A rush of cool air running along your arms and the feeling of goosebumps appearing on your skin made your eyes fly open.
You reached for the blanket that you thought you kicked down to your feet, only to feel the fabric of your pajama bottoms instead of your blanket.
In your sleepy haze, you kept one eye open and one eye closed as you felt around for the cozy blanket. It took a minute but you soon felt the soft fabric against the tips of your fingers. You pulled at it, only to find it hard to pull away with it being tucked under your girlfriend's leg.
"Ryujin," you whined and continued to tug at the blanket. Soon, she stirred beside you with a whine falling from her lips and you managed to pull it away from her.
You covered yourself back up and laid your head back on the pillow before you closed your eyes.
But before you got the chance to fall back asleep, Ryujin was waking you up and tapping your back.
"What?" You whined tiredly.
"Did you just steal my blanket?"
You craned your neck to look back and stared at her with a look of disbelief in your eyes.
"No. I stole back my blanket that you stole from me. I woke up cold and you were the reason why."
"Oh," she mumbled and turned the lamp on momentarily and you buried your face in your pillow with a groan as it hit your eyes.
It was turned back off only a moment later and Ryujin quickly settled back down beside you.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah. Kicked my blanket on the floor in my sleep. Sorry I stole yours."
"It's okay, baby." You yawned and rested your cheek back on the cool pillowcase and started to drift off to sleep again, only for Ryujin to whisper your name.

"Y/n?"
"Yes?" You mumbled in your half-asleep, half-awake state.
"Are you still cold? If you are we can cuddle."
You knew she was just looking for a reason to cuddle up to you. It still made you smile though and you nodded.
In return, as she scooted behind you to cuddle you, she tucked the blanket around you and then moved closer to press her chest to your back.
"Warmer?"
"Much." You replied. "Thank you, Ryujin."
"You're welcome, my girl. I love you. Sleep tight."
"I will as long as you don't steal my blanket anymore tonight." You teased before you drifted off to sleep, but not without saying, "love you too, Ryujin. Goodnight."
