《Ryujin Imagines (gxg)》you're cold

Ryujin held onto your hand tightly as you strolled through the city together. It was late and the sun had set a couple of hours ago, but neither of you cared.
The leaves on the ground that continued to fall from the trees as you walked crunched beneath your feet. The city was beautiful at night and though the air was starting to become chilly, you had no plans on turning back around when you were as happy as can be.
"I've missed nights like these with you," Ryujin whispered as she stared at you lovingly and brought your hand to her lips to lay a few soft kisses across your knuckles.
"So have I." You said, butterflies filling your chest over the continuous soft brush of her lips on your skin. You dropped your head to her shoulder and took in the sights of the city.
Soon, the wind started to blow. The leaves got swept up and blew through the streets and along the sidewalk and the branches on the trees began to sway from the force of the wind.
Before you left, you threw on one of Ryujin's shirts thinking you'd be warm and content enough in it. But now, you felt cold and goosebumps appeared along your skin as you shivered.
"Cold?" Ryujin asked, noticing how you were trembling from the cool air. "We can turn back around and head home if you want to."
"No!" You said quickly, making her chuckle. "We don't get nights like these all that much. I don't want to go home right now. I'll be okay."
While you tried to convince yourself of that, she could see right through it. She stopped walking and dropped your hand before reaching for her hood. She started to pull it over her head and then handed it to you.

"No, Ryujin, you really don't have to."
"You're cold, baby. Come on, put it on."
"I don't want you to get cold."
She shook her head and pulled it over your head. When it was over you, she laid a kiss on your lips and took your hand back into hers again.
"I will be just fine, baby. I promise. All that matters to me is that you're warm. Besides, if I get cold I'll just snuggle against you and put my hands in your pockets to warm up." She joked but all you could do is smile and kiss her cheek happily.
"That's perfectly fine with me." You said and watched her eyes light up before you turned to gaze at the city as you continued to stroll along happily with your girlfriend, still oh so happy.

The Ancient Core: A Progression Fantasy
The title of [The Ancient One] is bestowed upon an unassuming, forgotten Core. Hidden deep underground, it lies in wait, biding its time as it learns the rules of its surroundings. Roaming beasts and unknown threats surely threaten the little rock as it sticks to the darkness, its one true refuge. This is a slow-burning Dungeon-Core fiction with a LitRPG-System. You can expect an extreme amount of kingdom-building, an more in-depth Mana-System, and a Evolution-System. Chapters are between the length of 2-4k words, though the first 50 will likely be closer to 4k. Anything after will have the average be 2.5k. I personally like explaining how things work a lot, so do have that in mind if you decide to read this fiction. Crimson Gloom
Crimson Gloom. The time when the moon turns crimson, illuminating the landscape with its crimson glow. The time when the ‘doors’ to the Crimson Abyss open. One shall gaze into the abyss and gain its secrets and powers. Concurrently, the abyss also gazes into oneself, gaining one’s sanity and humanity. Dimensional rifts appeared spontaneously on Earth, bringing otherworldly demons along with the Crimson Gloom. Bloody battles were fought, noble sacrifices were made. Humans eventually sealed the rifts and successfully defended their homeworld. Alas, the seals were not perfect. The Crimson Abyss continued to exist, slowly influencing Earth and its inhabitants. Half a century of relatively uneventful years passed… humanity slowly descended into corruption, and the majority of them knew nothing of the effects of the Crimson Abyss. Is there only the dreadful gloom left to the world? Can one find brightness in the increasingly gloomy world? The youth who had gazed into the Crimson Abyss had no answer, nor did he care. He only wanted the Crimson Gloom to end, to forever seal the Crimson Abyss. A mistake and a twist of fate led the youth into a seemingly totally different direction. Will he forget his lifelong goal? Will he instead step back onto his initial path that he fervently pursued? Disclaimer: I do not own the image on the cover. Image edited on canva.com. This piece of work, after all, is only a first draft and by no means an end product by an amateur (beginner) writer. Mistakes are bound to happen. With that said, I will strive to improve as I write. Feel free to point out errors and inconsistencies as you read. I thank you for your time. Finally, I pledge to not rewrite this novel until the first draft is completed.
