《Ryujin Imagines (gxg)》lean on me (requested)

"Ryujin?" You called out as you walked through the door. "Are you home?"
When you received only silence in response, you realized she wasn't home. You figured she must still be in the studio and hoped she'd be home soon because your day was absolutely terrible and you could use one of her big comforting hugs.
You walked upstairs to your shared room and fell onto the bed. You closed your heavy eyes, thinking that since Ryujin was still working you'd just take a little nap and hopefully feel more energized when she would finally get home.
But the sound of your phone ringing startled you and made your eyes fly right open. You quickly reached for your phone and felt a rush of happiness come over you when you saw that it was your mom calling.
You're very close with your parents and you always look forward to talking to them. You can't get home very often, because life keeps you so busy.
But you make time to talk to them every day and it always makes you so happy when you hear their voices.
"Mom! Hey, what's up?" You asked with a hint of excitement in your voice.
You expected to hear the same from her and your dad, so it instantly worried you when you heard your mom sniffling.
"Mom? What is it?"
"Y/N, something happened." She cried and you felt your heart pounding against your chest. "I hate calling you with such terrible news but you need to know."
"Know what? You're scaring me, mom."
"Honey... your dad got into an accident on his way home and he was rushed to the hospital but... he didn't make it."
Your heart dropped. You instantly felt tears in your eyes. This couldn't be real. It had to be a dream. Your dad is like your best friend. He couldn't be gone.
"No, he can't be." You started to cry.
"I'm so sorry." Your mother mumbled through her tears. "Honey, I'll call you back in a little while. I have to make a few more calls. If you need something before I call you back, call me right away."
The phone slid right out of your hands and onto the bed. You were in shock.

But you quickly came back around as Ryujin came to your mind. You need her now more than ever and as much as you hate calling and interrupting her on busy days like these, you have no choice. You need her.
You grabbed your phone and pressed it to your ear as it started to ring. You waited impatiently to hear her voice and when she answered, you couldn't help but sob.
"Y/N? Hey, baby!" She answered, obviously excited to hear from you.
But then, she heard you crying, and the happiness she once felt quickly faded.
"Baby? What's wrong? What happened?"
"Ryujin, I need you to come home." You sniffled. "My mom called and... my dad passed away."
Ryujin was just as shocked as you. It was so sudden and so unexpected. Your dad called before you both headed to work this morning, wishing you both a great day. She's close with your father, too. She felt just as crushed as you.
"Okay. I'm on my way right now. I'll be there in just a few minutes." She said as she began to gather her things with tears in her eyes.
The girls were all confused and concerned. Obviously, something was wrong and they wanted to know what it was, so they could try to help cheer up you and Ryujin somehow.
But as soon as Yeji touched Ryujin's back and Ryujin started to cry, the words fell from her lips and they knew that no matter how much they tried, nothing could cheer the two of you up right now.
"I have to go home. Y/N needs me."
"Yeah, we totally understand. Go!" Yuna soothed and watched Ryujin run out the door.
She ran to her car and drove home as fast as she could. When she pulled into the driveway, she slammed her car door and rushed inside the house as quickly as she could.
She didn't have to ask where you were. She followed the sound of your sobs right up to your shared room. Her heart shattered as soon as she saw you. On the bed with your face buried in the sheets as your body shook with how hard you cried.
"Baby," she whispered softly as she ran to you. She sat beside you on the bed, her hand instantly falling to your back.

