Here I was, early in the morning, drinking my tea.....and not expecting Inumuta to be coming over this early.

Ryuko: ....Come again?

Inumuta: I said, when was the last time you had a checkup?

Uhhh.......Shit. I never really thought about that. I've never felt sick or anything. And plus, I've had Senketsu a long time. If something was wrong and I couldn't tell them he would.

Ryuko: ......Would it be good if I said never?

He sighs and fixes his glasses.

Inumuta: You know that your marriage paperwork was handled by me correct?

Ryuko: No, I didn't know that.

Inumuta: Never the less, you have no medical records. So, you need a check up before the process can be finished. Then, you'll receive your marriage certificate.

It doesn't make any movements, but I guess it does understand.

I take it off the hanger before looking at it. It looks back at me, waiting.

Ryuko: So, you going to come on or what?

It still doesn't move.

Ryuko: Look, remember what I said? I'm not wearing you like Satsuki did. I could tell there was something different between you and her. So, if we're going to bond, I'm not going to put you on myself. I want you comfortable.

It looks at me some more before it opens up and starts to attach itself to me. When it's fully on, I fix my hair before coming back downstairs.

Ryuko: Alright, I'm ready.

Inumuta stares at me for a while before clearing his throat and shifting his glasses.

Inumuta: I still can't believe your accepting that.....thing.

I sigh before walking to the door.

Ryuko: Less talking more walking. You already know my reasoning. So move on.

He sighed before following me out the door.

I'm sitting in Inumuta's office, just looking around the room. The guy is really into technology. I lean back in my chair and close my eyes to just get into my own thoughts. But I can't. I feel like something bad is about to happen. I open my eyes as I hear the door open.

Inumuta: Sorry for the wait. We have to run alot of test.

Ryuko: It's fine it's fine. So, what did you find out?

He sits at his desk while looking through the file.

Inumuta: Firstly, look at this.

He slides something me way. An x-ray?.......I... Don't seen anything wrong.

Ryuko: I don't see anything.

Inumuta: And a normal person wouldn't. I'm going to do the thing, you can look away if you wish.

Ryuko: Na. It wouldn't be the weirdest thing I've seen.

He nods before taking off his glasses. He taps his right temple as his face opened, revealing many tools and gadgets. He pulls out what looks like a magnifying glass before closing his face. He hands it to me.

Inumuta: Look across your chest.

....Okay......I don't.....see any....!!

Ryuko: Woah! What the hell is that?

Inumuta: You see now?

Ryuko: What even is that?

Inumuta: It seems to be residue from your bond with Senketsu. His strings have become one with your heart and are wrapped around it.

That......woah....no way....

Ryuko: But, what caused them to stay? Why didn't they vanish?

Inumuta: That is an odd question to answer. But, something noticable is that your red streak only appeared when Senketsu was alive. When he died, it vanished. But, Junketsu must have caused those strings to reactivate. Maybe they senses fibers similar to Senketsu and reactivated.

Ryuko: But what does it have to do with Junketsu?

Inumuta: It's only a theory......But....

He leans forward and rest his elbows on his desk while putting his hands over his mouth.

Inumuta: If you want to find out these secrets of those strings, you'll have to form the same bond with Junketsu you have with Senketsu.

Well, that does seem workable. But that does rely on Senketsu.

Inumuta: There is one more thing I'd like to ask of you. And this will be quite personal and probably invasive.

Ryuko: Uhhh....Okay. Shoot.

He puts his glasses back on before looking at me.

Inumuta: Have you had vaginal sex with Sonia at all?

Okay, Firstly, what the fuck? Secondly, that's super random.

He flips through the papers before putting one in front of me.

When we get to his lab, Junketsu modified itself to remove my skirt and underwear as I layed on the table. He comes over to me with an array of needles and liquids. He picks up one of the needles and moves it to my arm.

Inumuta: You'll be out cold before you know it.

Ryuko: How long will this take?

Inumuta: I'll use one to wake you up when I'm done.

Ryuko: Wait this keeps me asleep?

Inumuta: No. It keeps you out for 4 hours. But I'll be over sooner than that.

Well.....Guess I'll just relax and-

.......Oh right......ugh, why do I feel so...groggy?....

Inumuta: Your awaking. Sorry, this took longer than 4 hours.

I sit up and rub my head.

Ryuko: So, did you find out anything?

Rias: He has. And he asked me to come over and help him.

Ryuko: Wait really? Then is this serious?

Inumuta: Indeed. Take a look at this.

He held out his right hand as a digital screen appeared.

Inumuta: Does this trigger any memory by chance? Any familiar feeling even?

Huh?.....No?..... Although, it does seem..... strange.

