《Me and You: The Beginning》16.

After school, Sid, Jamie, Alex and I met at my car. We seemed to be doing everything as a group now. Well I guess that's to be expected, considering what happened to Alex today.
"So what's the plan?" I asked them.
"I think I need to go home and speak to my mom," Alex sighed.
"Do you want me to go with you?" Jamie took her hand. Damn, she beat me to it. What was I gonna do even if I went with her? I took a moment to appreciate how good Jamie looked. Those tight jeans, huge ass and big breasts, ther were a fucking turn on. I wouldn't mind at all if Alex wanted us to have a fucking threesome.
"I think so," Alex snapped me back to reality. I sighed. Of course she would pick her bestfriend to go with her. Right now, I can't compete with that.
"Gina?" Alex looked to me to see how I would react.
"It's not a problem," I kissed her. Jamie's jaw dropped and Alex turned bright red, "you can text me later. I'd like to know how it goes." I got in my car and drove off.
I was fucking jealous and I knew it, but I wasn't about to show it.
Gina kissed Alex like it was no fucking big deal. How dare she?
"Hey girls," Sid announced, "I gotta run. Text me to let me know how things go." I nodded and I got into the car.
"Look Jamie-" I cut her off by pressing my lips against hers. I've wanted to do it all fucking day but I didn't get the chance. She wrapped her hands around my neck, and tilted her head to deepen the kiss. We stopped after some minutes, breathless.

"I've been wanting to do that since I saw you this morning," I rested my forehead against hers.
"Oh, Jamie," she whispered.
"I don't care what happens with you and Gina," I decided, "when it's our time, it's our fucking time."
We pulled up at my house and I took a deep breath.
"We're here," Jamie shut off her car. My mom's car was in the driveway so I knew she was here.
Was I ready to do this? How do I even start? I felt Jamie's hand grab mine and she squeezed it. We got out of the car and headed towards the door.
"Mom?" I called as we entered.
"In the kitchen," she answered back.
"Can you come in the living room?" I sat down with Jamie on the couch.
"Sure! Give me a minute."
I fiddled with my fingers unsure of what to do, but when I saw her face I knew what I had to do. She already knew that I knew.
"Mom we need to-"
"Let me go first," she cut me off. "I saw you that night with the girl at the club and I know you saw me dancing. I figured that I could pretend that I didn't but it seems that things escalated further. A video of me dancing was sent to my boss and I got fired."
"Mom," I sighed, "the video was also sent to everyone in school. What were you thinking?"
"Honey," she whimpered, "I was thinking that I could get a little extra money for the both of us and no one would know. You're getting older and I wanted you to get a car and many other things before you left for college."

"Mom," I hugged her, "you didn't need to do that." She began crying and Jamie and I comforted her.
"I'm going to be out of town for a bit," she wiped her tears. "I want things to die down a bit so I can work on getting a new job. I left some money for you to get anything that you might need. The neighbours will look after you and I'd like Jamie to come stay with you. Maybe even Sid."
"Mom," I said dumbfounded, "this isn't necessary."
"Sweety," she cupped my face, "it's hard to bounce back from something like this. No one will hire me right now." She was right. No one would be able to see past the video.
"When will you be going?" I said sadly.
"Tomorrow morning," she stated. "Jamie, I'll need you to make sure your mom is okay with you staying here. I'm stepping out to get some things before I leave." Jamie nodded.
"Would you mind giving us a moment alone, Jamie?" My mom looked at her.
"Sure, Ms. Santiago. I'll go ask my mom," Jamie picked up her keys. She waved goodbye and I was now alone with my mom.
"Why were you with a girl?" My mom's eyebrows raised.
Fuck.
I didn't think we'd have this conversation right now.
I ran my fingers through my hair, "I've started dating a girl." Her eyes opened widely.
"I'm so surprised!" She exclaimed, "I hope you know that means I still love you."
"Thanks mom," I hugged her. I decided it was best to leave out that I was dating Jamie too. She might not want Jamie staying over if she knew we were doing more than watching movies.
"I'm heading out now," she let me go, "are you fine alone?"
"Yeah," I nodded, "I'm sure Jamie is going to be on her way back soon." She agreed and got her keys to leave. She hugged me goodbye and headed out.
I decided to text Gina.
I didn't know if it was a good idea to invite her but I did it anyways.
Jamie's POV
On my way home, I received a call from my mom.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Where are you?" My mother demanded.
"I'm on my way home. Chill," I rolled my eyes. "Hey mom, can I stay over at Alex's house for a bit? Her mom is going out of town for some time."
"No, you can't," my mom said vehemently, "Alex's mom is going through a serious scandal right now and I don't want you caught up in it."
"What the fuck, mom?" I scoffed.
"I'm serious," she said. "Come home now."
