"Sid?" I looked at him in the driver's seat, "What are you doing?"

"What do you mean?" He looked at me.

"Were you following us?" My eyes narrowed.

"No," he raised an eyebrow, "Why would I be?"

"It just seemed like you were," I looked around, "You even pulled aside at the same time."

"Well I get how that might look weird," he chuckled, "I pulled aside to read a text."

"Oh," I said, still unconvinced.

"I should be on my way now," he winked, "We'll talk soon!" I stepped on the sidewalk and he drove off. That was one of the weirdest encounters that I ever had.

"Jamie," Alex called to me, "Did you see his phone?"

"No," I thought back, "I didn't."

"Something is wrong," Alex said quietly and I agreed. Nothing felt right anymore.

"I am freaking out!" I said to Grayson on the phone.

"Calm down," he tried to soothe me.

"There has to be a mix up," I paced around, "How is he involved in anything? Why would I need to harm him?"

"I will check it out," he said quietly, "I'm not sure why they sent you a picture of the target. I was supposed to give you all the information."

"Sort it out!" I hung up. This couldn't be happening. I was already hurting Alex with so much of my poor decisions. Now this? Why would he even need to be a target?

Alex's POV

We got home to Gina sitting on our porch. She seemed a bit down, but her eyes lit up when she saw us.

"Hey," she smiled at us and we hugged her.

"Is everything okay?" Jamie asked her.

"Yeah," she looked away, "I just have a lot of thinking to do."

"Let's think inside," I pulled them.

We cuddled on the couch together, just happy to be whole. Even though I spend a lot of time with Jamie, I miss when we are all together. That's the only way things feel right.

"So," I started, "I know you're thinking, but there's a Halloween party this weekend in the neighbourhood. You guys wanna go?"

"I'm up for it!" Jamie said excitedly. It's the first time she's been so excited in a long time. She really loves Halloween parties.

"Do I have a choice?" Gina smiled.

"Nope!" Jamie and I said simultaneously and we laughed.

"What am I gonna go as?" Gina dolled her eyes.

"Let's all be something sexy," Jamie wiggled her eyebrows. I knew she was going to say that. Gina rolled her eyes and went to the kitchen to make something to eat.

"Did everything go well today?" She asked.

"It did," Jamie said nonchalantly.

"Something strange happened though," I told her, "We found Sid following us."

"Sid?" Gina didn't seem surprised, "Why was he doing that?"

"He said he wasn't," Jamie chimed in, "but I don't believe him."

"I found his visit yesterday to be strange as well," Gina noted.

"Me too," I agreed, "We have a stalker on our hands. We need to be careful."

Jamie and Gina both agreed.

Grayson's POV

I went over to the Romano's house to figure out what was happening. Why is the target some child? I rang the doorbell and Gio answered.

"Hey man!" I hugged him.

"It's good to see you," he smiled, "Come on in."

"What brings you to our home?" Leonardo asked as I entered.

"I am curious about Aurora's new target," I said immediately. I didn't have time to waste.

"What about it?" Leonardo asked, clearly disinterested.

"It's a boy from Gina's school," I looked at him, They're friends actually. Aren't we hitting a little too close to home? If we start taking out all the people close to them, they're going to start to put the pieces together. We've already gone too close.

"Are you telling me what to do?" Leonardo stood up.

"No sir," I said quietly, "I just think it's a bit strange. What reason do we have for killing him?"

"Sid is not their friend," Leonardo confessed, "He is a spy for another assassin organization. They are in danger with every passing moment that he's alive."

"Can't we just talk to him?" I sighed.

"We would risk our cover," he denied, "There are too many people involved in our organization to make that type of decision. It could end badly."

He was right. There was a lot of people situated here making our team work efficiently. This is bad news.

"Maybe someone else should take him out," Gio suggested.

"That might be a better decision," Leonardo agreed, "You and Grayson may work together on this one." I nodded and Gio smiled. It's been a while since we've worked together.

Sid's POV

"Were you spotted?" Boss asked.

"Yes," I said into the phone, "but they don't suspect anything."

"If you continue to be spotted, you will be in danger," he warned.

"It's fine," I said, "They don't know what'll hit them."

"I hope you're right," he hung up.

Everything was going according to plan. The Halloween party will be interesting.

Aurora's POV

I rushed home straight from work. I wanted to go see Alex, but I couldn't face her.

"Mom?" She answered when I called her.

"Hi honey," I said relieved to hear her voice.

"I thought you were coming over," she said quietly.

"I wanted to," I sighed, "but I'm not feeling too well. I've been fighting a migraine for some time."

"Did you eat?" She asked.

"I did," I smiled, "I think I'm going to try to sleep it off."

"Okay," she said softly.

"Is Jamie okay?" I closed my eyes.

"She's holding up," Alex sighed, "We're going to cremate the bodies tomorrow. You should come. She could really use some support right now."

"Of course," I agreed, "I will try to run away from work tomorrow."

"Thanks mom," she said relieved. She must be so stressed right now.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you too," she hung up the phone. I laid on my bed and then the doorbell rang. I refused to move. Whoever it was could just go away. The doorbell rang again and I groaned. Go away!

"Aurora," I jumped up, only to see Grayson smiling at me.

"How did you get in?" I looked at him.

"I'm an assassin," he raised an eyebrow, "I can get in any door I want to. You have been relieved from the mission."

"Thank you," I said gratefully, "Will he still be targeted?"

"Yes," Grayson said quietly, "I know it's hard but he works for another organization. The girls could be in danger." I sighed and he sat next to me on the bed.

"This is so fucked up," I said sadly, "This all started with me going to the club."

"You get used to it," Grayson tried to calm me.

"I don't want to get used to this Grayson!" I exploded, "I don't want to be responsible for any of these things."

"I know," he grabbed my hands.

"Grayson," I looked at him, "This is a lot of me. This is way past stressed. I can't even describe what I feel like right now."

Grayson's POV

I wanted to kiss her so badly, to put her mind at ease, to comfort her. I couldn't though. I had to focus on my mission. I couldn't let her get too close to me, but I wanted her so badly. She was in shorts and a vest. She had no bra on, her nipples hardening under the vest. Did she want me too?

I looked away. I couldn't. I shouldn't. I wouldn't.

"It's going to be okay," I hugged her. She pulled back and looked at me in my eyes. She tucked her hair behind her ears and bit her lip. God she was beautiful. I could barely resist her and this was me trying to keep my distance.

"Grayson...." she whispered.

"I can't Aurora," my self control was beginning to fade. I was itching to crash my lips into hers.

"Please...." her eyes flitted to my lips.

Fuck.