Ryuko: Yes?.....No?.....I think it triggered something but....maybe not?

Rias: So it does seem familiar.

Inumuta makes the screen vanish as he sits in his chair.

Inumuta: While I did some test, it seems this symbol is the cause of your sterility.

He pulled a book off the desk next to him.

Inumuta: Me and Rias went surshing in the old archives and found a book about the history of the Futanari.

Ryuko: Really? I thought information was scarce?

Rias: It is. But, it seems that it was preserved thanks to my great grandfather.

Ryuko: Well, start dropping the beans. I wanna know what's up.

Inumuta: Well, to be exact it's a type of curse.

Ryuko: Curse? From what?

Inumuta: A witch. I'll give you the short story. A raiding team came back to Atlantis with a new woman, one that was being treated badly on the mainlands. Not only that, but she had an incurable illness. They brought her to the Queen, who used the Trident of Blessings to heal her. She let her stay in Atlantis as long as she pulls her weight. And so she did. Turns out she was an Alchemist. She was able to provide potions and medicine of many types to help the people. But, what they didn't know was that she was actually a spy from the mainlands. The potions she had made had a different objective. It was to stop the Futanari from reproducing. In short, the same crest I showed you appeared on their ball sacks. But, nobody could see them until the Queen has noticed and made the announcement of that seal. The deed has already been done, and she vanished from Atlantis.

Ryuko: Woah......Okay, I'm about to sound like a kid right now, but what happened next?

He chuckled before continuing.

Inumuta: Well, the mainland had made a coordinated attack all around Atlantis. It was a battle that raged until Age 1379. That's when the Queen made the decision to sink Atlantis. Not only to stop the war and bloodshed involving her people, but to make sure an event like that never happened again.

Woah....... that's a lot to take in....But it makes sense why almost all information about them is lost, forgotten or is just fauls.

Ryuko: Okay, but how do I have the seal?

Rias: I've had some speculations that might be true. Theories are that futanari lived a bit longer after the sinking of the city. They lived in secret. And since futas can't have kids together, they of course had to reveal themselves. Although, the number of those who weren't affected by the potions and medicine is still up in the air.

Inumuta: And since you were born, that means some of them weren't sealed.

Ryuko: That still doesn't explain how I have this mark now.

Rias: There's only one way to find out. We have to find your mother.

My mom? No way. I can bearly remember anything about her.

Ryuko: You really think we can find her? Even I couldn't. Who knows where the hell she went.

Rias: You are right. But, maybe this is what she would want. She would only reveal herself when the time is right.

Inumuta: And that time is right now.

He puts the book down and stands.

Inumuta: Get your skirt back on and we're going out. If we find her, then we find her.

Rias: If not, then we need to find another way.

As I get up from the table, Junketsu reforms my underwear and skirt.

Ryuko: You have a way of trying to track her?

Inumuta: We can try and track her based on your DNA. It might be loose, but it's worth a try.

Ryuko: Then let's get out there and try to find her.

Mother.......I hope you have a good explanation. Because I'm gonna need to know the full story. And no less.

Ryuko: And that 'here' is?

Inumuta: I'm working on that part.

I sigh as we keep walking. At the moment, we're in a forest that is just radiating magical energy. So much so that it made Junketsu change without me attempting to. Even Rias is affected by this. Her hair and eyes are a glowing red.

Rias: We're getting closer. I can feel it.

Ryuko: Then let's find her. I want answers even if-

Oww!.....Did I just got a wall?.....Wait....feeling around it.... it's not just a wall.

Ryuko: Inumuta.

He walks up to it and puts his hand on it. The wall begins to ripple with blue energy before it reveals itself as a wall. More importantly, it all reveals to be a building.

This seems like the place. Not only that, but Rias is back to normal. Must mean this place has its own magical field around it to protect itself. I walk around it and to the front and up the steps. The two are behind me as I knock on the door. There didn't seem to be any sound coming from inside. As I'm about to knock again, I hear what I think is the lock on the door. It started opening inwards

???: Oh. Visitors. What brings you all out here?

Ryuko: Umm....Are you by chance a Matoi?

Her eyes briefly widen as she opened the door more.

???: Yes. I am a Matoi. Why must you ask?

Rias: Is it alright if we come in ma'am? We have much to talk about.

???: Oh. Of course.

She steps aside to let us in. The place is quite furnished. We walk in and sit on the couch. She closed the door before sitting in a chair infront if us.

???: So, what brings travelers like you all out here to see me?

Rias looked at me. I'm the only one who even has the right to talk about this situation. I let out a breath.

Ryuko: Well.....I'm.....I'm Ryuko. Your daughter.

