《Living Clothing In A World Full Of Devils (Female Ryuko reader X Highschool DxD)》S5 E1: And Things Keep Moving

(Y/N): Is that everything?
Sona: Should be.
(Y/N): Then let's get moving. No time to waste.
Otoya: My first time leaving the city.....Is it alright to get excited?
Irina: Most definitely! Now let's go!
Everyone got in, but you stopped and looked around.
(Y/N): We're Raynare? I haven't heard from her since I woke up
Senketsu:
Sona: Something wrong (Y/N)?
Your not able to follow up on your thoughts. You nod before stepping on.
(Y/N): Yeah. You know where Raynare is?
That got her thinking. And by the look on her face, she doesn't know either.
(Y/N): Hey sis. You've been watching the longest. You know where Raynare went?
Xenovia: I don't. Ever since she helped us unpack, she just left.
Sona: I had a feeling she couldn't be trusted.
She walked to the sofa and sat down and crossing her arms.
Sona: She just up and vanished after helping. Not only that, but if she had noticed the snow storm I caused then she would have came back for answers. That means she ditched us to do her own thing. When we find her I'm gonna-
(Y/N): Settle down. Your not doing anything to her if we do find where she is.
Otoya: Who's this Raynare person?
(Y/N): A fallen angel. She's.....someone I trust. And I say trust loosely.
Sona: And she's someone I hate. Now more then ever.
The purple haired girl seem to go into thought before her eyes widen.
Otoya: Fallen you say? I think I saw one flying out of the city.
Irina: You know where she went?
Otoya: No. Fallen angels don't come to the city. There's nothing for them. So if one did come here, it had to be because of someone.
Everyone seemed to think about this before an idea came to your head.
(Y/N): She couldn't have.....
Irina: What? She couldn't what?

Senketsu:
Sona: What speculation?
(Y/N): None of you saw Koneko after she wondered off. Same with Raynare. There is a possibility........This could just be a hunch since her motives are still unknown.....But maybe she followed the person that took Koneko.
Xenovia: That's.....not unlikely. But why would she go alone is my question.
Senketsu:
(Y/N): We need to find her hideout. Somehow.
Silence then passed over all of you. The more you think about this, the worse every outcome can get. You look out the window, hoping........praying that you can fix Koneko....

Elsewhere, Koneko and Gamagōri were sparring. To the side, Inumuta and Satsuki we're watching over her vitals and her Kamui readings.
Inumuta: She's turning out really well.
Satsuki: Not enough. Turn it up.
The boy seemed hesitant, but complied.
{Kamui Amplifier: 20% → 40%}
Koneko's eyes became a brighter blue as her assault on Gamagōri forced him to become more defensive. He still wasn't getting scratched, but a punch to the gut made him winded.
Inumuta: The fibers are really showing their worth.
Satsuki: But it's not helping enough. Turn her up more.
Inumuta once again hesitated, but did so. Out of the three of them, Nonon is the most worried.
{Kamui Amplifier: 40% → 44%}
Nonon: Satsuki, you shouldn't push her past her limit too much. It could harm her.
Satsuki: And I should care? If she breaks, I'll find someone else. Turn it up again.
Inumuta: But lady-
Satsuki: Did I stutter?
He shakes his head and does so.
{Kamui Amplifier: 44% → 56%}
Out in the field, Koneko walks backwards and holds her head. Her eyes dilated and her teeth get sharper. She starts puking up some blood as she continues assaulting Gamagōri, becoming more animalistic.
Inumuta: Heartbeat increasing. Brain functionality somewhat stable.
Satsuki: That's not enough. I need her to be able to take down (Y/N) now. Go all the way!

Inumuta: But lady-
Satsuki: I said go all the way!
Nonon: No Satsuki! You pushed her too much! Anymore and her body will give out.
Inumuta: Precisely! The energy will fry her brain, making her give into her nekomata blood. Or her heat will explode.
Satsuki: I don't care about her being! She's replaceable just like you!
She reached for the command panel, but is stopped by Inumuta's robot arm.
Inumuta: I can't let you. You've crossed the line. Don't you think she's had enough?
Satsuki: Really? Well, I don't think I remember asking.
She grabbed his arm and threw him away.
{Kamui Amplifier: 56% → 100%}
{Kamui Amplification Overload!!!}
Koneko let out a bloodcurdling scream as blue lighting released from her body. The energy she releases forces Gamagōri back as he slides away. The girls eyes roll back in her head before their replaced by a glowing blue. Her body goes limp, standing in place. She has no reaction and makes no movements. Her head was tilted back. Blood was coming from the sides of her mouth and eyes.
Satsuki: You know Gamagōri....
The big man got up from the ground and look to her as she approched.
Satsuki: I half expected her to break. And she did. But not the way I expected.
He only continues to look in confusion between her and Koneko. She walked up to the Neko and grabbed her limp tail in her hands.
Gamagōri: I....could tell. I can feel her energy from here. But, what happened-
He stops what he was about to say and flinched when he heard steel hit flesh. His eyes then widen at what he saw. She cut off Koneko's tail at the base.
Gamagōri: L-lady Satsuki! W-why would you do that?!
Satsuki: She won't need it anymore. It was useless anyway. Her mind is too....well....broken.
The big guy keeps his mouth shut, in no position to deny her actions.
Satsuki: Now then, carry her for me back. I have already saw Nonon and Inumuta leave our ranks. They are now our enemies. When you see them, take them out.
Gamagōri: Yes, lady Satsuki.
She starts walking away first. Gamagōri picked up the girl and looked at her now blank expression.
Gamagōri: I'm sorry kid. I wish I could have helped you. But I'm bound to Satsuki by contract......I hope that your friends could lead her on the right path.....If not.....then I fear for this planet.
---------------------------------------------------------
Now walking through the forest, Nonon and Inumuta take their time to vent their frustrations.
Nonon: Why couldn't she just listen?! She just has to ruin everything!
Inumuta: I know how you feel. But right now, she's our enemy.
The short girl huffed before saying the thing the blue haired teen didn't want to hear.
Nonon: You know our Enemy is now our potential ally right?
Inumuta: Even if I don't want to believe it, your right. Hopefully were accepted.
He taps on his wrist as his helicopter came above them.
Inumuta: Let's go. The longer we have to walk the more I hate Satsuki.
Nonon: Agreed.
---------------------------------------------------------
You feel pain fill your chest, almost like you were shot. Sona and Otoya immediately came to your side.
Sona: (Y/N)! (Y/N) what's wrong?
(Y/N): K-koneko.....S-something's wrong with Koneko.
Sona: Not good......The hell could that bitch have done?
Otoya: I'm sorry I'm not getting the full story, but whatever happened to the one you care for, we'll make them pay.
Your helped off the floor, but your chest still hurts. More so your heart then your chest. Your anger for Satsuki is already reaching it's pinnacle. This pain you feel slowly turns to even more anger.

Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.
8 117I'll try this cultivation thing
Life is the biggest mystery of all. Magic is fascinating when depicted in a book but it becomes a normal thing when it's used for daily chores. A young soul like many other in the vast ocean of souls was reborn in a new world where new life and adventure waits for him. Cultivation, magic, laws, gods, heaven, hell. How will this young soul deal with the things that cross the boundary of one's imagination? A prologue or few chapters may look same but the plot might thicken and plotholes might shorten. Let's find out after few feedbacks.