"Ryujin," you cried and lifted your head to stare at her with red eyes and tear-stained cheeks.
She watched even more tears fall down your cheeks as you moved onto her lap, where you threw your arms around her and clung to her as tightly as you could.
Her hands fell to your arms, fingertips brushing along your skin softly. Her touch was so comforting. You fell apart right away.
You sobbed, feeling as if everything had lost purpose. Your dad was your best friend and he has been your entire life. This wasn't just you losing your father, it was you losing your best friend. Your biggest supporter. Someone that you turned to in your darkest times.
"It's okay." She whispered as she kissed your head. "Let it out, it's alright."
Your body shook as you cried harder than ever before.
"I didn't even get to tell him goodbye. I didn't get to tell him that I loved him one last time."
"I know, baby." She said as she tried to swallow the lump in her throat.
But seeing you so broken broke her, too.
"I know he knew you loved him so much."
"I do." You cried. "I don't know what to do without him."
Ryujin let you bury your face in her shirt. Your tears seeped right through but she didn't care at all. She rubbed your back as she let a tear fall from her eyes.
She was close with your dad, too. She's close with your entire family. Your dad had always treated her so kindly, making it known right away that he loved you so much and only wanted the very best for you.
He'd loved her right from the start, knowing she was different from all the others.
He was happy she was becoming part of the family, hugging her with open arms every time she came around to visit them with you. He impacted her life greatly and it hurt her to know he was gone.
"It hurts." You cried and she tightened her grip instinctively, wishing she could make it all better.
She'd never wished she could have one wish more than she did now. She'd bring your dad back in a heartbeat if she could. Even though she understood why your heart hurt so terribly, it hurt her to see you hurting nonetheless.
"What am I going to do now?"
"I don't know, baby." She whispered. "But you know I'm here for you. Through this really hard time, I'll be right here. I'll hold you tight whenever you need me to. I've got you, I promise."
You closed your eyes, thinking back to just this morning when you spoke to him.
You'd forever cherish each and every conversation you shared, every moment you spent together, all the good times and good memories you shared with him.
You'd never forget him or the feeling of pure love you always felt with him. You were his whole world.
You'd never forget that.
"I know it's going to hurt for a while. I know it's going to be hard. But I want you to know, whatever you have to do, I'll do with you. I'll be right by your side every step of the way, helping you heal in every way that I can. You're not alone. Okay?"
"Okay." You mumbled and pulled away from her neck, staring at her with tears in your eyes.
She brushed her thumbs below your eyes, catching the tears with her thumb and brushing them away when you closed your eyes and let them fall.
"I love you." She whispered. "I've got you."
"I love you too." You said before laying your cheek on her shoulder, letting the tears continue to fall as Ryujin held you tight and let you cry it out.
She'd let you cry it out for as long as you needed. She wouldn't dare let you go, making a mental note to call Yeji later and tell her she wasn't coming in tomorrow so she can be here for you through this really dark time.
She loved you too much. She'd need a little time to grieve, too. She knows you'll be leaning on each other for some time to come, knowing that's one way you'll get through this together.

The Helena Chronicles
Espers are really no different than humans; they look like any normal human and in general behave like any normal human. However, there are a few key differences. The max life expectancy of espers ranges from forty-five to fifty. They naturally have a knack for mathematics and are extremely intelligent in general, this is because their abilities rely on the subconscious and conscious calculations. They also have a mysterious energy source they call Focus that is generated naturally by all espers. The continent of Elestveeve is populated by three major factions, each a governing force. On the west of the continent, there is the Noble Houses that subscribe to the Deity Faith. The Houses ruling with the Deity Faith as council since the religion's founding four-hundred years previous. Controlling most of the northeast is WITCH, an organization ruled by powerful espers; claiming the mysterious Genesis as their capital, they are a whispered myth among much of the continent's less technically advanced residents. In the southeast you have Tech City, a towering monolith of a capital with four sky layers and metropolis' leveled deep underground; it is a city brimming with technical advancement and cyber integration. Each faction contends with one another for their evolutionary ideology, by devout religious worship to receive miraculous gifts, unique genetic lineage to obtain ESP, and technological integration to become something more than human. Helena, a young genius and esper, awakes in a dark room with only fuzzy memories and the company of seven other children. She must determine how she got there and how to get back to where she came from. Warning: Due to time constraints, I don't have the time to keep up on my three stories; therefore, Helena will need to go in a stasis chamber until I can find more time to write between work and life. I love my first girl so much! however, it seems she is the least popular among the fans (the poor girl T_T). This world is much bigger than my other two novels and I'm not giving up on it, but simply having to put her on ice.
