Taehyung's parents stayed in town for a total of a week before they were going back to Korea. I love spending time with his family so we all went out for breakfast early morning. I drove the car to take Taehyung's parents to my favorite French restaurant. Unfortunately, Taehyung had to be at the hospital for his job.

"Thanks for taking us out, Graycen!" Taehyung's mother said with a huge smile. "It already smells great."

"No problem!" I smiled back at her before we were taken to a chair seated for three. Taehyung's father pulled out a chair for me than for his wife before we all got seated. "I want to thank you guys for coming to the gender reveal. It means the world to me and I'm sure it does to Taehyung as well."

Taehyung's dad hummed, "No problem, Graycen. I'm so excited for this new chapter in our lives. You're going to be a great mother and so will Taehyung! Don't you think so, honey?"

"Of course, I do!" Taehyung's mother agreed. "I also would like to apologize for the last time we had to say down to eat. I realized I said a comment that was unnecessarily rude. I honestly didn't realize that I was being rude at all. I'm sorry, Graycen."

I felt my chest burn with emotions after his mother apologized. I know it wasn't her intentions to come off insensitive, but it did come out that way. I gave her a weak smile back before I picked up the menu. "It's alright, all is forgiven. Let's look at the menu, you both have to get some food in your system before you step foot on the plane."

We took our time after that to review the menu. We shared our opinions on the things listed and I gave them tips on what to get. Taehyung and I always came to when I first got pregnant. I really craved their almond croissants.

"Bonjour, bienvenue à buvette!" A waitress came up to us, speaking in French. I chuckled at the surprised and confused facial expressions from Taehyung's parents.

"Bonjour, may we please order from the menu now?" I greeted back as the happy waitress nodded and flipped her notepad open.

"May my wife and I order ginger tea, please?" Taehyung's father requested which the waitress politely said yes to.

"A water for me please, thank you!"

The waitress nodded before asking, "Want to order your food now?" Taehyung's parents made eye contact with me as we both basically communicated that we were ready. They both ordered something light like scones and croissants. My stomach couldn't resist ordering Belgium waffle with berries and crème fraîche.

Our breakfast was surprisingly smooth. It got a little awkward for me when Taehyung's father asked where did Taehyung and I go wrong. At first, I was going to answer, but his mother stopped me. "Honey, it's not our business." He quickly apologized for being "inappropriate." I told him it was fine and that we should get going now.

I wasn't expecting them to pay, but they paid for breakfast before we left the restaurant. They had four more hours to go and I really wanted them to see Taehyung before they went home. "Do you guys want to visit Taehyung at the hospital?"

It was a joy seeing his mother's eyes lit up, "That's allowed?"

"Of course it is," I answered, "plus the people at the hospital know me. We're going to be fine, trust me."

The ride to the hospital was a comfortable silence with low folk music playing on the radio. I parked near the less crowded area of the hospital before we entered the hospital.

"Oh wow, how's it going?" The longtime receptionist, Cherry, greeted me with a wide smile. "You look fantastic as always." Cherry was always a sweetheart and even though I haven't seen her in a long time, she still looked the same as before.

I smiled right back at her, "I am doing great. I was wondering if you can bring Taehyung down here. I have his parents here with me." Cherry quickly nodded as she said her hellos to the parents. Cherry paged him with urgency as she told him that I was here with his parents. "He should be down here in ten. Is there anything I can do for you? Any drink or food?"

"No, I was just at Buvette actually."

Cherry gasped, "Really?! I love Buvette, it's good that you are taking care of yourself."

"Thanks," I was very grateful for her kindness but now I had to let her work, "I'm going to go take a seat. Take care of yourself and thank you for your urgency as always."

"No problem, bless you!"

I turned to face Taehyung's parents and then gestured for us to sit on an empty sofa. They were mainly looking around the hospital, visibly intrigued with the interior. The hospital always looked great and presentable and the staff was always kind. We sat around and talked about small things like the wellness of the hospital and how nice Cherry was. That was up until Taehyung cleared his throat and startled all of us.

Surprisingly, he wasn't dressed in his scrubs. He wore an ironed light blue buttoned down top with black slacks and black dress shoes. "What're you guys doing here?"

"Thought it'd be nice to see you before our flight," his mother smiled adoringly at him then stood up, "you look, nice son. What's the occasion?"

"I was actually going to head home, but I don't mind riding with you guys to the airport." Taehyung answered then he looked at me, "plus, I'm sure you've had enough driving around all day." I rolled my eyes slightly at that but stood up.

"It's just driving, Taehyung."

