Gina's POV

We arrived at my home, only to find my house empty.

"Where are they?" I turned to Gio.

"I'm not sure," he said looking around, "They didn't say that they were going anywhere."

What the fuck is all this? I'm so tired of all the deceit and lies. I just want to save Alex.

"Can we make a plan without them?" I asked urgently.

"Yes," he nodded, "We would have resources."

We entered the house and it seemed as though everything was in place. It didn't look like anything had happened to them.

"So what is the plan?" Aurora asked as we gathered in the living room.

"Right now, the best thing to do is enter silent and sneaky," Grayson answered, "We're not giving up Gianna, but we may have to use her in order to get to them. Gio?"

"I agree," he sighed, "I don't want to use her, but I don't think we'll have a choice. We just have to ensure that she's protected well so that they don't end up with her."

"Are you sure about this?" I looked at my brother. He knows Alex means a lot to me, but I know how much Gianna means to him.

He nodded, "Too much is at stake here."

"I know, but -" I started.

"We don't have a choice Gina," he cut me off angrily, "We need to get over with what we don't want to do. If we don't, this plan will not work." I closed my mouth and nodded.

"How many people will we be working with?" Jamie asked quietly.

"We can all be in the vicinity in case anything happens," Grayson stated, "but going inside, we'll need some of our best men to move stealthily. So Gio, Gianna and about five other guys will enter the place. We need the schematics of the place to find an entry to the basement. If there isn't, we'll make one."

"This is going to take some time," Gio warned us, "Gianna would need to be prepped to handle Sid. We can't take too long or he'll know something's up. I say we should take about five days for the most to make a move."

"I also dropped a listening device that allows us to hear any conversations in the room," Grayson added, "We can hear if Sid comes in and says anything to Alex or Leonardo."

"Good thinking," Gio pat his back.

"Is there anything you need us to do?" I asked.

"Yes," Gio said, "Let's get rest and tomorrow we will start. The preparations will be rigorous because we have little time. Everyone is welcome to stay here. There are many guest rooms."

"Let's get to it," I stood up.

Alex's POV

I don't know how much time has passed, but when left alone with your thoughts, it feels like an eternity. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs, then it stopped in front of me. My blind was pulled off my eyes, and I blinked.

"There's no need for this," Sid said, taking off the one from the man as well. My eyes widened. He looked so much like my mother. He also looked at me and gave me a hopeful smile.

"I don't think they'll give you back Gianna," I said quietly.

"Why do you think that?" His eyes shot daggers into mine.

"Why would Giovanni give his wife for me?" I looked at him confused.

"Oh," Sid looked away, "You were not bait for him. You were bait to draw them all in. We really wanted them to see Leonardo."

I glanced at him and he looked angry.

"This is unnecessary and childish," Leonardo spat at him, "If you wanted her back, you could have just kidnapped her."

"What's the fun in that?" Sid laughed. He's fucking demented. I can't believe I didn't notice anything weird about him all this time. It's been years! Seeing him in this light, I can see the changes he's done to look the part. He probably used to wear makeup, which added to the fact that he might be gay.

"Will you really let us go if they give her to you?" I looked at Sid.

"You're so naive," he scoffed, "You think he's going to hand over his wife? Oh no. They are going to come with a plan and someone will get hurt in the process. Trust me."

I sighed. He's right. Giovanni would never give up his wife and I don't expect him to.

Aurora's POV

We spent day and night figuring out the most precise course of action. It was difficult but we finally had something solid and possible.

"Are we all set?" Giovanni looked at us. His wife had now joined us and clung to him tightly. I looked over at Grayson and his eyes caught mine and he smiled. I looked away and blushed. Now is not the time!

"I think so," Gina said.

"Say your respective goodbyes," Giovanni said sadly, "We will be in character for some time, so may you not get to interact with each other."

I walked across to Grayson and he took my hand.

"Everything is going to be okay," he smiled, "They'll be okay."

"I hope so," I bit my lip nervously. Everyone hugged and kissed each other as though it was the last time that we would see them. Tears welled up in my eyes and Jamie came over to me and squeezed me.

"It's okay," Jamie smiled, "We'll get them back."

I smiled and tried to feel as confident as her, but something still felt wrong.

Giovanni's POV

I stopped near Sid's house, and grabbed Gianna's hand.

"It's not too late to back out," my eyes searched her face looking for any doubt.

"We have to do this Gio," she touched my face with her hand gently, "Gina loves her too."

"I know," tears welled up in my eyes, "Promise me you'll be safe."

"I promise," she kissed my lips softly, "I love you."

"I love you more," a tear slid down my cheek and she wiped it away. Gianna has been by my side for as long as I remember. If anything happens to her, I wouldn't be able to continue.

"Let's do this," she said confidently.

Gianna's POV

We stopped outside of Sid's house and I looked at Gio. He was heartbroken and so was I, but we needed to do this. Tears were streaming down his face and I wiped them away.

"Please Gio," I begged him, "You're not making this any easier."

"I know," he tried to compose himself, "I'm ready." I kissed him one last time and gave him a smile.

"We can do this," I got out of the car and walked towards the house. This is it. I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
