"What do you mean?" Her eyes widened and I chuckled.

"See for yourself," I led her into the bedroom. There were two separate beds for us to sleep on, but they were still side by side. If she was going to love me, I needed to be patient.

"Well isn't this nice," her eyes looked around in amazement. She looked even more beautiful now, even though we were much older than before. My love for her would never fade, and I hope I could reignite her passion and love for me.

"Where is Jhonny?" She looked at me.

"He's out of town," he looked at me surprised, "How did you know about him?"

"Gio told me," she said, "I wanted to know what I was getting into."

"I see. Shall we?" I held out my hand.

"I have to leave," I said to Aurora as I came out of the shower. Her eyes widened and I completely forgot that I was naked, "Sorry!"

"It's fine," she laughed.

"Gio is staging an attack tonight," I explained to her, "He needs me to go with him to help."

She nodded, "Is this safe?"

"Nothing is ever safe in the assassination business," I sighed, "but we'll be careful. Gio just needs to make decisions without emotion. He needs to be a coldblooded assassin to think past Sid's schemes."

"Is that what you're there for?" She raised an eyebrow.

"No," I retorted, "I'm there to see if the plan makes sense. If it doesn't, I'll know emotions are clouding his judgement and we can change things so that they work."

She walked towards me and placed a soft kiss on my lips, "Be safe. I know my daughter's life is at risk, but I don't want any bloodshed in order to get her back safely."

"The only bloodshed will be theirs," I said bitterly, "They were so out of line for what they've done."

"Alright men," I looked around at everyone, "Tonight is the night. I don't have to explain to you how crucial this mission is and how many important lives are at stake. It is important that we get in and out as swiftly as we can. Grayson will check everyone's weapons to ensure that they are silenced. If anyone screws up, I will end you."

"Everyone step over," Grayson motioned. He checked each gun one by one carefully. "We're clear."

"Here's the plan for the ground floor," I began, "I will enter through the front with one man at my side. Grayson will enter through the back and take out the guard. I will move swiftly and take out the guard in the kitchen, while Grayson takes out the other guard in the kitchen on his side. We will move the bodies out of sight, while the other person with me takes out the guard in the living room. This will only work if we use signals and our movements are in sync. We have to ensure that no guard is looking at each other or we will be screwed. We need to stay silent or else this can turn into a really ugly aggressive mission. Any questions so far?"

Everyone nodded to show that they understood.

"This where it gets tricky," I started once more, "Our tech guy will feed the cameras showing that the guards are in the room. The electricity will cut in the basement room for three minutes. The electricity is wired in the basement differently, so nowhere else in the house will lose electricity. Gianna will be with Sid, so she will try her best to keep him distracted if he suspects anything. We will have night vision goggles as well so it will be easy to maneuver. Two men will guard the door, and the rest of us will save our two targets. Each guard in the basement must be taken out as soon as the lights go out. They might shoot blindly if they sense anything wrong. If any gun goes off, that's it. Our mission will be instantly derailed and Gianna would be in danger. Is everything clear?"

"Yes sir," they responded.

"Alright," I said, "Everyone go get goggles and ear pieces."

"Are you alright?" Grayson placed his hand on my shoulder.

"I'll be fine when we're done," I sighed.

Jamie and I sat at the window in the dark looking to see when everything would start.

"Did he say what time they were going?" Jamie asked.

"No," I looked through the binoculars, "I guess they're prepping."

"Are guns going to be involved?" She asked quietly.

"Most likely," I put down the binoculars and looked at her, "I don't see them completing this mission without a gun. I'm sure the place is crawling with guards."

"I guess you're right," she sighed. I know that none of this was easy for her, but how would she react if I joined my family's company? How would Alex react? Her reaction might be worse.

We stopped a few blocks from Sid's house and began to proceed on foot. We weaved through the back of the houses silently and swiftly. I waited for Grayson to position himself and I began to pick the lock on the door. I entered quietly and left the door slightly ajar so that my men could enter behind me. I noticed the guard in the kitchen facing my direction.

"I took out the one on the porch," I heard Grayson in my ear.

"Okay," I responded, "Let's get the other two in the kitchen." I looked up once more and he finally looked in another direction. I shot him and we moved swiftly so that we could move the bodies. The other guard was taken out by one of my men.

"Good job," I said, "To the basement now. Are you ready to cut the power?"

"Yes," the tech guy responded. We positioned ourselves at the foot of the stairs. The good thing is that we had our friend on the inside, so we only had three guards to take out. The one on the stairs and the two others behind the targets. Our friend could take out the one next to him. Grayson shot the man on the stairs and we swiftly moved him out of sight.

"We're ready," I confirmed.

The tech guy said, "Cutting the power in five, four, three, two, one."

The room went black.
