The sound of Ryujin's sweet voice in your ear made you stir from your peaceful sleep. Still tired though, you tried to bring the blanket over your head to block out the sunlight you already felt on your face that was coming through the open window. But your girlfriend just laughed and pulled the blanket off of you before repeating her words.

"Time to get up, baby."

"No," you grumbled and laid your arm over your eyes, but a flutter in your heart appeared as she gently put her fingers around yours and littered your arm with soft kisses. You felt your hand fall to the mattress and her fingers intertwine with your own before she resumed kissing you.

Only this time, the kisses were peppered across your face oh so sweetly. You couldn't even try to pretend to be asleep, you were already smiling as her kisses continued and she spoke in between them.

"C'mon, baby. It's a beautiful day. The sun is shining, the weather is warm. We both have the day off and we can do whatever your heart desires."

You peeked one eye open but closed it again when she kissed along your jaw.

"I just wanna be with you today, baby. Please get up? For me?"

You hummed and opened your eyes. She dropped her forehead onto yours, her minty breath fanned against your face making you giggle as it tickled you and caused goosebumps to rise on your skin.

"For you?"

She nodded, starting to smile as she gazed at you with bright eyes.

"Okay."

She grinned from ear to ear then peppered, even more, kisses along your face, making you throw your head back with a laugh.

"Have I told you how much I love you? How happy you make me?" She wondered and trailed her lips to yours, kissing every inch of your face along the way.

"Yes. Many, many times." You said, heart feeling warm and chest filling with butterflies as she gazed at you adoringly and brushed a lock of hair behind your ear before brushing her thumb in circles along your cheek. "But I love you too."

She finally kissed your lips and you sighed softly against her before looping your arms around her neck to bring her even closer.

"I like you waking me up like this. So much better than my annoying alarm clock."

She laughed and pecked your lips once more before pulling away and taking your hand to lead you out of bed.

"I'll just have to wake you up like that more often then." She said as she put her arms around you, hugging you from behind as you stepped into the bathroom to go and brush your teeth.

All you could do was nod your head happily, hoping that she would.