He didn't respond back but instead hugged his mother, "Thank you both for coming to the gender reveal. I don't know how I would've felt if you two didn't come along."

"Stop sounding ridiculous," his father swatted his shoulder before ruffling Taehyung's hair, "why would we miss something very important? Now, let's go." I stood up carefully from the sofa as we all started to walk out of the hospital. Taehyung's mother kept her hand at my back as we walked to the car.

"Who's going to ride in the front?" Taehyung asked as he looked at all three of us. "I don't care who does, but it's just a question."

"The woman carrying should decide if she wants to or not." His father suggested and then I picked the backseat. I picked the backseat because it was more leg space and because Taehyung's parents were about to leave. It would be nice of me to allow them to have time together. I reached into my purse and handed Taehyung the keys.

As Taehyung's father helped me into the right side of the backseat, memories flooded my brain. Memories of how much I loved the backseat when I was pregnant with Drew clouded my head. At times Taehyung used to think I was angry with him because I used to sit in the back when it was just the two of us. Taehyung's mother sat in the back with me but behind the driver's seat.

In route to the airport were jokes between the three which I sometimes chimed in when they asked me to. Somehow I ended up falling asleep on the way there and I had the pissiest attitude when Taehyung woke me up. When I woke up from the tickles at my side I looked to my side and there Taehyung was, hovering a bit over me. He unbuckled my seatbelt and reached his hand out.

"What?" I managed to groan out. "Leave me alone, I want to sleep."

Taehyung sighed, "Graycen, we're at the airport. Come on." I rubbed my eyes a bit and slowly sat up. "Graycen, come on. They have to catch their flight."

"Why do I have to come as well?" I pouted, feeling too exhausted.

"I can't leave you in the car by yourself," Taehyung continued his calm tone, "now take my hand." I huffed and even cried because I was so tired but I still took his hand. Once he helped me out the car, I snatched my hand back and crossed my arms. My mood swings had never caused me to have a bad attitude until that time. Taehyung just chuckled a bit as he locked the car and helped me inside the airport.

His parents were already inside, but he mentioned wanting to wait until they had to go to their gate. I understood that because his parents lived all the way in Daegu and we were all the way in New York. "Are you okay?" Taehyung asked me as we took a seat, waiting for his parents to come back from checking their luggage.

"Just tired and wanna go home. My feet have been hurting for a while now."

Taehyung frowned at that, "When was the last time you've had a checkup?" I wasn't expecting for Taehyung to get that worried over feet pain. "I know feet pain is a symptom, but when has been your last checkup?"

"A few weeks ago." I yawned before I learned more back in the seat. "Stop stressing out, I'll have an appointment set up if it makes you happy."

Taehyung just hummed, "Just make sure that you're doing what you have to do." We didn't say anything after that, we just waited for his parents to come back. During that time, I noticed Taehyung smiling at his phone a lot and chuckling.

I just looked down at my black flats on my feet and started to kick my feet. I felt a bit bored with everything and I wanted to sleep. I just couldn't sleep in the circumstances I was in. Even though Taehyung and I were getting a divorce, I still wanted us to be able to hold a consistent conversation. I just didn't know how to start a conversation up.

"We have ten more minutes before our flight comes." Taehyung's mother said which cause Taehyung and me to look up. "Our flight is earlier than expected."

Taehyung nodded, "Oh okay, you guys take a seat and try to relax until then."

"You know Taehyung," his father sat down and started to speak, "I know it barely says it. I just want to say I'm proud of you and no matter what life throws at you, you can do it. It's really hard for your mother and me because we're in two different continents. I still want to say it though."

I watched as Taehyung tried hard to fight the grin appearing on his face, "Thanks dad, that means a lot to me. I love you both and it's always great to sew you guys."

His mother started to speak, "I want you two to take care of yourselves. I know times can be hard. The situation you two are in as well, it can be a bit too much. You two are incredible and that'll make you two the best parents."

"Thank you," I told them, fighting the urge to cry. "Thank you for always being supportive of us."

Taehyung's father said in an obvious tone, "Of course. I've known you for so long. Why not, you guys always bring out the best in each other."

I wanted to say something back, but I just closed my mouth. There was no way that they would still be saying this if they knew what I've done. Taehyung and his parents kept small talk until it was time for them to leave.

They hugged me first and wished me luck. Then, when they hugged Taehyung they stayed hugging for a while. Taehyung's mother even got a bit teary eyed. It was a beautiful sight to see, just full of love. Once they walked away, Taehyung gestured for us to leave now.

"You're ready to go home now?"

I yawned before I answered, "Yeah."
