"Here we are, precious." Ryujin softly spoke as she lifted your little girl out from her car seat and into her warm, safe arms. "Home sweet home."

She slowly walked to you and gently placed the tiny baby girl on your chest, letting her head rest comfortably right over your heart.

Ryujin was in awe of the two of you. For many reasons, she is amazed by you, more so than she ever has been before.

You've spent the last two days in the hospital.

It was in the early hours of the morning that your little girl decided she was ready to come into the world and off to the hospital you went.

It was a difficult couple of days but Ryujin knows that you find every minute worth it because she sees the look of pure love in your eyes every time you stare at your little girl.

And, for many reasons, she is also in awe of the baby in your embrace.

She was perfect, even more so than you both imagined.

"Ryujin?"

She snapped out of her thoughts as you quietly spoke her name.

"Yeah?"

"Are you going to lay with us?"

Ryujin's brown eyes were sparkling brighter than ever as she stared into yours. She nodded and kissed the crown of your head lovingly.

"Of course. But, before I do, is there anything you need? I know the walk up the stairs wasn't easy. I don't want you to have to move much if I can help it."

"I'm okay." You said. "I just want to lay here with my girls."

Her heart fluttered and right after, she was crawling under the covers to lay beside you.

She scooted as close to you and the baby as she possibly could. She slowly reached her hand out to touch the sweet little girl.

Your little girl.

The little girl you've both waited so long to meet and will cherish as you make an endless amount of beautiful and happy memories for the next several years to come.

She gently brushed her fingers across the baby's arm, trailing to her hand.

When she was born, when she first entered the world, Ryujin had reached out to take her tiny hand into hers and she grabbed onto it with her tiny fingers right away.

And Ryujin smiled from ear to ear when she did it once again; tiny fingers wrapping around her much bigger ones.

"I've dreamt of these moments." You quietly spoke and Ryujin turned her gaze away from the baby and to you, her eyes still holding that sweet adoring gaze. "When we'd all lay together in this bed; the three of us. I knew it would be magical but it's even more amazing than I thought it would be."

Ryujin brushed a lock of hair behind your ear and kissed your temple softly.

"Everything feels so perfect like this is where I've always been meant to be. With my girls. It's like all the pieces have just fallen into place and I have never been happier than this."

Ryujin noticed the tears in your eyes when you looked into hers. She's just as happy as you are, her eyes filling with tears over these last couple of days than they ever have before.

"I feel the same way. I've been to many places and I've seen a lot of beautiful, wonderful things but these last two days... I've never seen anything so precious or fallen so in love so fast."

You laid your head on her shoulder and stared back at your little girl. You gently brushed your fingers across her back while Ryujin marveled over her tiny and adorable features.

From her ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes to her little ears and her soft brown eyes, your little girl has already stolen Ryujin's heart in many different ways.

"Aren't you the most precious little baby in the whole entire world?" Ryujin softly spoke when your little girl opened her eyes and looked between the two of you. "So adorable. Everything about you. I can't wait to see you grow up and explore the world."

"Me too. But I'm not in any hurry for those days to come."

Ryujin chuckled, agreeing with you.

"No matter what happens, you have two moms that love you very much. We'll always protect you and love you, no matter who you grow up to be. We'll love you unconditionally, for the person you feel that you are, not for the one the rest of the world wants you to be. We'll always accept you and support you."

"Always, baby." You promised and kissed her head, watching as she closed her eyes.

"I'm so happy." Ryujin sighed contentedly.

"Me too." You said as you relaxed in her arms, yawning tiredly.

"My girls..." Ryujin softly spoke as you drifted off to sleep. "You're the best things to ever happen to me and I will make sure you both know how much I love you and how much you mean to me for the rest of my life."
