,it never ceased to stretch its tentacles furthur. They were halfway through the concert and awkwardness still kept the two apart. Even when Ryota tried to push them together they still repelled each other like oppositely charged magnets.
Time to play 'The Beginning' arrived carrying another wave of regret to crash into Toru. "Don't worry it's safe here in my arms" was the sentence Taka said that completely broke the guitarist down 'yeah, the arms I pushed you with instead of embracing you with them' he thought bitterly. Even though his fingers danced perfectly on the strings not missing a beat, Toru's mind was far from there, his mind has escaped elsewhere,to where he can be happy with Taka again,to where he can find a deadline to their silly argument.
At that moment, the guitarist was ignorant of his surroundings, neither the lights nor the high beats went through him,he only realized it when a staff member was helping him up a two meters hole beneath the stage. Oh...he fell down, Taka was running towards him. "I'm fine don't worry" he brushed the vocalist off despite his thrashing need to hug him seeing that he can't ruin the event they have worked so hard for because of his selfish wishes.
Taka listened to his boyfriend and continued to sing in spite of the fact that his eyes never left the guitarist searching for the tiniest wince of pain.
As soon as the concert ended, Taka rushed after his boyfriend who was escorted backstage, forgetting about his other two bandmates who were bidding farewell to their faithful audience. "T-toru..are you alright?!" Taka blurted watching his lover's injuries being treated "I'm fine" Toru said clenching his teeth hoping that his pain won't spill his beans. "It's alright" he continued holding Taka's trembling hands. Toru squeezed the vocalist's waist as pain lacerated his left arm, bruises and deep cuts mapping every inch of it marching up to his shoulder along with his back.
After the man's injuries were treated,he was escorted home by his bandmates. The eldest and youngest of them left late that night leaving Taka behind to take care of Toru who had a hard time processing the previous events. "Toruuu I'm gonna cook you something to eat,are you craving anything?" "You" "O-oi" Taka stuttered as red rose to his face "come here Taka" the vocalist obeyed regardless of the heat that was almost visibly radiating from his visage.
Taka stumbled forward when Toru pulled him falling smoothly into his lap. "H-hey your arm!" The elder spluttered pretending not to like the other's warm comfort. "I'm sorry" "huh? For what?" "I'm sorry for letting her kiss me Taka,I really should have pushed her away" "you don't have to apologise Toru, I shouldn't have acted so foolishly. I'm the one who's sorry" "being jealous only means that you love me idiot" "yeah it does" Taka mumbled peppering his lover's cheek with kisses.
"What are you doing?" The blondie laughed at his boyfriend's actions. "I'm just replacing that woman's kiss. No one other than me is allowed to kiss my Toru" at that moment Toru was trying his best to the greatest possible extent not to restrain Taka and eat him up. Throwing that thought away into his not to do list,he encircled Taka's slender waist and captured his pinkish plump lips.

Unfortunately though, Alen was thrust into a forest of corpse-eating bears and horribly smelly undead on his first day, one of the many danger-zones of the continent the gods had chosen to throw them in.
