Jeongguk was busy with his laptop when the door slid open and he saw that Kim Taehyung was walking in even though they did not have any meeting today. Jeongguk was confused and was kinda scared too thinking what if Taehyung was here to cancel the deal because Jeongguk was in no way behaving 'strictly business'.

"You, here." Jeongguk nervously asked but didn't get any answer from the other as he saw him walking in.

"Actually....." Taehyung stopped for a moment and Jeongguk maybe for the first time saw him stuttering in front of him, "You can share anything with me."

"I... actually needed your help." Taehyung finally after fidgeting with the hem of his shirt started, "My best friend is coming to Seoul with his husband and planned a get together."

"That's great Taehyungie." Jeongguk smiled and waited for Taehyung to continue, not scared anymore about the older cancelling the deal.

"No, listen first. It's not good. He was setting me up on different blind dates and to avoid all those I just lied to him...." Taehyung again stopped in the middle of the sentence and Jeongguk knitted his eyebrows together, "And?"

"I told him that I have someone in my life which I don't have. Now he is insisting on bringing him to the get together. Now how do I bring a new boyfriend until you came in my mind." Taehyung gulped looking at Jeongguk who was grinning like an idiot now.

"What do you propose?" Jeongguk with a hint of tease in his voice asked and Taehyung pretended to clear his voice, "I want you to help me."

"Help you? How?" Jeongguk knew how Taehyung wanted him to help but he wanted to hear from his mouth and his wish was granted.

"Be my plus one for one day. Please." Taehyung requested and Jeongguk smiled, nodding his head furiously.

"This is like a dream come true. I am going to be your boyfriend. Oh wow." Jeongguk was super excited when his dream was about to fulfill but Taehyung just needed to shatter that.

"Fake boyfriend for one day only." Taehyung corrected and Jeongguk sighed, "Let me be happy, baby!"

"Baby?" Taehyung repeated that came out more like a question.

"I am your boyfriend remember?"

"Oof! fake boyfriend remember?" Taehyung replied and Jeongguk frowned while the other laughed.

"When is the get together?" Jeongguk asked excited and Taehyung kinda regretted his decision of taking Jeongguk's help but he didn't have any other option. Jeongguk probably was the one who would agree to this and he knew it.

"Tonight. At 8 o'clock. Pick me up from my house at 7:30 okay?" Taehyung asked and Jeongguk's happiness knew no bounds.

"Alright, baby." Jeongguk again called the writer baby but Taehyung didn't say anything other than just let out a sigh.

"What do you want me to wear?" Jeongguk asked when Taehyung was walking out of the cabin.

"Wear anything, you would look handsome." Taehyung praised but in a harsh tone but Jeongguk knew that Taehyung was trying to be rude on purpose. So, it was still happy with the fact that the other called him handsome.

"Thank you by the way." Taehyung thanked before exiting the cabin leaving a very happy Jeongguk inside.

Jeongguk checked his watch and it was 7: 24 pm. He was right on time. He checked his face using his phone's camera and smiled when he was satisfied on how he was looking.

He decided to wear casuals tonight cause people said that he looked extra hot in casuals. He was wearing a white t-shirt with a pair of ripped jeans. His signature timberland shoes was just an addition to his look. He let his long messy black hair on loose and finished his look a little lip balm.

He looked simple but stunning.

He got off his car and ran to the door. He was about to ring the doorbell when the door automatically opened. Jeongguk realized that it wasn't some magic and it was Taehyung who opened it, "I saw your car so... let's go."

Jeongguk was stunned to see Taehyung. He was looking different from the regular days but in way less pretty, he was looking a little extraordinarily beautiful today.

"You look so pretty." Jeongguk gaped at the other who smiled and checked Jeongguk from top to bottom and commented, "You look fine too." though he wanted to say that Jeongguk was looking damn handsome but didn't cause he didn't want him to get high hopes.

"Let's go then." Taehyung walked ahead and Jeongguk followed him.

"Hey, wait." Jeongguk increased his pace and when he was walking along with the other, he took Taehyung's hand in his and intertwined their fingers.

"What the hell?"

"Boyfriends, we are boyfriends." Jeongguk reminded and tightened his grip around the other's hand.
