Juniper watched from the couch as Tom downed yet another cup of beer, Nikki shook her head and laughed as she watched her eldest son sway on his feet.

"God, he's so drunk." Juniper smiled, look at his mother who she was sat next too.

"I don't know about you but I don't think I've ever seen him this drunk," Nikki laughed as celebratory exclamations came from the group of boys. "I've seen him pretty drunk, he's usually drunk at family stuff like this. Of course, we trust him to make adult decisions. We've let him drink since he was 16, we'd like to think he knows what he's doing."

"I haven't actually seen him very drunk because he's so focused on his work, it's usually me he has to look after. Don't tell the American government that, I'm still underage there." June said as she finished the last of her glass of wine. She'd had enough to have a good buzz but only just not enough to be considered drunk.

"I think the drinking age being 21 is ridiculous, it's too high. It just makes kids want to do it more because they don't want to wait and they want to feel cool so they end up doing it in bad situations. That's how things go wrong. See we let the boys drink at 16 with us, just a beer every now and then you know because then they learn to drink in a safe environment."

"Yeah, I agree. My moms used to let have a sip of their wine or whatever every once and while. I dropped out of high school so I didn't really go to parties, I went to like, events but even then they let me drink. Perks of being semi-famous I guess." Juniper shrugged and rested her hand on her palm.

She continued her conversation with Nikki up until the point where the beer pong game was over, Harrison and Harry obviously winning. Tom made his way over to Juniper and bent down, planting a sloppy kiss on her lips. She kissed back for a couple seconds before pulling away, feeling odd doing it in front of his family.

He smiled at her and rubbed his thumb over her cheek. Juniper smiled at his drunk eyes, glowing red cheeks and the spiral of curls that spilt over his forehead. She reached her hand up and pushed it back up onto his head, only for it to fall back down.

She whispered for him to come sit next to her on the couch and almost yelled when she noticed he was about to attempt to vault over the furniture. Juniper bit her fist and took a deep breath when he sensibly (as sensible as drunk Tom could be) walked around to sit next to her.

He immediately pulled him into her, his arm around her shoulder. The other arm wrapped around her front and he all but dragged her into his lap. She let out a noise of surprise but went along with it as he buried his head into her neck. His hand ran up and down the side of her arm as he attempted to get her as close to him as possible. Eventually, she gave in and placed a hand on his head and ran her fingers through his hair.

"You're so pretty," Tom murmured into her neck. "I'm so lucky, I love you so much, never leave me."

"I don't plan on leaving you Tom, I love you too." She whispered back and kissed the top of his head before he pulled his head out of her neck.

"Mum? Isn't she pretty? She's pretty right? This is my girlfriend and she's pretty." Tom all but shouted across the room, a drawl in his voice.

"Yes, Tom," His mum laughed and smiled. "Juniper is very pretty."

"I know right." Tom smiled and put his head back into the crook of her neck. "I'm gonna marry you one day."

"Oh?" Juniper blushed.

"Mhm. I'm gonna punch out these movies and do good acting and make amazing and earn a lot of money. You're gonna make your albums and do more music and go on tour and then we're gonna get married and I'm gonna have a baby with you and we'll have a house and everything will be amazing and we'll be a big happy family." He smiled as he spoke, looking up at her. He kissed her jaw before trailing his lips up to her own lips, kissing her once again.

"God, I love you, Tom." Juniper whispered when they pulled away, sniffling and holding back the tears that threatened to fall. "I love you so much and I want nothing more than to marry you."

"Course you do, I'm Spider-Man." Tom quickly stood up when another song started playing. Juniper was pushed off his lap but an arm was extended out to her. "Dance with me."

"Is this even a danceable song?" Juniper questioned as she listened to the song, Drops of Jupiter by Train.

"Everything is danceable, sweet cheeks." He grabbed her hand and pulled her to her feet.

Tom pulled her into his chest, wrapping his arms around her as he made them sway back and forth. As the music intensified, he started singing along and doing sillier dance moves. There were parts he didn't know the words too but he still sang gibberish just as loud. He made her spin and all sorts of things that made Juniper squeal and giggle.

No one had ever seen such a wide and genuine smile on Tom's face for a long time. Juniper's eyes never left her boyfriend and she was smiling so wide her cheeks hurt. She always ended up back in Tom's arms, his lips on hers.

They two ended up dancing together for at least 20 more minutes, to all kinds of songs. Christmas music, Queen, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, hell, even 5sos. Even when Juniper sat down Tom kept going, having the time of his life but of course, they always ended up back in each other's arms.
