Aurora's POV

"Good Morning," a woman sat behind the desk, "I presume that you are Ms. Brooks?"

"Yes, I am," I put out my hand to shake hers. She shook it then motioned for me to sit at her desk.

"I received recommendations for you to work with us from very high places," she eyed me, "My name is Jessica Breyers. I am the CEO of this company. We publish books, magazines and practically anything that can be published. We happen to have an opening for an accountant and you were highly recommended. To be honest, this isn't an interview. You are going to be hired. This is a formality so that we can say that we've met. You will be debriefed by my assistant tomorrow morning on your tasks. Any questions?"

"Who recommended me?" I asked.

"That information cannot be disclosed," she said matter-of-factly, "our investors request that we keep their identity on a strictly need-to-know basis."

I nodded, "What time do I need to arrive tomorrow?"

"Eight in the morning will suffice," she stated, "Will that be all?"

"Yes, thank you," I shook hands with her once more and left. Then, the text came in.

"How should I dress?" I asked Jamie after we finished our breakfast.

"Casual is fine," she shrugged.

"Okay, I'll go get ready," I headed up the stairs. I'm sure they were going to have a steamy session again but I didn't mind. Is it weird that it didn't bother me? I was getting way too comfortable with this thruple thing. I hopped in the shower and tried to think of something to wear. Casual? That's so many options. I don't even know why I was making such a big fuss about this. It's just Jamie.

I decided that I would wear a white crop top and ripped blue jeans. I guess I could wear some white sneakers. Of course when I came downstairs, Alex was in Jamie's lap having a hot makeout session.

"Jeez guys," I clapped my hands, "my poor couch!" They broke apart and laughed.

"So where are you gonna go?" Jamie asked Alex.

"I was thinking that you could drop me off at home," she said quietly, "my mom should be home by now."

"We can check on you after," I suggested and she smiled.

"I'd love that." We hopped into Jamie's car and headed to Alex's house. On the way there, her mom called and said she was on her way back home. Alex seemed quite thrilled about that and I was happy for her. I don't think she could handle anything happening to her mom. We dropped her off and I was left alone with Jamie.

"So where are we going?" I looked at her.

"It's still a surprise," she smiled.

Alex's POV

I came home to an empty house yet again. I was pretty used to it, but somehow today felt different. These past couple of days I've been cooped up with Gina, so I felt less lonely. I walked up to my bedroom and sat on my bed. I hope today went well with Gina and Jamie. I really don't want to choose between the both of them because they're both so amazing. Gina has that intense mystery vibe and Jamie has that glamorous wild vibe. They're both eccentric in their own way. I got comfortable on my pillow and dozed off. I woke up about two hours later, and decided to cook something to eat.

"Here we are!" Jamie switched off the car. My mouth dropped to the floor when I got out of the car. What the fuck? I cannot believe Jamie took us here.

"Jamie...." I trailed off trying to absorb the beauty of this place. Who does this for a first date? Surely she just chose somewhere with no significant meaning.

"Gorgeous, isn't it?" She said excitedly, "I thought we could have fun while trying to get to know each other. I know it's a bit over the top, but I wanted somewhere private as well so we could be comfortable." I stared at her. Did she rent out the entire building? How rich was she? I was honestly impressed. Not by the materialistic things, but by the effort she put into choosing a location and the meaning behind it. This place was so breathtaking. The nature, the aesthetic, it was perfect.

"Jamie," I tugged at her arm, "I am honoured to go on this first date with you. I didn't think that you'd have put so much effort into this. I honestly didn't think you cared."

"I know our attraction seems purely physical," she smiled, "but I'd like to see if there's something more. You love with such intensity it's admirable."

Me? Love? She must know another Gina.

"Hi, Jamie," an attendant came towards us, "would you like to see your room?"

"Sure, Val," Jamie grabbed two bags from trunk of her car, "I brought some stuff from your closet. We're going to need it"

This girl. I never imagined that thoughtfulness would feel like this. I've always been the one doing things for the sake of others, taking care of them. Today honestly feels like I'm being taken care of. The attendant escorted us to the room and my breath was taken away once more.

A fucking four poster bed. Wow. The scenery was so gorgeous outside!