She didn't react initially, but then she gasped and held her good hand to her mouth.

???: N-no......You....

Ryuko: Yes..... It's me.

She got up and I do too. She came to me and put her hand on my cheek.

???: It's...... It's really you..... You've grown.

Ryuko: Mom. I want answers. Why'd you leave? What happened to our race? Are there any of us left? Please mother.....

She stayed silent for a bit before sighing.

???: If you came all this way to find me, then that means your ready to know. But, I want to talk with you privately.

I nod and look to Inumuta and Rias.

Ryuko: You two can leave. I'll make my way back on my own.

Rias: You sure?

???: It's alright. I'll get her home.

Rias reluctantly nods before she teleported away with Inumuta. I sit back down as she sat beside me.

???: How is Xenovia? Why didn't she come with you?

Ryuko: She didn't know I was coming to look or you. Plus, she's not living in the same city as me at the moment. She's with her wife.

???: Wife!? That's amazing! You'd have to bring her next time you visit.

Ryuko: About that. Why are you out here?

She gave a nervous laugh as she rubbed her bandaged arm.

???: Well...... That's part of the story. I came here to escape being hunted.

Hunted? Are they still after her?

Ryuko: Who's hunting you? If their still around I could-

???: No. I took care of them.....I think at least. But, I wasn't unscaved. I lost my arm. But, with my magic and our Matoi powers, I was able to make one of their arms mine.

Ryuko: Wait....our Matoi powers?

She nods while taking hold of my hand.

???: We have something special about us. I didn't tell you this because it was for your safety. But, the futanari were targeted because of us. Wrapped around our hearts are special stings we call "Life Fibers". These Fibers are able to give life and power to anything they wrap around. One string has exactly 2,452,891,734. And you need 1 to bring a thing to life. One. And every Matoi has 10.

Ryuko: Wait wait wait. Bring things to life? And....their around the heart?

So....their not Senketsu's strings. Those we're just always inside me?

I watched as she moved over to one of the many plants. It didn't look so well, but it was still alive. She touched it as her arm started to be wrapped with a red aura. From her palm came the red strings and connected to the plant. It slowly gained life and returned to it's green color. But, it kept growing and growing. I was surprised that a small houseplant became a mini peach tree.

???: Life can be given to anything, not just the living. I used this as an example.

She picked a peach from it and walked back and sat down before handing it to me.

Ryuko: So, how do I do that?

???: You could. It'll take practice. And seeing that you've come, then you want to know more.

Ryuko: Not just more. Everything.

She was about to speak before she flinched and held her arm.

Ryuko: Are you alright mom?

???: Yeah. It's fine. It's just a small ache.......Hehe. And it still feels weird to hear you call me mother. Even if I was a bad parent for leaving you.

Ryuko: Even so, your still my mother. And you had to leave me for a reason. Plus, I want to know more. Oh! Actually, there's something I've been meaning to ask about. It's about the seal the futanari had placed on them.

She flinched and looked away from me.

???: So you found out about that?

Ryuko: That's what brought me to try and find you. Did you put the seal on me?

She put her hand on my head and nodded.

???: I did it to protect you. If you had been sealed, then you wouldn't be hunted. If they knew you could have children, then they wouldn't want the futa to return. And if they do, Atlantis will rise again.

Ryuko: It'll rise?

She nods and stands. She moves to the wall as I stand and get beside her. She puts her hand on the corner of a picture frame.

???: This picture. Can you tell who I am here?

Looking closer, there is a very tall woman with two on her shoulders. One seems to look like mom, the other I couldn't tell.

Ryuko: Your the one on the woman's shoulder right?

???: Correct. These are my sisters. Me, my youngest sister Akamali. And the 5th Queen Zura.

Ryuko: Woah....If it's alright, what's your name mom?

She giggled and set down the picture.

Fia: Fia. My name is Fia darling. And don't feel ashamed about not knowing. You can call me mom, mother, mommy or just Fia.

She then hugged me. I instantly hug her back before she pulled away.

Fia: How about you come back another day. My arm is still recovering.

Ryuko: Of course. I'll come and visit you as often as I can.

She smiled and rubbed my cheek.

Fia: And I'll be waiting. Now go. I shouldn't keep you too long from your friends.

I nod as she walks me out. I hugged her one more time before starting my walk back through the forest. She called dout to me before ei got too far.

Fia: Ryuko! One more thing!

I turn back around as she walked down the steps. I can back to her, slightly confused.

Fia: There's also another important thing I need to tell you.

Ryuko: What is it?

She looks away before sighing.

Fia: You......Have a biological sister.

Ryuko: What? Wait what?!
