Scarlett's pov

The next day our pack had lined up. Something tragic had happened.

"James.. How did they do it? How did we keep our guard down?" I ask so nervous yet angry at the same time.

They had Grace. We don't know where they are.

"Today, my best friend Grace has been kidnapped by the rogue king Kyle and his mate Allison. I ask for your assistance and support for looking for Grace. She's important to our pack and is necessary. Please help me." I speak aloud to the pack during the meeting.

Everyone muttered and spoke to the fighters beside them.

"Grace.. We need to get her back." I say with one last bit of confidence.

Everyone yelled in agreement and ran off. The search parties are off.

"Lets corner Cassy." Nick said with a smile on his face.

I nod and think of the plan. Tonight we find out where grace is. Tomorrow we rescue her.

Nick pov

I was going to ask Cassy on a date. I was taking her to an open field by a cliff. It's isolated but perfect to trap her with.

Cassy is what most guys go with Hot. Mate less wolves think that at least. I don't see Cassy beautiful in any way.

Cassy has long dark brown hair. But it isn't as shiny and soft as Scarlett's light brown hair.

Cassy has navy blue eyes.

Scarlett has ocean blue eyes with a twinkle of happiness.

Everything about them just makes me love Scarlett more and more.

I stop outside my room and grab my notebook.

Reason number 8..

'Scarlett, your smile makes me want to keep going. You have the cutest dimples ever and when you smile your eyes shine in happiness. I loved.. Or still love making you smile or laugh. You smiled for the simplest things. You went from the most hilarious sight ever to just your mate walking through the door. Your smile has to be contagious. Every time you smile, I smile. Your happiness makes me so happy and successful. I never thought I was cut out for this whole mate thing but just seeing your beautiful smile pushed me to get over that problem. As long as you smile, I won't ever stop loving you.'

"Hey Cassy? Go get ready." I speak quickly and look the the blondes stare at me.

"Hmm? Why? Where are we going?" Cassy shot questions at me.

"It's a surprise. Go get ready. Wear... Something casual. Like a skirt or jeans." I explain my best with my eyes brows crunched together.

Cassy looked surprised at the fact we are going on a date.

"Grace is gone and you want to go on a date?"

I nod and skip out the room 'excited.' Cassy isn't even my mate. She's a total slut. And what kind of nurse goes and becomes friends with random people? Like what about everyone else? Didnt she have more friends!

In 30 minutes Cassy was wearing a black blouse and a red skirt. Her hair was in a messy bun and she wore silver stud earrings.

"Hey Cassy." I kiss her cheek and she blushes.

Does she actually like me?

Cassy pov

He kissed my cheek and I swore I blushed so hard. Wow I think I'm falling for this guy. I don't want anything to get in our way now. I know we aren't mates but Scarlett obviously doesn't want Nick. And I would give my mate away for Nick any single day.

We climb into the car and we ask each other questions and talk casually.

"We are here." Nick announced with a smile.

I couldn't be more excited. Note the sarcasm.

It was a dark cliff with no romantic lights or anything. It was just a dark cliff. There was a bit of grass but mostly dirt covered the land. And the worst part was, we weren't alone. Scarlett, James and Celine stood there with a triumphant look.

"What's going on Nick?" I ask beyond nervously.

He smiled and got out of the car. Perhaps this is apart of the date...

I have my doubts.

"Cassy.. You were my new friend. I believed you had actually found your mate. But to know every thing was a lie is very.. Aggravating. I can't believe it. You would lie to your alpha and Luna." Scarlett began in an angry tone.

"But most of all Cassy, you were after Grace. Your brother has her and we will get it out of you." James Boomed.

Nobody said a word.

"I will never ever tell you." I say with confidence.

"Please Cassy. I promise to be with you." Nick said with a begging tone.

I look at him and I gave in.

"Kyle and Allison have her at Tyrant Gray pack. Good luck." I say and look at Nick lovingly.

He smiled and then I feel a pain in my head. I immediately lose consciousness.

Scarlett's pov

We put Cassy in our pack cell and James immediately gathered all the fighters.

I was so ready to go when James stopped me. As Luna, I should protect our pack while the fighters are gone.

I will be a good Luna.

Not.

I'm sneaking off and following them.