I think my heart melted. These two girls would definitely be the death of me. I didn't come in this for love but at this moment right here, I wanted nothing more than to experience it with the both of them.

"Jamie," I whispered. I didn't know what to say.

"Come," she pulled me onto the bed, "I want to know everything about you."

Aurora's POV

I got home around lunch time, and something smelled really good.

"Alex that smells delicious!" I called.

"Mom!" She ran from the kitchen to give me a hug. I missed her so much. I didn't even think I would ever see her again.

"How are you, honey?" I whispered.

"I'm fine," she pulled me into the kitchen, "I have so much to tell you, but we're gonna do it over food." I was so proud of Alex and the woman she was becoming. She dished out chicken alfredo for the both of us, along with some freshly squeezed orange juice.

"This is lovely Alex," I beamed at her, "before we get started, I was wondering if you could hang out at Jamie's around seven? I have a work meeting here."

"On a Sunday?" She raised her eyebrows, "and what job? I didn't know you got another."

"This morning actually," I looked at her, "they wanted to discuss some finalities. They made it into a meet and greet kinda thing. It's with Breyer's Publishings." Her eyes opened widely.

"That's great mom! They're a big deal here," she exclaimed.

"Yeah," I ran my fingers through my hair, "what was your news?"

Alex's POV

I wish I could count the amount of lies my mother just told me. Almost every single word was a fucking lie. I decided to play along, I would find out soon enough.

"I'm dating two girls," I waited for her reaction.

"Who are they?" She raised her eyebrows in complete shock.

"The girl you saw at the club, her name is Gina. The other person is Jamie," I said matter-of-factly.

"Jamie?!" She said incredulously, "How did that happen?"

"Jamie's been in love with me for some time," I sighed, "She's bisexual."

"Wow," she muttered, "do they know that you're dating them both?"

I nodded, "We're all dating each other. The three of us might be a couple. Gina and Jamie are on a date right now to get to know each other a bit better."

"Honey," she started, "Polyamorous relationships are a lot of hard work."

"I'm willing to put in that work," I said confidently.

"Are they?"

She was right. Today would decide how things move forward between all of us.

"Jamie's mom leaked the tape," I remembered.

"What?" She looked surprised, "Why would she do that?"

"She wanted a promotion," I rolled my eyes. My mom sighed as if she'd seen it coming.

"Danielle has always wanted my spot. Everything is never enough for her."

Jamie's POV

Everything was going perfect and I think Gina loved it. We were lying on the bed getting to know each other.

"What are some of your goals?" She asked playing with a strand of my hair.

"I'm not too sure," I mused, "I'm into business, so I'll probably open a company or multiple businesses. You?"

"I'll probably end up in my family's company. There isn't really much of an option for me there," she murmured.

"Everyone has a choice," I looked at her.

"Not in my family," she laughed, "it's like fate." I felt the sadness in her voice. Gina truly is a beautiful soul. Her eyes stared straight into mine and I saw the sadness behind them. Was her life really that complicated? I reached out for her face and kissed her. She was surprised at first, but made no haste to return the kiss. Her legs intertwined with mine, and her arm rested on my waist. This felt different than kissing Alex. I always feel like I'm trying to make up for lost time with her because I was fighting against Gina. Now, I don't feel like any time is lost at all. I gained something very special and I can't wait for all three of us to experience being together.

Gina broke apart from the kiss, breathless.

"Shall we try the pool?" Gina smiled.

I waited for my mother to go get ready, then I set up a tiny camera in the living room. I knew that she was keeping something from me, but I wanted to be certain before I jumped to conclusions. I trusted my mom, don't get me wrong. I just found it pretty strange that she had an interview on a Sunday of all days, then had people coming over. She barely knew them! I heard her coming downstairs and quickly pretended that I was sitting on the couch all along.

"How do I look?" She asked twirling around. She wore a black dress with nude heels.

"You look great," I said, "Isn't it a bit much?"

"Well it is a meet and greet so I guess everyone will be dressed up," she looked down at her clothes, "This is a big deal Alex. People won't come in jeans." She's good. She's got her lies pretty straight.

"Alright," I gathered my stuff, "I'm gonna go over to Sid's."

"Alright," she kissed my cheek, "be safe."

She didn't even asked how I was getting there.
