I walked out the house and called Gio to pick me up. I entered the car and I didn't know how I was going to say what I had to say.

"You need to take me back to your house," I told him and he nodded.

"Are you going to tell me what happened?" He asked nervously.

"It went fine," I started, "Until he said that we have to leave."

Gio stopped the car, "What?!"

"Keep driving," I pleaded, "I don't want us to crash." He pulled to the curbside.

"Gianna," he faced me, "You're not going anywhere."

"What choice is there?" I asked him, tears welling up in my eyes, "I'll come back."

"And what if you don't?" He whispered, "What about that part?"

"We can't worry about that part," I sobbed. I didn't want to leave because I knew there was a possibility that I might not come back.

"Gianna," Gio comforted me, "I know these decisions are tough but you can't make them on your own. I'm here to help, to lift the burden."

"What should we do then?" I sniffled.

"I'm not sure yet," he grimaced, "but we do have the upper hand here. Sid won't harm you. He'll just take out his vengeance on his hostages, so we just have to get them tonight."

"That's too risky," I said to him.

"I'm sure the men have found loopholes in the security by now," he disagreed, "Did you see Alex?"

I nodded, "She was in the basement. There wasn't any guards though. It is possible that I couldn't see them."

"We should be able to sneak in," Gio said confidently, "Let's go see the men."

"Do you have any intentions of bringing her back?" I asked with disgust. He made me sick to my stomach.

"I do," he replied, "but I'm hoping that she falls in love with me all over again so I won't have to bring her back."

"What if she doesn't want you?" I asked incredulously, "You don't seem to be taking that aspect into consideration."

"Of course I've considered that," Sid said mischievously, "but that plan is not for you to know."

I sighed, "Well you've got your woman, let us go."

"I haven't gotten her yet and you know that very well," he narrowed his eyes at me, "You will leave when I believe Gianna is actually in love with me."

"That could take years!" I shouted.

"Oh trust me it won't," he smirked, "It will simply take some days."

Each moment that passed I became even more worried about Alex. Was he hurting her? Threatening her? Alex is strong but this is a completely different situation to what she's used to.

"Hey," Gina knelt by the bed beside me, "We're going to get her. Don't lose hope."

"I'm not," I whispered, "I just miss her. It's driving me crazy not knowing if she's okay."

"I know," Gina sighed, "It's driving me crazy too." She moved to sit next to me on the bed and grabbed my hand.

"I'm worried about Gianna as well," Gina said quietly, "She's at the center of all this mess. I can't believe someone would go through all these lengths to get a person back."

"Wouldn't you do the same for Alex and I?" I looked at her.

"Yeah," she smiled, "but I wouldn't try to hurt anyone in the process. I would try to make her remember me. It's just that this is a whole assasination thing, so violence has to be involved."

"That's a problem we're going to have to deal with after as well," I sighed.

"I know," she looked away.

I grabbed her face and pulled it towards mine, "Come here." I kissed her as gently as I could and placed all the love that I have for her in it. Wait... love? I felt such a burning desire to have her as mine. I don't ever want to lose her or Alex. My body moved on its own accord and I found myself in her lap, kissing her fiercely.

"Jamie," she tried to whisper in between kisses, but each time she tried to speak, I silenced her with more kisses. The air around us was charged with lust and love. The energy was intense.

"Jamie," she tried again.

"Let me do this Gina," my eyes pierced into hers.

"It feels unfair to Alex," she looked away, "How could we be doing this when she's kidnapped? I'm sorry. It just doesn't feel right."

I sighed and climbed off her. She was right. What the fuck was wrong with me? I get so overwhelmed with emotions that I just act without thinking.

"Hey," she pulled me back into her lap, "Who said you could move?"

We arrived back at the house where the men were working tirelessly to find any loopholes.

"What do we have so far guys?" I asked walking up to the desk where they were situated.

"This is the floor plan that we're working with for the ground level of the house," one of my men explained, "The red dots are how many guards on this level."

I looked at the schematics, "Great so two men can work that floor. Are those the positions?"

"Yes," he nodded, "There also aren't any cameras. The positions may vary because they will move around."

"What about the basement?" I looked at him.

"The basement was difficult to get information on," he sighed, "but one of our guys have a friend on the inside. This is what it looks like."

"I thought there would've been more guards," I looked at my men, "We can definitely take them. Especially since they'll be in the dark."

"This room has cameras," he said.

"That's fine," I said, "We have our tech guy, so he can hack into the feed and alter it."

"Easy job sir," the tech guy said.

"We leave when it's night," I told them, "Silenced weapons only and take knives as well. Get ready and we will go through the best tactic to maneuver our selves through each space."

"Yes sir!" They all said.

"See Gianna?" I turned but she was already gone. I found her outside sitting on the porch.

"I don't want anything bad to happen," Gianna said softly as I sat next to her on the porch.

"I know," I hugged her, "but we're used to this. I've done these type of missions a million times."

"Yes but Gio," she looked up at me teary-eyed, "There's so much more at stake here! This isn't an ordinary mission. Sid is so unpredictable."

"I know," I said, "but I have a good feeling Gianna."

"I don't," she disagreed.

"I don't want to fight," I sighed.

"I don't either," she looked away, "but you're being reckless."

"I don't see it that way Gianna," I denied, "I'm trying to save as much people as possible here. We've all got somebody to lose. Gina is counting on me. You are counting on me. I can't disappoint the both of you."

She grabbed my face and pulled me in for a kiss. I was surprised at first, but I quickly kissed her back, pulling her into my lap.

"I don't want to lose you," she rested her forehead against mine.

"You won't," I breathed, "Everything is going to be fine. Trust me."

Gianna's POV

We were now back at Sid's house, and fear coursed through my veins. I didn't know what to expect but I was terrified.

"Gianna," Gio grabbed my hand, "You're going to be okay." I hugged him tightly. I didn't want to part with him and I didn't know when I would see him again.

"I love you," I cupped his face with my hand.

"I love you more," he kissed me. A tear rolled down my cheek. If I didn't leave now, I would never leave. I got out of the car and wiped my tears. I didn't know if I'd be able to do this but I had to try. I knocked on the door and Sid answered it.

"What's the matter?" He looked at me.

"What do you mean?" I asked angrily, "You're taking me away from my family. Isn't that a reason to be angry?"

"I wish I could be sorry," he said, "but I'm not. You were taken from me. I know how it felt."

"Then you should understand how I feel," I stepped inside.

"I do," he agreed, "but that doesn't mean I have to be apologetic about it."

I rolled my eyes "When are we leaving?"

"Tomorrow," he pulled me upstairs, "We're sleeping here tonight."
